Nails of the week: Cherry Jubilee by AVON ❤️

Arranjar as unhas em casa era quase como uma terapia para mim, mas agora com menos tempo para isso prefiro recorrer ao salão e assegurar-me de que tenho sempre as unhas arranjadas, que é algo muito importante para mim e para o meu trabalho. Como tal, decidi começar a dar mais importância a unhas aqui no blog e irei começar a mostrar-vos os vernizes que uso semana a semana. Sim, porque lá por arranjar as unhas no salão continuo a usar os meus vernizes eheh.

Doing my mani at home was almost like a therapy for me, but now with less time to do it I prefer to go to the saloon and make sure that I always have my nails done, which is something very important to me and for my job. As such, I decided to start paying more attention to nails here on the blog and I'll start showing you the nail polishes I use every week. Yes, because even doing my nails on the saloon I still use my very own nail polishes eheh.

O verniz que usei a semana passada foi o Cherry Jubilee da AVON. A cor burgundy é super Outono/Inverno e eu adoro vê-la nas minhas unhas. A fórmula deste verniz é óptima, duas passagens são o suficiente para ficar opaco e tem uma duração fantástica. Estas fotografias foram tiradas ao terceiro dia e ainda não havia uma única lasca à vista e passado uma semana o brilho mantém-se e a cor permanece opaca. O que acham desta cor? Gostam dos vernizes da AVON?

The nail polish I used last week was the Cherry Jubilee by AVON. The burgundy is so Fall/Winter and I love seeing it on my nails.The formula is great, two coats are enough for it to look opaque and it has a great lasting power. These pictures were taken on day 3 and there was no chip at sight. After a week the shine is still the same and the color remains opaque. What do you think about this color? Apresento-vos o Pout Polish da Sleek Makeup! Esta é uma novidade da marca, como a própria diz é um “tinted lip conditioner”, ou seja, um hidratante labial com cor. 

I present to you the Pout Polish from Sleek Makeup! This is a new product from the brand, as it already says, it's a "tinted lip conditioner", or a lip balm with color. 

O meu é na cor 959 The Afterparty. Um rosa bem vivo e forte. Este potinho fantástico traz 4.5g de glamour. O Pout Polish tem também SPF 15, o que é fantástico para o Verão e até mesmo para estes dias quentes que se avizinham. 

Mine is in the color 959 The Afterparty. A vivid and strong pink. This fantastic little pot brings 4.5g of glamour. The Pout Polish also has SPF 15 which is great for summer and even for these hot days ahead.

I now show you in more detail this fantastic product. 

Fiz um swatch para que possam ver melhor como este produto é pigmentado. Aquele brilho visível da foto é devido à sua característica hidratante. O produto é muito suave, fácil de espalhar e bastante cremoso. 

I made a swatch so you can see better how this product is so pigmented. That shine that is visible on the picture is due to its moisturizing effect. The product is very soft, easy to spread and very creamy. 

Mostro-vos então como fica nos lábios. Um tom rosado lindo e com um ligeiro brilho. A sensação de hidratação perdura por imenso tempo, assim como a cor. 

I then show you how it looks on the lips. A beautiful pink, with a slight glow. The hydration feeling lasts for a long time, as well as the color. 

Pode ser aplicado com um pincel ou mesmo com o dedo. Eu aplico directamente com o dedo, assim o produto aquece um pouco e a sua pigmentação fica mais forte. 

It can be applied with a brush or even with the finger. I apply it directly with the finger, so the product warms up a bit and the pigmentation is stronger. 

E depois de algumas horas a utilizar o Pout Polish é assim que fica nos lábios. Um tom rosa lindo e um pouco de brilho. A hidratação, essa permanece por horas. Estou a amar este produto! É muito prático de utilizar no dia a dia. 

And after a few hours using the Pout Polish, this is how it looks on the lips. A gorgeous pink tone and a little bit of shine. The hydration remains for hours. I'm loving this product! It’s very practical to use on a day to day basis.

Restaurant week: Restaurante Monserrate in Sintra

Morning everyone!

Esta semana está a decorrer a Restaurant Week. O ano passado já queria ter ido mas não tive a oportunidade, por isso este ano agarrei no meu amor e Sábado lá fomos nós jantar fora. Escolhemos o Restaurante Monserrate, que faz parte do Hotel Tivoli de Sintra. Além da vista magnífica e da beleza de Sintra, que me fascina sempre que lá vou, o jantar foi delicioso e atendimento muito cuidado e personalizado. Pagámos muito menos do que se fossemos lá num dia normal e comemos muito bem, num ambiente acolhedor e simpático. Se tiverem oportunidade experimentem a Restaurant week esta semana em Lisboa e depois no Porto.

This week is the Restaurant Week. Last year I wanted to go but I didn't have the chance, so this year I convinced my love and Saturday we went out for dinner. We chose the Monserrate restaurant, that belongs to the Hotel Tivoli in Sintra. Besides the magnificent view and the beauty of Sintra, that always fascinates me when I go there, the entire dinner was delicious and the service was very personalized. We payed less than if we had gone there on a normal day and we ate so good, on a very cozy and nice environment. If you have the chance go try the Restaurant week this week in Lisbon and then in Porto.

Como era um jantar romântico e num local tão bonito, eu queria levar algo especial e elegante mas ainda assim confortável porque iamos passear um bocadinho por Sintra antes do jantar, por isso saltos estavam fora de questão! Acabei por escolher uns jeans básicos, uma blusa na cor burgundy (uma das minhas cores favoritas para o Outono/Inverno) e o meu colete de pêlo, uma grande tendência que voltou este ano, e que serviu para me aquecer o suficiente durante a noite. Uma das minhas últimas compras foram estas botas de cano alto pelo joelho, outra grande tendência este Inverno. Além de serem lindas e super confortáveis, têm uma cor caramelo que eu adoro e imensos detalhes. E foram compradas numa feira local, por vezes encontram-se grandes achados onde menos se espera!

Because it was a romantic dinner and in such a beautiful place, I wanted to wear something special and elegant, but yet comfortable because we would walk around Sintra before dinner, so heels were out of question! I ended up choosing some basic jeans, a burgundy blouse (one of my favorite colors for Fall/Winter) and my fur vest, a great trend that has returned this year, and that kept me warm enough during the night. One of my latest acquisitions were these high-knee boots, another great trend this Winter. Besides being beautiful and super comfortable, they have a caramel color that I love and a lot of details. And they were bought on a local market, sometimes we really can find some bargains where we least expect!
