Este é o último Last Movie do ano, acreditam que já vamos para 2014? Eu ainda não acredito que passou o ano tão rápido, mas apesar de tudo tive um ano fantástico e o blog só me trouxe coisas boas, principalmente a vossa presença desse lado todos os dias! 

This is the last "Last Movie" of the year, can you believe that we're on our way to 2014? I still don't believe that the year was gone so fast, but despite everything I had a fantastic year and the blog brought me a lot of good things, especially your presence by that side every day!

Querem saber o filme que eu vi esta semana? O Bambi 2, um dos filmes mais amorosos de sempre e que me lembra sempre a minha infância, pois os filmes da Disney sempre fizeram parte do meu crescimento e adorava vê-los vezes e vezes seguidas com o meu irmão. Que saudades desses tempos! Como o segundo filme do Bambi só saiu em 2006, ainda não o tinha visto e nem sei como!

Do you want to know which movie I saw this week? Bambi 2, one of the most adorable movies of all times and that always reminds me of my childhood, because Disney movies were always part of my growth and I loved to watch them over and over again with my brother. How I miss those times! Because the second movie of Bambi only came out in 2006, I hadn't seen it yet and I don't even know how!

Depois da mãe do Bambi morrer, ele fica a cargo do seu pai, o Grande Príncipe da Floresta, que vai sempre buscar conselhos à sua amiga coruja. Ele aceita o conselho da coruja e fica a cuidar de Bambi durante o Inverno, pensando em dá-lo para adopção no início da Primavera. Mas durante esse tempo, o Grande Príncipe acaba por ser cativado pelo bondade e pela coragem do seu filhote e aceita a responsabilidade de o criar.

After Bambi's mother dies, he stays living with his father, The Great Prince of the Woods, who always go get advices to his owl friend. He accepts the advice from the owl and stays with Bambi during the winter, thinking in giving him for adoption in the beginning of the Spring. But after that time, The Great Prince ends up being captivated by his kindness and courage and accepts the responsibility of raising him.

Um filme amoroso e cativante. Gostei muito e tenho a certeza de que tenha eu 20, 30 ou 40 anos, irei sempre adorar os filmes da Disney. E vocês, viram muitos filmes durante a época natalícia? Contem-me tudo!
An adorable and captivating movie. I really liked it and I'm sure that whether I am 20, 30 or 40 years old, I will always love Disney movies. And what about you, have you seen a lot of movies during the Christmas time? Tell me all about it!

Good morning Sunday!

Estamos tão pertinho do Natal, faltam 2 dias para a Véspera de Natal e agora esta é a altura de preparar os últimos detalhes, comprar as prendas que ainda faltam e fazer os docinhos todos. É mesmo a altura mais mágica do ano! Como já estou de férias e já entrei totalmente no espírito natalício, tenho visto alguns filmes, e é sobre eles que venho falar hoje. Uns muito bons, outros nem por isso, mas todos merecem estar aqui presentes. Foram eles: A revolta dos perus, ADORE, EPIC, Spring breakers e Chovem Almôndegas 2.
We are so close to Christmas, only 2 days left to Christmas' Eve and know it's the time to prepare the last details, buy any gift that is still missing and make all the cakes. It's really the most magical time of the year! Because I'm on vacation and I'm totally on Christmas spirit, I have been watching a lot of movies, and that's what I come to talk today. Some very good, others not so much, but they all deserve to be here. They were: Free Birds, ADORE, EPIC, Spring Breakers and Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2.

Em A Revolta dos Perus existe um bando gigante de perus que vive uma vida calma e repleta de milho numa quinta familiar. Eles acreditam que se comerem muito milho, o agricultor os levará para o "paraíso dos perus". Mas Reggie não acredita nessa história e como é um peru bastante esperto tenta demonstrar ao resto do grupo que estão enganados e que existe um desinteresse pela existência mundana e anafada dos perus.
In Free Birds there is a giant group of turkeys that live a calm life full of corn in a familiar farm. They believe that if they eat a lot of corn, the farmer will take them to "the paradise of turkeys." But Reggie doesn't believe in that story and because he's a smart turkey he tries to show to the group that they're wrong and that exists a big indifference towards the existence of turkeys.

In EPIC is told a story about a battle deep in the forest between the good and the bad forces. A teenager is magically transported to that secret universe and will have to join the fun and extravagant group to help them save their world and of course, our world.

Em Spring Breakers quatro amigas roubam um restaurante para puderem ir para a viagem de finalistas e acabam por ser enganadas por um traficante de armas e drogas que quer que elas façam todo o trabalho sujo com ele.
In Spring Breakers four friend steal a restaurant to get money to go on the Spring break trip and they end up by being deceived by a weapons and drugs dealer that wants them to do all the dirty work with him.

 E por fim, Chovem Almôndegas 2 que começa exactamente onde o primeiro filme terminou. Flint Lockwood é finalmente reconhecido pelas suas invenções e é convidado pelo ídolo Chester V a juntar-se à sua companhia, The Live Corp. O grande sonho de Flint é ser reconhecido como um grande inventor, mas tudo muda quando ele descobre que a sua máquina, que transforma água em comida, ainda funciona e está a criar animais-comida híbridos - "comidimais". Chester envia assim Flint e os seus amigos para uma missão deliciosamente perigosa de forma a tentarem salvar mais uma vez o mundo!
And finally, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 that starts exactly where the first movie ended. Flint Lockwood is finally recognized by his inventions and is invited by the idol Chester V to join his company, The Live Corp. The great dream of Flint is to be recognized as a great inventor, but everything changes when he discovers that his machine, that transforms water in food, is still working and is creating hybrid animal-food. So Chester sends Flint and his friends to a deliciously dangerous mission in order to try to save the world once again.

 

De todos, Spring Breakers foi o filme que gostei menos, é sinceramente dos filmes mais ridículos que vi ultimamente, embora mostre uma realidade que nem sempre reconhecemos. Quanto aos restantes filmes recomendo todos sem dúvida alguma, adorei todos e como já devem ter percebido sou uma grande fã de filmes de desenhos animados eheh!

Of all, Spring Breakers was the movie that I liked the least, it's honestly one of the most ridiculous movies that I have seen lately, although it shows a reality that we don't always recognize. The other movies I recommend without a doubt, I loved them all and as you might have noticed I'm a big fan of cartoon movies eheh!

Acho que já sabem de que filme venho falar hoje, não é? Finalmente consegui ir ao cinema ver o novo The Hunger Games: Catching Fire e ADOREI! A história continua e melhor do que nunca, cheia de acção, mistério, com um elenco ainda mais espectacular e um enredo cada vez mais interessante e viciante.

I think you already know which film I come to talk about today, isn't that right? I finally managed to go to the theaters to see the new Hunger Games: Catching Fire and I LOVED IT! The story continues and is now better than ever, full of action, mystery, with an even more spectacular plot and a story each time more interesting that grabs our attention.

Depois da manobra de Katniss Everdeen e Peeta Mellark na 74ª edição dos Jogos da Fome, Panem entrou num estado de caos e o acto dos tributos foi encarado como um acto de amor. Surge então um acto de rebelião contra o cruel governo que rege o país. O presidente Snow através de chantagem obriga Katniss e Peeta a fazer a tour da vitória pelos vários distritos, de forma a convencer a população de que realmente estão apaixonados. Mas como acontece a cada 25 anos, uma edição reformulada dos Jogos da Fome surge e são esses mesmos jogos que irão mudar a vida de Katniss e de Peeta para sempre.

After the manipulation of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in the 74º Hunger Games edition, Panem has entered in a state of chaos and the act of the tributes was faced and an act of love. Suddenly an act of rebellion against the cruel government that rules the country comes up. President Snow through blackmailing forces Katniss and Peeta to make the victory tour around the several districts, trying to convince the population that they're really in love. Como é costume ao Domingo eu falo dos últimos filmes que vi e que nunca tinha visto, mas hoje trago algo um pouco diferente. Em 2014 vai estrear o novo X-MEN e por isso desatei a ver todos os filmes anteriores e cheguei à conclusão que nunca tinha visto todos, incluindo o The Wolverine que saiu este ano. É chocante eu sei! Por isso hoje decidi vir falar-vos desta colecção de filmes, pois se calhar há quem nunca tenha visto todos, como eu, e assim fique com vontade eheh.

As usual on Sunday I tell you about the last movies I saw and that I had never seen before, but today I bring something a little bit different. In 2014 the new X-MEN is coming, so I decided to watch all the previous movies and I reached to the conclusion that I hadn't seen all of them yet, including the Wolverine that was out this year. It's chocking I know. So today I decided to talk about this movie series, because maybe there are people that never saw them all, just like me, and this way will want to see them.

A série de filmes X-Men é composta por filmes de ficção científica baseados numa equipa de super-heróis da Marvel Comics. Conta com actores como Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart e Ian McKellen. Wolverine, uma das personagens mais importantes, é arrastado para um conflito entre o Professor Xavier e Magneto, que têm visões opostas sobre a relação da humanidade com os mutantes. O professor acredita que a humanidade e os mutantes podem coexistir mas Magneto não concorda e acredita que são os mutantes que devem governar a humanidade.

The X-Men movie series is constituted by science fiction movies based on a Marvel Comics team of super-heroes. It has the participation of Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Wolverine, one of the most important characters, is dragged into a conflict between Professor Xavier and Magneto, that have different visions about the relation between humanity and mutants. The professor believes that humanity and the mutants can coexist but Magneto doesn't agree and believes that the mutants should rule humanity.

- A trilogia principal é composta por X-Men (2000), X2 (2003) e X-Men The Last Stand (2006). Os dois primeiros filmes foram um ressurgimento das adaptações para cinema dos super-heróis na década de 2000 e foram elogiados pela tonalidade sombria e realista e pelo subtexto de discriminação e intolerância. O terceiro filme foi o que mais facturou nos cinemas mas conseguiu dividir os críticos e os fãs.
  The main trilogy is constituted by X-Men (2000), X2 (2003) and X-Men The Last Stand (2006). The two first movies were a reappearance of cinema adaptations of super-heroes in 2000 and were liked by their dark and realistic shade and by the discrimination and intolerance text. The third movie was the one that turned over the most in the theaters but it managed to divide critics and fans.

- A pré-sequência é constituída por X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) e X-Men First Class (2011). O primeiro filme da pré-sequência mostra como Wolverine ganha as suas garras e perde a memória e o segundo mostra com o Professor Xavier e Magneto se conheceram na década de 60.
  The sequence is constituted by X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and X-Men First Class (2011). The first movie of the sequence shows how Wolverine gets the claws and looses his memory and the second shows how Professor Xavier and Magneto met in the 60s.

  

- Este ano retomou-se a trilogia com The Wolverine (2013) e futuramente em 2014 com X-Men Days of Future Past.  Este primeiro filme foca-se na acção depois de The Last Stand e o próximo filme marcará o encontro das versões jovens com as versões mais idosas de Xavier e Magneto.
  This year the trilogy returned with The Wolverine (2013) and soon in 2014 with X-Men Days of Future Past. This first movie focus on the action after The Last Stand and the next movie will mark the encounter between the young generations with the older generations of Xavier and Magneto.

Agora em relação ao post de hoje, venho falar-vos do filme que vi esta semana. Já ouviram falar do Elysium, que esteve no cinema há relativamente pouco tempo? Finalmente tive oportunidade de ver e adorei! O Matt Damon continua a surpreender como actor.

Now concerning today's post, I come to talk about the movie I saw this week. Have you heard about Elysium, which was on the theaters not so long ago? I finally had the chance to watch it and I loved it! Matt Damon continues to surprise as an actor.

 Em 2159 existe uma grande diferenciação entre classes. Os ricos vivem numa estação espacial chamada Elysium, com todas formas de prazer, e os restantes vivem miseravelmente no Planeta Terra, que está sobrepovoado e à beira do colapso. A situação na Terra vai-se tornando cada vez mais complicada e os seus habitantes procuram cada vez mais formas de sair do planeta e ir para Elysium. Max de Costa (Matt Damon) fica ferido e aceita então uma missão arriscada que se torna na única alternativa de salvar a sua própria vida, e também a de mais milhões de outros seres humanos.

In 2159 there is a great differentiation between classes. The rich live in a spacial station called Elysium, with all the forms of pleasure, and the others live miserably on Earth, which is overpopulated and almost collapsing. The situation on Earth is becoming very complicated and its inhabitants look for other ways of escaping from the planet and go to Elysium. Max de Costa (Matt Damon) is hurt and accepts a risky mission that becomes the only alternative to save his own life, and also the life of other million human beings.

Hi everyone and a fantastic Sunday!

Nem acredito que nunca tinha visto o filme de que vos vou falar hoje. Há sempre alguns clássicos que nós ouvimos falar mas nunca vimos, e este era um deles: A lenda do Cavaleiro sem Cabeça. Quem nunca ouviu falar desta lenda? E ainda por cima o filme é com o Johnny Depp, um dos meus actores preferidos! 

I couldn't believe that I had never seen the movie I'll talk about today. There are always some classics that we heard of but we never see, and this was one of them: Sleepy Hollow. Who hasn't heard about this legend? And it counts with the participation of Johnny Depp, one of my favorite actors!

A história do filme ocorre em 1799, quando o investigador Ichabob Crane (Johnny Depp) é enviado a Sleppy Hollow para desvendar uma série de assassínios misteriosos que lá têm acontecido. Todas as vítimas eram decapitadas e todos acreditavam que o assassino era um ex-combatente de guerra que todas as noites voltava da floresta para procurar a sua cabeça, perdida em combate. É isso que Ichabob irá investigar, juntamente com Katrina Van Tessel (Christina Ricci), por quem se irá apaixonar.

The story of this movie occurs in 1799, when the investigator Ichabob Crane (Johnny Depp) is send to Sleppy Hollow to unravel a series of mysterious murders that have been happening there. All the victims were beheaded and everyone believed that the murderer was a war ex-combatant that every night returns from the forest to look for his head, lost in combat. That is what Ichabob will investigate, with Katrina Van Tessel (Christina Ricci), by who he'll fall in love.

Quem já viu a Lenda do Cavaleiro sem Cabeça? É um daqueles clássicos que conta com excelentes actores e merece ser visto claro. Tenham uma óptima semana e bons filmes!

Hoje é Domingo e venho falar-vos do filme que vi a semana passada. Arranjei um tempinho para ir ao cinema, que bom eheh! Fui ver o segundo filme do Thor, O mundo das trevas.

Today is Sunday and I come to talk about the movie I saw last week. I found some time to go to the movies, so good eheh! I went to see the second movie of Thor, The dark world.

No segundo filme de Thor, este luta para restabelecer a ordem em todo o universo, mas uma antiga raça liderada por Malekith regressa e quer mergulhar o universo nas trevas. Thor envolve-se assim numa aventura pessoal e perigosa, em que irá reunir-se mais uma vez com Jane Foster e irá forçá-lo a sacrificar tudo para salvar a humanidade.

In the second movie of Thor, he fights to reestablish order in the entire universe, but an old race leaded by Malekith returns and wants to evolve the universe in the darkness. Thor then evolves himself in a personal and danger adventure, in which he will reunite once again with Jane Foster and that will force him to sacrifice everything to save humanity.

Hello everyone!

Como já devem ter reparado quando começa a época de aulas fico com pouco tempo para ver filmes ou séries, mas às vezes eu e o meu namorado arranjamos um bocadinho para descansar e ver um filme, como aconteceu durante esta semana. Apetecia-nos ver uma comédia e escolhemos os Miúdos e Graúdos 2, pois já tinhamos visto o primeiro e este tinha saído do cinema há pouco tempo. Gostámos muito claro, não fôssemos os dois grandes fãs do Adam Sandler. Com ele uma bela risada é garantida! E claro também com os restantes actores do filme que são excelentes. 

As you already know when the classes begin I don't have a lot of time to watch movies or series, but sometimes me and my boyfriend find the time to rest and see a movie, like it happened this week. We wanted to see a comedy and we chose Grown Ups 2, because we had already seen the first one and this one had got out of the theaters not so long ago. We really enjoyed it, because we're really big fans of Adam Sandler. With him a laugh is guarantied! And of course with the other actors of the movie that are excellent too.

Passaram 3 anos desde que um grupo de velhos amigos passou um fim-de-semana a reflectir sobre o valor da amizade. Lenny volta a Los Angeles e na pequena cidade em que ele nasceu pode ter uma vida mais calma e pode dar aos seus próprios filhos o ambiente pacato e de proximidade que teve na sua infância. Mas claro que passados tantos anos muita coisa mudou e Lenny, Eric, Kirt e Marcus irão ter de dar o braço a torcer e admitir que têm muito que aprender com os mais novos.

It were 3 years since a group of old friends spent a weekend trying to reflect about the friendship value. Lenny returns to Los Angeles and in the little town where he was born he can have a relaxed life and can give to his own sons the peaceful and proximity environment that he had in his childhood. But of course that after so many years a lot has changed and Lenny, Eric, Kirt and Marcus will have to admit that they have a lot to learn with the youngest people.

Good morning everyone!

Depois de um dia preenchido ontem com uma entrevista e a visita à IN BEAUTY (podem ver tudo aqui), hoje venho então terminar a nossa semana com o filme que vi esta semana: Depois da Terra. Este filme esteve recentemente no cinema e conta com a participação de Will Smith e do seu filho Jaden Smith. Ambos têm uma participação muito importante no filme e tanto pai como filho são excelentes actores.

After a busy day yesterday with an interview and the visit to IN BEAUTY (you can see everything here), today I come finish our week with the movie I saw this week: After Earth. This movie was recently in the theaters and has the participation of Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. Both have a very important role in the movie and they are both amazing actors.

Após uma aterragem forçada, Kitai Raige e o seu lendário pai Cypher ficam presos na Terra, 1000 anos depois da Humanidade ter escapado de ataques cataclísmicos. Por Cypher estar gravemente ferido, tem de ser Kitai a embarcar numa perigosa viagem para pedir ajuda. Ele vai ter de enfrentar terrenos desconhecidos, espécies de animais que evoluiram para matar qualquer humano e uma criatura alienígena que escapou durante o acidente. Pai e filho vão ter de trabalhar em conjunto e confiar um no outro para poderem regressar a casa.

After a force landing, Kitai Raige and his legendary father Cypher get trapped in Earth, 1000 years after Humanity escaped from cataclysmic atacks. Because Cypher is badly injured, it has to be Katai that goes on a dangerous journey to ask for help. He's going to face unknown territories, animal species that evolved to kill any human being and an alien creature that escaped during the accident. Father and son will have to work together and trust in each other to be able to go back home.

Gostei muito do filme, não esperava que o filho do Will Smith fosse tão bom actor e o filme em si é muito interessante de ver. Já viram este filme leitores? O que acharam?

Hello everyone!

Como está a correr esse fim-de-semana? Muita chuva eu sei, mas pensem no lado bom: podem tirar as botas e os botins do armário eheh. Como tinha referido no facebook do blog (não se esqueçam de colocar gosto para seguirem) na sexta-feira fui ver O Mordomo, e como já estava à espera, o filme é EXCELENTE. Junta nomes conhecidissimos e actores muito bons, entre eles Cuba Gooding Jr., Forest Whitaker, James Marsden, Jane Fonda, John Cusack, Robin Williams, Lenny Kravitz, Vanessa Redgrave e Oprah Winfrey claro. O filme conta ainda com a pequena mas importante participação de Mariah Carey. A banda sonora do filme ficou a cargo do português Rodrigo Leão. Além de toda a história ser bastante interessante, o elenco é excepcional e é um filme que recomendo sem dúvida.
How's your weekend going? Raining a lot I know, but think about the good side: you can remove your boots and your ankle boots from the closet eheh. As I mentioned in the blog's facebook (don't forget to put a like to follow it) Friday I went to see The Butler, and as I expected, the movie is AMAZING. It joins well known names and very good actors, among them Cuba Gooding Jr., Forest Whitaker, James Marsden, Jane Fonda, John Cusack, Robin Williams, Lenny Kravitz, Vanessa Redgrave and Oprah Winfrey of course. The movie has the small participation of Mariah Carey, but still it's a very important role. The soundtrack was on charge of the portuguese Rodrigo Leão. Besides the entire story being very interesting, the plot is exceptional and it's definitely a movie I recommend.

 

  O filme é baseado em factos verídicos e conta a história de um mordomo negro (Cecil Gaines) que serviu 8 presidentes na Casa Branca, durante o período de 1952 e 1986. O filme traça todas as mudanças dramáticas que ocorreram durante esses anos, incluindo o movimento pelos Direitos Civis até à Guerra do Vietname, tendo estes acontecimentos marcado toda a família de Cecil.
The movie is based in true facts and tells the story of a black butler (Cecil Gaines) that served 8 Presidents at the White House, during the period of 1952 and 1986. The movie draws all the dramatic changes that happened during these years, including the movement for the Civil Rights until the Vietnam War. These events had changed the entire Cecil's family.

Esta semana vi alguns filmes mais recentes e que estiveram no cinema à pouco tempo: Mestres da Ilusão e Fuga do Planeta Terra.

This week I saw some recent movies that were in the theaters not so long ago: Now you see me and Escape from Planet Earth.  

Em Mestres da Ilusão, os chamados "Quatro Cavaleiros" (um grupo que reúne os maiores ilusionistas do mundo) estão a fugir de uma equipa de elite do FBI. Durante os seus espectáculos o grupo executa golpes arriscados e ousados e enfrenta os maiores líderes corruptos do mundo dos negócios e mesmo assim consegue sempre estar um passo à frente da lei.

In Now you see me, the so called "Four Knights" (a group that reunites the biggest illusionists of the world) are escaping from an elite team of FBI. During their shows the group performs risky and bold hits and faces the most corrupt leaders from the world of business and even so it always manages to be one step ahead of the law.

 No segundo filme, Scorch Supernova é o viajante espacial mais famoso do Planeta Baab. Com a ajuda do seu irmão super inteligente Gary, chefe do controlo de missão da AAEB, Scorch tornou-se uma lenda. Quando a estranha chefe da AAEB, Lena, intercepta um pedido de ajuda do Planeta Negro, Scorch aproveita a hipótese de tentar uma missão de salvamento que nunca foi feita antes. Sem a ajuda do seu irmão, Scorch faz a sua viagem e só mais tarde entende que foi atraído a uma armadilha mortal dirigida pelo General Shanker. Será Gary que o terá de ir salvar e é assim que se descobre um plano interplanetário que apenas o seu cérebro e os músculos de Scorch podem impedir.
In the second movie, Scorch Supernova is the most famous spacial traveler from Planet Baab. With the help of his super intelligent brother Gary, chief of mission control of AAEB, Scorch became a legend. When the strange chief of AAEB, Lena, discovers a request for help from the dark planet, Scorch enjoys the chance of trying a rescue that has never been done before. Without the help of his brother, Scorch makes his trip and only later he understands that he was drawn to a deadly trap guided by General Shanker. It will be Gary that will have to go save him and that's how an interplanetary plan is discovered that only his brain and Scorch muscles can stop.

O dia 1 é um dia especial para mim e este foi especial a dobrar. É o início de um novo mês, o aniversário do meu namoro e ainda vos dei a óptima notícia da companhia da Joana no blog. Foi um primeiro dia de Setembro cheio de coisas boas!

Day 1 is a special day for me and this one was even more special. It's the beginning of a new month, it's the anniversary of my relationship and I gave you the great new about Joana's company on the blog. It was a first day of September full of good things! 

Mas além de dia 1, é Domingo, por isso vamos lá aos filmes que vi esta semana: Nunca fui beijada, Sexto Dia e Efeitos Secundários.

But besides being day 1, it's Sunday, so let's go take a look at the movies I saw this week: Never Been Kissed, Sixth Day and Side Effects.

Em Nunca fui beijada, Josie (Drew Barrymore), de 25 anos, é uma redactora de um grande jornal. Ela pretende investir numa grande reportagem que pode ser a sua hipótese para se tornar repórter. Para isso tem de se disfarçar de aluna de secundário e vai tentar descobrir alguma história chocante da vida dos adolescentes. Ela acaba vivendo um pouco a sua própria adolescência outra vez, mas desta vez com novos acontecimentos que podem mudar a sua vida.

In Never Been Kissed, Josie (Drew Barrymore), of 25 years old, is an editor of a big newspaper. She wants to invest in a big feature that may be her change to become a reporter. To do that she has to dress up like a high school student and she will try to discover some choking story of teenager's life. She ends up living a little bit of her own adolescence again, but this time with new events that can change her life.

No filme Sexto Dia, Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger) é um piloto de helicópetros num futuro não muito distante. Ele irá descobrir que há uma pessoa no seu lugar a viver a sua vida, e o mais estranho é que essa pessoa é ele mesmo. Neste futuro é proibida a clonagem de seres humanos, o que é ainda mais estranho. Ele vai então descobrir quem está por detrás desta operação ilegal e acaba por descobrir que um famoso empresário da área médica está envolvido nesta trama.

In Sixth Day, Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is an helicopter pilot in a not so distant future. He will discover that there is someone in his place living his life, and the most awkward is that this person is himself. In this future is not allowed cloning human beings, what's even more awkward. He will then find out who's behind this illegal operation and ends up finding out that a famous businessman in the medical area is involved in the conspiracy.

Depois de ela se tentar suicidar, o psiquiatra Jonathan Banks (Jude Law) é chamado para consultar o caso de Emily, tratando-a com um novo medicamento, que é suposto acalmar os seus demónios. O que não se esperava é que esse medicamento tivesse efeitos secundários tão arrepiantes. E quem é o culpado das consequências do medicamento? É isso que Banks vai ficar obcecado em descobrir.

In Side Effects, Emily (Rooney Mara) and Martin Taylor (Channing Tatum) are a nice and healthy couple with a very successful life, until Martin gets arrested. Four years later his release is so overwhelming that Emily enters in a deep depression. After she tries killing herself, the shrink Jonathan Banks (Jude Law) is called to consult Emily's case, treating her with a new medicament, that is suppose to calm her demons. What wasn't expected is that this medicament would have so terrible side effects. And who's guilty from the medicament consequences? That's what Banks will be obsessed to find out.

O primeiro filme é uma comédia (Drew Barrymore faz-me sempre rir), o segundo um tipíco filme de acção (adoro o Schwarzenegger) e o último um drama (com grandes actores). Adorei todos os filmes, e recomendo muito o último, faz-nos realmente pensar no que os medicamentos podem fazer a uma pessoa e nos seus efeitos secundários. Já viram algum destes filmes?
The first movie is a comedy (Drew Barrymore always makes me laugh), the second is a typical action movie (I love Schwarzenegger) and the last one is a drama (with great actors as well). I loved all the movies, and I really recommend the last one, it really makes us think in what medicaments can do to a person and in their side effects. Have you seen any of these movies?

Boa noite a todos!

Good evening everyone!

Mais uma semana que passou e sem darmos por isso as férias estão a acabar. Hoje venho falar de um filme que vi durante a semana e que nem acredito que nunca tinha visto: Assalto ao Arranha-Céus. Eu nem sabia que este filme era o conhecido Die Hard (nome do filme em inglês), o que é normal porque os nomes não têm nada a ver e como tradutora chateia-me imenso a forma como se traduzem os nomes dos filmes hoje em dia.

Another week is gone and without noticing it the vacations are ending. Today I come to talk about a movie I saw during the week and that I don't believe I never saw before: Die Hard. I didn't even know that this movie was the known Die Hard (name of the movie in English; in portuguese is "Assalto ao Arranha-Céus"), what is normal because the names have nothing to do with each other and as a translator it really upsets me the way that the names of the movies are translated nowadays.

 O filme é protagonizado por Bruce Willis no papel de John McClane, que é um detective de Nova Iorque. É durante a época natalícia e num imponente arranha-céus em Los Angeles que a acção decorre e que se dá um ataque terrorista, no qual John se vê envolvido e vai ter de o resolver como um herói do cinema clássico.

 

O filme é antigo, de 1988, e é um tipíco filme de acção e suspense. Claro que o Bruce Willis representa o seu papel na perfeição e encaixa muito bem no seu papel. Já viram este filme? O que acharam?

The movie is old, from 1988, and it's a typical action and suspense movie. Of course that Bruce Willis represents his part perfectly and fits very good in his role. Have you seen this movie? What did you think?

Hoje é Domingo e uma semana de férias já passou. Mas amanhã tenho o meu amor comigo durante 2 dias e vai ser óptimo eheh. Vamos então aos filmes da semana? Esta semana vi Um Sonho Possível e Vigarista à vista.
Today it's Sunday and a week of vacation is already gone. But tomorrow I have my love with me for two days and it's going to be great eh eh. Let's take a look then at the movies of the week? This week I saw The Blind Side and Identity Thief.

Em Um Sonho Possível, Michael Oher é um adolescente que não tem casa nem ninguém que o ajude, até que um dia Leigh Anne Tuohy reconhece-o na rua como colega de escola da sua filha e insiste para que ele saia do frio e passe a noite em sua casa. Um acto de ternura e ajuda passa a ser muito mais, e Michael passa a fazer parte daquela família. O rapaz começa então a encontrar desafios diferentes e descobre a sua paixão por futebol americano. Graças a ele toda aquela família começa a descobrir mais um pouco sobre eles próprios. A história é baseada num caso real.

In The Blind Side, Michael Oher is a teenager that doesn't have a home or anyone that can help him, until one day Leigh Anne Tuohy recognizes him in the street as being her daughter's school college and insists that he needs to get out of the cold and spend the night at her house. A tenderness and helping act turns into something more, and Michael becomes part of that family. The boy starts to find different challenges and finds his passion for American Football. Thanks to him that family begins to discover something more about themselves. The story is based on a real case.

Já viram estes filmes? O que acharam? Eu achei o primeiro muito emotivo, com uma história linda e o segundo uma grande comédia e ambos contam com actores fantásticos, incluindo a Sandra Bullock e a Melissa McCarthy.
