Dublin Day II

Morning everyone!

Antes de mais espero que o vosso fim-de-semana tenha sido bom e desejo-vos uma óptima semana! E hoje vamos até ao segundo dia em Dublin. O dia começou bem cedo na prisão Kilmainham Gaol. A visita a esta prisão antiga faz-se com um guia a acompanhar, e ainda bem, pois é muito mais interessante, e arrepiante até, passar por todos aqueles corredores e todas aquelas celas e imaginar as pessoas que ali viveram durante anos sem as mínimas condições e ouvir todas as curiosidades que o guia tinha para contar. Mesmo ali ao lado fomos até ao Phoenix Park. Um dos parques mais bonitos que já vi e o mais calmo também, porque se vimos uma ou duas pessoas já foi muito ahah. Mas ainda assim valeu a pena pela serenidade que nos transmitiu. Ainda mais com o dia espectacular que estava!

First of all I really hope your weekend was amazing and I wish you a great week! And today I'll show you the second day in Dublin. The day started really early in the Kilmainham Gaol prison. The visit to this prison is made with a guide, and I'm glad it is, because it's so much more interesting, and terrifying also, to walk through all those corridors and all those cells and imagine all the people who lived there for years without any conditions and to hear the curiosities that the guide had to tell us. Right next to it we went to the Phoenix Park. One of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen and the quietest also, because if we saw one or two people it was already too much ahah. But yet it was worth it by the serenity it transmitted us. And even more with the amazing day that it was!

De seguida fomos ao Museu Collins Barracks, um pequeno museu militar, e depois à tão esperada Guinness Storehouse! Que experiência incrível! No final da visita sem dúvida que se bebe uma guinness com outra perspectiva. Todo o percurso lá dentro está fantástico, cheio de interactividade e explicações originais. Sem dúvida uma passagem obrigatória quando se vai a Dublin. E mesmo não sendo fã de cerveja, que é exactamente o meu caso. Outro local que também adorei em Dublin, foi a Dublinia. A Dublinia é uma espécie de mini cidade dos Vikings. Achei a ideia super original e diverti-me imenso a conhecer a história dos antigos Vikings. Depois passámos pela St. Catherine's Church, pelo Dublin Castle e terminámos o dia na rua mais conhecida (e movimentada) de Dublin, a O'Connel Street.

Next we went to the Collins Barracks Museum, a small military museum, and then to the so long awaited Guinness Storehouse! What an amazing experience! In the end of the visit you surely drink a guinness with another perspective. The entire journey inside is amazing, full of interactivity and original explanations. Definitely a demanding passage when visiting Dublin. And even it you're not a fan of beer, like me. Another place I really loved in Dublin was Dublinia. Dublinia is like a small Vikings town. I thought the idea was super original and I had a lot of fun meeting the history of the old Vikings. Then we pass by the St. Chaterine's Church, by the Dublin Castle and we finished our day in the most known (and crowded) street from Dublin, the O'Connel Street.

Dublin Day I

Bom dia Sexta-Feira!

Morning Friday!

Espero que a vossa semana tenha corrido bem. Hoje vou começar a mostrar-vos as fotos da nossa viagem a Dublin. Juro que nunca pensei que existissem tantas diferenças entre Londres e Dublin! São duas cidades completamente diferentes em tudo! As maiores diferenças que notei foram sem dúvida no povo e na cidade em si (limpeza, arrumação, edifícios, etc). Porém, embora tenha ficado apaixonada por Londres, Dublin é uma cidade cheia de história para conhecer e monumentos lindos para visitar. E claro, a melhor parte, pude matar as saudades todas do meu maninho, que para quem não sabe está a viver em Dublin, e ainda passear pela cidade com ele e com o meu amor.

I really hope your week went well. Today I'll start showing you the pictures from our trip to Dublin. I swear I never thought there were so many differences between London and Dublin! They are two completely different cities! The biggest differences I noticed were definitely the people and the city itself (cleaning, organization, buildings, etc). However, although I completely fell in love with London, Dublin is a city full of history and beautiful monuments to visit. And of course, the best part was being with my brother. For those who don't know, he lives in Dublin now, and also walk around the city with him and my love.

E no primeiro dia quando chegámos a Dublin pousámos as malas em casa do meu irmão, almoçámos, fizemos umas compras e decidimos ir dar a primeira volta pela cidade. E como passear com um guia privado é outra coisa (o meu irmão claro!), passámos pelos locais mais importantes da cidade e entrámos em algumas exposições pelo caminho. Não conseguimos entrar em nada de especial nesse dia pois era feriado em Dublin e estava tudo fechado. Mas ainda assim, com o tempo maravilhoso que estava esse primeiro passeio foi perfeito para conhecermos os caminhos que iriamos ter de fazer nos dias seguintes (tudo a pé, porque em Dublin não há metro e nós não apanhámos autocarros).

And on the first day when we arrived to Dublin we dropped our bags at my brother's house, had lunch, made some shopping and decided to go around the city for the first time. And because traveling with a personal guide is something very different (aka, my brother)  we went to the most important places in the city and saw some exhibitions on the way there. We didn't get to see anything special that day because it was a holiday there and everything was closed. But yet, with that amazing weather this first walk was perfect to get to know all the paths we would have to make on the following days (all on foot, because in Dublin there is no metro and we didn't catch any bus).

Hoje trago-vos uma review! Mas não é uma review qualquer, é de um produto que a nossa Ana me trouxe de Dublin! 

Today I bring you a review! But it's not any review, it's from a product that our Ana brought me from Dublin! 

Nas férias da Páscoa a Ana viajou para Londres e Dublin e claro que eu tinha de aproveitar e pedi-lhe para me trazer umas coisinhas de maquilhagem. Os produtos que a Ana me trouxe vieram todos da Boots de Dublin. 

On Spring holidays Ana traveled to London and Dublin and of course that I had to ask her to bring me some makeup stuff. The products that Ana brought me are all from one of the Boots in Dublin.

O produto em questão é uma máscara de pestanas, esta é a Big Fake Curves da Collection, uma marca de que tenho ouvido falar imenso através das minhas youtubers favoritas. Esta marca ainda não é comercializada em Portugal, por isso amei ter um “artigo exclusivo”. 

The product in question is a mascara, this is the Big Fake Curves by Collection, a brand that I have heard a lot from my favorite youtubers. This brand is not in Portugal yet, so I loved having an "exclusive product". 

O que fez a Ana ter a certeza de que eu ia adorar esta máscara foi a sua escova particularmente diferente. Confesso que sou louca por máscaras de pestanas que tenham escovas diferentes! Esta é num formato de “bolha” e toda em borracha, o que torna a aplicação mais fácil, assim como o seu manuseamento. 

What made Ana think that I would love this mascara was its particularly different brush. I confess that I’m crazy about mascaras that have different brushes! This one has a “bubble” format and is all in rubber, which makes the application and its handling a lot easier. 

Mas vocês já sabem que eu não vos deixo apenas com uma simples descrição! Mostro-vos agora como é que esta menina se comporta em acção. 

But you already know that I’ll never leave with just a simple description! Now I show you how this girl behaves in action. 

E mais uma vez aqui estou eu de cara lavada unicamente para vocês, o que eu não faço pelos nossos leitores! Este é o aspecto das minhas pestanas sem qualquer tipo de produto.

And here I am again with my face washed, what I don’t do for our readers! This is the look of my eyelashes without any kind of product. 

Depois de apenas duas aplicações desta fantástica máscara de pestanas este é o aspecto das minhas pestanas. Adorei o resultado! A consistência do produto é exactamente como eu gosto, não é muito liquido nem muito seco. Não confere volume às pestanas, mas separa-as bem e dá-lhes um alongamento lindo com aquele efeito curvado como eu adoro. 

After two coats of this fantastic mascara, this is the look of my eyelashes. I loved the result! The consistency of the product is exactly as I like, it's not too liquid or too dry. It doesn’t give volume to the eyelashes, but separates them well and gives them a beautiful stretch with that curved effect that I love. 

Estou mesmo a amar esta máscara de pestanas! Tenho-a utilizado todos os dias e adoro-a! A sua durabilidade é fantástica, chego ao final do dia com as pestanas enormes e curvadas. Adorooo! 

I'm really loving this mascara! I use it every day and I love it! Its durability is fantastic, I arrive to the end of the day with big and curved eyelashes. I love that!
