Em Outubro eu e a Ana fomos à In Beauty – Expocosmética. É uma feira de produtos de cosmética, unhas, maquilhagem, tratamentos de corpo, basicamente o mundo de uma mulher. E foi na expocosmética de Lisboa que tive conhecimento desta marca de que vos venho falar hoje. A Mica Beauty Cosmetics! Esta marca de maquilhagem é 100% portuguesa e 100% natural! Todos os produtos de maquilhagem são de origem mineral, promovendo assim a saúde e bem estar da pele. Fantástico não é?

In October Ana and I went to In Beauty - Expocosmética. It's a market about cosmetics, nails, makeup, body treatments, basically a woman's world. And it was in the Expocosmética in Lisbon that I got to know this brand that I'll talk about today. Mica Beauty Cosmetics! This makeup brand is 100% Portuguese and 100% natural! All the cosmetic products have mineral origin, thus promoting the health and well being of the skin. Fantastic isn’t it?

No stand da Mica Beauty Cosmetics tudo saltava à vista! E como sou viciada em maquilhagem (sim, eu admito!), não resisti em passar por lá e ficar a conhecer a marca. A marca pertence a uma figura pública portuguesa, já bastante conhecida pelos portugueses, a Mónica Sofia, que é também a imagem da marca.

In the Mica Beauty Cosmetics stand everything was calling for our attention! And since I’m a makeup addict (yes, I admit!), I couldn’t resist to go there and get to know the brand. The brand belongs to a Portuguese public figure, already well known by the Portuguese, Mónica Sofia, who is also the brand's image.

Fomos muito bem recebidas pela Mónica, que falou connosco, deu-nos a conhecer a sua marca e definitivamente nos cativou. Fiquei fascinada quando ela pegou numa sombra, misturou com um gloss transparente e fez um batom rosa lindo! Foi aí que fiquei encantada. Com esta maquilhagem, quase que podemos fazer magia!

We were very well received by Mónica, who talked with us, introduced us her brand and definitely captivated us. I was fascinated when she picked up a shadow, mixed it with a transparent gloss and made a beautiful pink lipstick! It was then that I was delighted. With this makeup, we can almost make magic!

A Mónica foi só a doçura em pessoa! E no final da nossa visita, deu-nos a escolher uma sombra da Mica Beauty Cosmetics. Eram todas lindas e acreditem que a escolha foi mesmo muito difícil.

Mónica was just so sweet! And in the end of our visit, she let us choose an eye shadow from Mica Beauty Cosmetics. They were all beautiful and believe me when I say that the choice was really difficult.

Eu escolhi uma sombra e a Ana escolheu outra, e é disso que vos vou agora falar!

I chose a shadow and Ana chose another one, and that's what I'll talk about now!

As sombras são ambas lindas! Como são sombras minerais, são sombras em pó, o que faz com que se gastem menos do que as sombras normais compactas. Eu escolhi uma sombra castanha com um subtom bronze, já sabem que sou mais de tons neutros, não é? A Ana escolheu uma sombra rosa com um subtom coral, é linda! E ela pode usá-la como sombra e se a misturar com um gloss ou hidratante labial tem também um batom.

The eye shadows are both beautiful! As minerals shadows, they are powder eye shadows, which makes possible to spend less product than the normal compact shadows. I chose a brown shade with a bronze undertone, you know that I am a more neutral tone kind of girl, right? Ana chose a pink shade with a coral undertone, it's beautiful! And she can use it as a shadow or mix it with a gloss or a lip balm and also have a lipstick.

As sombras são de uma pigmentação estrondosa! Aderem muito facilmente à pele e apesar de serem sombras em pó não são nada poeirentas. A sua duração é qualquer coisa de extraordinária. Eu tenho pele oleosa e quando aplico esta sombra, fica intacta na minha pálpebra por imenso tempo.

The eye shadows have an amazing pigmentation! They adhere to the skin very easily and although they are powder shadows, they aren't dusty at all. Their duration is something extraordinary. I have oily skin and when I apply this shadow it stays intact in my eyelid for a very long time.

Para terem uma ideia da pigmentação destas meninas, fiz-vos um swatch. Nesta foto, as sombras foram aplicadas directamente na pele sem qualquer tipo de preparação da mesma ou primer. E como podem ver, são só assim fantásticas!

So you can get an idea of the pigmentation of these babies, I made you a swatch. In this photo the shadows are applied directly to the skin without any primer or skin preparation. As you can see, they are just fantastic!

Não deixem de conhecer esta marca de maquilhagem, pois é realmente fantástica! É verdade que demorei para trazer esta review, mas entre Moda Lisboa, o trabalho e alguns problemas com a minha máquina fotográfica foi complicado. Mas mais vale tarde do que nunca!
Be sure to visit this makeup brand, it’s really fantastic! It’s true that it took me a while to bring this review, but between Lisbon Fashion Week, work and some problems with my camera it was complicated. But better late than never!

E estamos de volta a Londres! Hoje quero mostrar-vos por onde andámos no segundo dia. O objectivo era começar bem cedo pela Torre de Londres, mas a caminho encontrámos este monumento lindo, rodeado por um jardim, que é como um lugar sagrado, em que as paredes estão cheias dos nomes de pessoas que morreram na guerra. Arrepiante pensar que todas aquelas pessoas morreram e estão ali eternizadas. Era o Tower Hill Memorial.

And we're back in London. Today I want to show you where we went on the second day. The goal was to head really early to the Tower of London, but on the way there we found this beautiful monument, surrounded by a garden, which is like a holy place, in which all the walls are full of names from people who died at war. Amazing to think that all those people died and are immortalized in there. That was the Tower Hill Memorial.

Depois disso seguimos então para a Torre de Londres, onde já se podia ver a tão conhecida Tower Bridge, e que é realmente fantástica. Mesmo estando o dia cinzento, a vista do cimo da torre vale muito a pena. Ali mesmo ao lado está atracado o HMS Belfast, que também visitámos sem pensar duas vezes e ainda bem, pois lá dentro é como se estivéssemos mesmo a navegar com todas as cenas do dia-a-dia possíveis e imaginárias dentro de um barco totalmente recriadas.

After that we went to the Tower of London, where we could already see the so famous Tower Bridge, and which is really amazing. Even being such a cloudy day, the view from the top of the bridge is totally worth it. Right next to it is the HMS Belfast, which we also visited without thinking twice and I'm glad we did it, because inside it's like we were really navigating with all the possible and imaginary daily scenes on a boat totally recreated.

De seguida passámos pela Southwark Cathedral e foi então que inesperadamente encontrámos o Borough Market. Ficámos rendidos à energia daquele mercado. Desde às pessoas, à apresentação das bancadas e ao aspecto da comida. Aiii a comida! De comer e chorar por mais acreditem! Foi lá que decidimos parar para almoçar umas belas fish and chips claro :)

Next we went by the Southwark Cathedral and it was then that we unexpectedly found the Borough Market. We were surrendered to the energy of that market. From the people, to the presentation, to the food. Ohhh the food! It was there that we decided to stop for lunch and eat some fish and chips of course :)

Durante a tarde fomos até ao Imperial War Museum. Se alguma vez lá forem não podem perder a parte da Segunda Guerra Mundial e a reconstrução em ponto pequeno do campo de Auschwitz, que está simplesmente espectacular. Finalmente depois disto terminámos o dia em grande com o Big Ben, um passeio de barco pelo rio e uma voltinha no London Eye. Não tenho palavras para descrever o Big Ben, é simplesmente de cortar a respiração e não há uma foto em que ele não fique bem e no seu maior esplendor! O melhor de toda a viagem sem dúvida. LINDO! E isto é o que eu chamo de um dia perfeito, o resto acho que as imagens falam por si...

In the afternon we went to the Imperial War Museum. If you ever go there don't miss the World War II part and the reconstruction in miniature of the Auschwitz camp, which is simply amazing. Finally after all this we finished off the day with the Big Ben, a cruise on the river and a spin on the London Eye. I don't have words to describe the Big Ben, it is simply breathtaking and there isn't a single picture in which it doesn't look good and with its biggest magnificence. Definitely the best part from the entire trip. BEAUTIFUL! And this is what I call a perfect day, the rest I think the pictures speak for themselves...
