What's coming... Fall/Winter 2015-2016

Eu sei que para alguns deve ser difícil reconhecer que o Verão está a chegar ao fim e que estamos novamente a chegar ao Outono/Inverno. Para mim não me custa nada, porque como já vos confessei aqui muitas vezes, adoro tudo o que o Outono/Inverno nos trás (a moda, o frio, o natal, o começo de um novo ano, e muito mais). Posto isto, chegou então aquela altura de pesquisar que nem uma louca sobre as novas tendências que aí vêm. E é isso mesmo que vos venho mostrar hoje.

I know that for some of you it must be hard to recognize that Summer is coming to an end and that we are getting closer to Fall and Winter once again. For me is not hard, because like I told you here before, I love everything that Fall and Winter bring us (fashion, the cold, Christmas, the beginning of a new year, and so much more) So, here comes the time of searching like crazy about the new trends that are coming. And that's what I want to show you today.

Este ano vamos ter de tudo um pouco, isso é certo. Desde o estilo mais feminino e doce, ao estilo mais gótico e irreverente, as passarelas mostraram-nos que não há limites na moda e ter imaginação é que conta.

This year we'll have a little bit of everything. From the more feminine and sweet, to the more gothic and irreverent, the runways have shown us that there are no limits in fashion and we only have to use our imagination.

Punk

Esta é uma tendência que vem desde os anos 70, uma altura de revolução de costumes e atitudes e, claro, da moda. A pele e o vinil são os protagonistas nesta tendência, conjugados com muitas aplicações metálicas. 

This is a trend that comes from the 70s, a time of revolution of customs and attitudes and, of course, fashion. Leather and vinyl are the main characters in this trend, coordinated with a lot of metallic applications. 

Glam

O estilo mais glam vem contrastar com o lado mais boémio e descontraído da moda. Nesta tendência vamos encontrar a roupa mais sexy e feminina, com brilhantes e silhuetas marcadas. O lurex, a organza, os sablés, as malhas, os pailletes e os tecidos metalizados são de grande importância para incorporar esta tendência. Não se esqueçam das franjas, dos plissados, dos grandes decotes e das transparências claro. 

A glam look makes a contrast with the more bohemian and relaxed side of fashion. In this trend we will find the most sexy and feminine clothing, with sparkle and marked silhouettes. Lurex, organza, sables, jersey, pailletes and metalized fabrics have a great importance when incorporating this trend. Don't forget the fringes, pleatings and transparencies of course.

Bohemian

Os ponchos e os kaftans já não são uma estreia, pois no Inverno passado já se usaram. Mas agora aparecem reinventados num estilo boémio, que se caracteriza pela abundância de camurça, pêlo, franjas, estampados de flores e de animais, croché, patchwork, vestidos compridos e coletes. Para complementar, botins e chapéus.

Ponchos and kaftans are not a surprise here, because last Winter they were used already. But now they appear reinvented in a more bohemian style, which is characterized by the abundance of suede, wool, flower and animal prints, crochet, patchwork, long dresses and vests. To complement, boots and hats.

White

Há muito que o branco deixou de ser utilizado exclusivamente no Verão. No Inverno, o branco é sinónimo de elegância e sofisticação. Os looks totais são a grande aposta, mas pode-se usar o branco também numa peça isolada. As rendas, as malhas, o pêlo e a seda tingiram-se de branco e podem ser usados durante todo a estação fria.

White is no longer used specifically in Summer. In Winter, white is a symbol of elegance and sophistication. Total white looks are a great bet, but it can also be used in one piece only. Lace, jersey, wool and silk were dyed white and now can be used through the entire season.

Gothic

Este ano o gótico expressa-se através dos veludos, das rendas, dos tules, das peles, das luvas e das jóias em metal. As golas vêm mais subidas, os vestidos mais compridos, as assimetrias mais acentuadas e os volumes mais exagerados. Tudo para uma tendência que também pode ser sensual e moderna.

Gothic can also have a romantic side. This year it's going to be expressed through velvet, lace, tulle, leather, gloves and metal jewelry. Turtle necks are higher, dresses are longer, asymetries are bigger and volumes are exaggerated. Everything for a trend that can also be sexy and modern.

Masculine

Os fatos completos com corte masculino estão de volta, e vieram para ficar. Juntamente com as calças curtas, os coletes, os sobretudos, os blusões e as peças de inspiração militar, este ano temos tudo para parecer que fomos ao armário dele por engano.

Masculine suits are back, and they're here to stay. With short trousers, vests, overcoats, jackets and military-inspired pieces, this year we have everything we need to look like we went to his closet by mistake.

Pastels

Esta deve ser a minha tendência preferida! Já foi vista o Inverno passado e usou-se também durante o resto do ano. Os tons pastéis podem e devem ser usados nas estações mais frias. Claro que este ano os estilistas tornaram esta tendência um pouco mais irreverente, e não tão inocente, com materiais mais audazes e silhuetas super femininas. Podem apostar no bege, no cor-de-rosa, no azul bebé, no lilás e no amarelo à vontade!

This must be my favorite trend ever! It was seen last Winter and it was used for the rest of the year. Pastel tones can and should be used in the cooler seasons. Of course this year stylists made this trend a little bit edgier, and not so inocent, with daring materials and super feminine silhouettes. You can wear beige, pink, soft blue and yellow as you wish!

Minimalism

Less is more. Já ouviram dizer com certeza. O minimalismo nunca foi tão visível como hoje em dia. Os estilistas quiseram voltar à simplicidade através de linhas e silhuetas fluídas. Os vestidos querem-se mini ou maxi,  as calças querem-se largas, direitas e abaixo do joelho, as camisolas querem-se compridas sobrepostas com calças ou saias compridas e os casacos têm de ter um corte direito. 

Less is more. I'm sure you've heard it by now. Minimalism has never been so visible as nowadays. Stylists wanted to return to the simplicity of old days with fluid lines and silhouettes. Dresses must be mini or maxi, trousers must be large, straight and under the knee, jumpers must be longer with trousers or long skirts underneath and coats must have a straight cut.

Estou de férias na minha terra natal, por isso é provável que os meus posts não sejam tão frequentes, mas darei o meu melhor!

I'm on holidays in my hometown, so maybe my posts are not going to be as frequent, but I’ll try my best!

Hoje trago-vos uma review! E claro que tinha de ser de batons! Estes são dois batons da gama de maquilhagem lançada pela Primark.

Today I bring you a review! Of course it had to be about lipsticks! These are two lipsticks from the makeup range launched by Primark.

São dois batons bastante diferentes. Um é um coral com um subtom rosado, uma cor bem vibrante e que só me faz lembrar o verão. O outro é um rosa claro, uma cor mais fria, mas que também fica linda numa pele mais bronzeada.

These are two very different lipsticks. One is a coral with a pink undertone, a very vibrant color that reminds me of summer. The other is a light pink, a cooler tone, but also looks beautiful in a more tanned skin.

Este é o coral! Como podem ver pela foto é um batom coral, mas com um subtom rosa. É uma cor bem vibrante, pois adoro utilizar os lábios coloridos no Verão! Este é o Pink Fizz!

This is the coral lipstick! As you can see on the picture it's a coral lipstick, but with a pink undertone. It's a very vibrant color, because I love using colored lips in summer! This is Pink Fizz!

 

Este é o segundo batom, apesar de ter sido o primeiro que comprei, daí não ter nome, pois só agora é que a Primark optou por este sistema de identificação de cores. É uma cor mais fria, um rosa pálido, mas também muito bonito e feminino.

This is the second lipstick, even though it was the first one that I bought, it doesn’t have a name, because only now Primark started this identification system. It is a cooler tone, a pale pink, but also very pretty and feminine.

Este é o Pink Fizz! Como podem ver é uma cor linda! A sua pigmentação é muito boa, tal como a sua durabilidade. É muito fácil de espalhar, pois tem uma textura cremosa apesar do seu acabamento ser mate. Dos dois, este é o meu favorito!

This is the Pink Fizz! As you can see it has a beautiful color! The pigmentation is very good, as its durability. It’s very easy to spread it, it has a creamy texture despite the matte finish. This is my favorite! 

Este é o batom rosa claro! A sua cor é também muito bonita, apesar de ser mais discreta. Tem um subtom nude, o que é muito prático, pois é mais fácil de conjugar com o resto da maquilhagem. É também de longa duração e de acabamento mate. É um pouco mais difícil de aplicar, pois a sua textura é mais seca, mas a sua durabilidade é muito boa.

This is the light pink lipstick! The color is also very beautiful, although more discrete. It has a nude undertone, which is very practical as it’s easier to combine with the rest of the makeup. It's also long lasting and has a matte finish. It's a little more difficult to apply than the last one, because its texture is drier, but its durability is very good.

Ambos os batons são bons e pelo preço estou bastante contente. A pigmentação é muito boa, assim como a durabilidade do produto. As embalagens são de plástico, mas com um toque sofisticado, pois têm um dourado metálico. Vêm também com um excelente aroma!

Both lipsticks are good and for the price I'm quite happy. The pigmentation is very good, as the durability of the product. The packaging is in plastic, but with a sophisticated touch, because they have a golden metallic tone. They also have an excellent smell!

Triple Action Cleansing Water by Sephora

Hi everyone!

Desculpem não dar notícias há tanto tempo, parece que não escrevo no blog há séculos! Mas infelizmente, tanto para mim como para a Joana, tem sido difícil coordenar o trabalho com o blog. Para mim pessoalmente custa-me sair do trabalho às 20h/21h e vir escrever no blog. Sou sincera, quando chego a casa só quero comer, tomar um banho e ir para a cama. E no fim-de-semana é quando temos tempo para algum descanso e para aproveitar o sol e o verão. Mas hoje arranjei um tempinho para vir escrever, até porque queria muito vir falar-vos de um novo produto que experimentei.

Sorry for being missing for so long, it seems like I've been away for centuries! Unfortunately, for me and Joana, it has been hard to coordinate our jobs with the blog. For me personally is hard to get out of work around 8/9 pm and come write on the blog. I'm being honest here, when I get home I just want to eat, take a shower and go to bed. And the weekends are the only time we have to get some rest and enjoy the sun and the summer. But today I got some time to come write, because I really wanted to tell you about a new product that I have been trying.

Na minha última visita à Sephora (lembram-se desta paleta que comprei lá nos saldos?), encontrei a Água Micelar da Sephora. Começo já por dizer que não se compara à Àgua Micelar da Garnier por exemplo, que é uma das minhas favoritas (aqui por exemplo). Porém, desempenha bem a sua função. A embalagem é grande (400 ml), muito prática e fácil de usar, basta colocar o algodão em cima, pressionar, e o produto sai facilmente. Costumo utilizar para a maquilhagem dos olhos e sai bastante bem, mas é preciso cuidado para não exagerar, pois em excesso pode arder bastante nos olhos. Fiquei contente com este produto, já tinha ouvido falar tanto dele pela internet e estava curiosa em experimentar. Porém, penso que não vale o seu preço (14,90€), pois neste momento já existem no mercado muitas opções que são melhores e até mais baratas.
On my last trip to Sephora (do you remember this palette I bought there on sale?), I found the Triple Action Cleansing Water by Sephora. Let me start by saying that there is no comparison to the Micellar Water by Garnier for example, which is one of my favorites (here). However, it works well enough. The package is big (400 ml), very practical and easy to use, you place a cotton round on top of it, you press it, and the product comes out very easily. I usually use it for the eyes and the makeup comes off very well but you have to be careful not to exxagerate, because when in excess it can burn your eyes very badly. I was happy with this product, I had heard so many things about this product around the internet and I was curious to try it. However, I don't think it's worth the price (14,90€), because right now there are so many options on the market that are better and a lot cheaper.
