Eu perdi o meu avô para o cancro, não foi da mama, foi do cérebro, mas ainda assim seja qual for o local em que ele aparece, ele leva tudo à frente e contra ele há pouco que possamos fazer. Mas ainda assim podemos ter cuidado com o que comemos e com o que fazemos ao nosso corpo, de forma a preveni-lo. A prevenção é muito importante e o meu coração está com todas as mulheres que já passaram ou estão a passar por esta doença neste preciso momento. 
I lost my grandfather for cancer, not breast, but brain cancer, but yet wherever the place it appears, it takes everything ahead and against it there is not much we can do. But still we can be careful with what we eat and with what we do to our body, so we can prevent it. Prevention is very important and my heart goes with all the women that had already been through this or are facing this disease right now.

Depois de vos ter falado da nova colecção da MAC, a The Matte Lip, a MAC decidiu lançar uma colecção completa de Outono, já que a anterior era mais virada para os lábios.

After I spoke here about the new collection from MAC, The Matte Lip Collection, MAC decided to launch a complete autumn collection, since the other was for the lips.

Para terminar a categoria de olhos, a marca decidiu também lançar uma nova máscara de pestanas. Esta é a Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash. Uma máscara de pestanas que vem com duas escovas num só produto. Uma para alongamento das pestanas e outra para dar volume.

My experience with: Zero White Whitening Pen by Whitening Lightning

Bom dia a todos! Como foi o vosso fim-de-semana? O meu agora é diferente do normal, é ao Domingo e à Segunda, pois trabalho aos Sábados. Mas tudo bem, consigo fazer tudo o que preciso nesses dois dias, incluindo dormir, namorar, escrever no blog, tratar da manicure e tratar de outros assuntos que surjam claro.

Morning everyone! How was your weekend? Mine now is different from normal, is Sundays and Mondays, because I work on Saturdays. But it's OK, I can do everything I need on those days, including sleeping, dating, write on the blog, do my mani and do some other stuff too of course.

O produto de que vos venho falar hoje já foi muito falado no mundo do youtube, e como ouvi tantas críticas positivas da parte de algumas youtubers que sigo, decidi arriscar e comprar uma para mim. Estou a falar da Caneta Branqueadora para os dentes da Whitening Lightning. Depois de muita pesquisa, e de ver bastantes vídeos sobre ela, como já referi, decidi finalmente comprá-la há cerca de 2 semanas atrás para poder comprovar o seu efeito.
The product I come to tell you about today has been mentioned a lot on the youtube world, and because I heard so many positive critics from some of the youtubers I follow, I decided to risk and buy one to myself. I'm talking about the Teeth Whitening Pen by Whitening Lightning. After a lot of research, and watching several videos about it, as I mentioned, I finally decided to buy it 2 weeks ago so I could prove its effect.

Como vocês sabem, porque sempre admiti isso por aqui, adorava ter os dentes mais brancos, mas também não os queria estragar com qualquer produto que existisse no mercado, por isso pesquisei muito e quando vi que havia à venda no Ebay por cerca de 20€ decidi arriscar. Foi um pouco saltar de cabeça para algo que não sabia se ia funcionar comigo ou se me ia estragar os dentes de alguma forma, mas por vezes tem de ser assim. 
As you guys know, because I've always admitted it around here, I would love to have whiter teeth, but I also didn't want to ruin them with any product that exists on the market, so I searched a lot and when I saw it was at sale at Ebay around 20€ I decided to risk. It was a little bit of a jump to the unknown because I didn't know if it would work with me or if it would ruin my teeth in some way, but sometimes we just have to risk it. 

Então, começando pelo início, existem duas versões desta caneta. Eu escolhi a que é indicada para dentes sensíveis (sem peróxidos e com branqueadores botânicos naturais), pois já sabia por experiência própria que os meus dentes ficam sensíveis com qualquer coisa (nem que seja uma escova de dentes mais dura do que o normal). A sua descrição diz que esta caneta não provoca sensibilidade nos dentes, não tem qualquer sabor (check!), é fácil de colocar, sem sujar nada (check!), e não destrói o esmalte ou estraga os dentes. Diz que remove quaisquer manchas dos dentes e deixa o sorriso mais branco e iluminado.
So, starting by the beginning, there are two versions of this pen. I chose the one that is suitable for sensitive teeth (without peroxides and with natural botanical whiteners), because I knew by previous experiences that my teeth get sensible with anything (even if it's only a harder toothbrush than normal). Its description says that this pen doesn't provoke sensitivity on the teeth, doesn't have a bitter taste (check!), it's easy to use, without any mess (check!), and doesn't destroy the enamel or ruins the teeth. It also says it removes any stains and leaves the smile whiter and sparkling.

Segundo as instruções, que segui à risca, antes de se usar a caneta deve-se lavar os dentes, secar os dentes com uma toalha ou um papel e aplicar a quantidade de produto desejada nos dentes (é como se estivessemos a pintar, é muito simples de colocar). Depois basta ficar a sorrir durante uns 60 segundos para o produto aderir aos dentes. Limpa-se o pincel e passado umas horas deve-se retirar o produto. Para ter efeito aconselham usar durante 14 dias seguidos, que foi o que eu fiz. 
According to the instructions, that I strictly followed, before using this pen you should wash your teeth, dry them with a towel or a tissue and apply the wanted quantity of product on your teeth (it's like painting, it's very simple). After that it's enough to smile wide for bout 60 seconds so the product can adhere. You clean the brush and after some hours you remove the product. To have the wanted effect they advise to use it for 14 days in a row, which was what I did.

Em geral eu gostei bastante dos resultados. Lembrando-me de como estavam os meus dentes e olhando para eles agora há uma diferença notável. Estão mais brancos, mas não noto que tenham ficado branqueados todos por igual, embora isso não se note a olhos vistos mas eu noto por serem os meus próprios dentes claro. Em relação à aplicação, é sem dúvida muito fácil e prática, basta aplicar antes de dormir e retirar de manhã. Quanto à parte da sensibilidade, ao longo dos 14 dias notei que por vezes as minhas gengivas estavam mais sensíveis, doendo até ao lavar os dentes. Não era nada insuportável, mas senti que realmente afecta as gengivas. Concluindo, acho que estava à espera de um branqueamento mais forte e notável (talvez tivesse as expectativas muito altas por tudo o que já tinha ouvido), mas ainda assim acho que os meus dentes estão mais brancos e talvez volte a usá-la, para obter ainda melhores resultados.
In general I really liked the results. Remembering how my teeth were and looking at them now there is a notable difference. They're whiter, but I can see they're not whitened evenly, although that can't be seen from afar but I notice it because they're my own teeth of course. Concerning the application, it's definitely very easy and practical, it's enough to apply it before going to bed and remove it in the morning. About the sensitivity part, through the 14 days I notice that sometimes my gums were more sensitive, hurting while brushing my teeth. There was nothing unbearable, but I felt it attacks the gums. Concluding, I think I was waiting for a stronger and powerful whitening result (maybe I had my expectations too high), but yet I think my teeth are whiter and I may use it again, so I can get better results.
