NEW IN: Nike Roshe One

Se há algo com que sou bastante esquisita é com ténis. Não costumo usar muito ténis fora do ginásio, sou sincera, mas ainda assim adoro essa tendência e adoro ver em outras pessoas quando conjugados com o outfit certo. Para tentar contrariar isso e tentar usá-los mais no dia-a-dia, andei à procura dos ténis perfeitos durante algum tempo, uns que fossem confortáveis claro, simples, mas coloridos sem dar demasiado nas vistas.

If there is something that I'm very picky about is sneakers. Honestly, I don't usually use them outside the gym, but I still love this trend and I love to see them in other people when matched with the right outfit. To try to fight that and try to use them more during the day, I was searching for the perfect sneakers for a while, they had to be comfortable of course, simple, but colorfoul without being too extragant.

Depois de muita procura e de dizer não e fazer cara feia à maior parte dos que via online e nas lojas, finalmente me decidi pelos Nike Roshe One. Adoro-os! Além de serem super confortáveis (são Nike, nem preciso de dizer nada não é?), estou apaixonada pelas cores e pelo facto da sola ser branca e bastante simples (um dos meus requisitos principais: a sola!). Já os tenho usado para fazer exercício e não tenho qualquer razão de queixa. Agora vamos ver quando é que os levo à rua a passear, sem ser para o ginásio :)

After a lot of search, saying no and making ugly faces to most of what I saw online and in the shops, I finally chose the Nike Roshe One. I love them! Besides being super comfortable (they're Nike, I don't really need to say anything right?), I'm in love with the colors and the fact that the sole is white and pretty simple (one of my main requests: the sole!). I have used them to exercise and I have no complaints so far. Now let's see when will I take them out without going to the gym :)

Moda Lisboa Day 2: Beige & Gray

 

No segundo dia da Moda Lisboa decidi apostar em tons mais claros e conjuguei umas calças beges com um casaco cinzento. Porém, a estrela do look é o body que usei por baixo do casaco. É um body preto todo em renda, que eu usei com um top preto por baixo. É sem dúvida uma peça sexy sem ser vulgar e tenho a certeza que vou usar muito. Podia ter escolhido uns sapatos pretos básicos para condizer com o body e com as mangas do casaco mas decidi fugir do óbvio e escolher uns sapatos nude. O toque de cor foi sem dúvida o batom vermelho. Adorei o resultado final! O que acham?

On the second day of Lisbon Fashion Week I decided to go for lighter tones and I paired this beige trousers with a gray coat. However, the star of the look is the body I wore under the coat. It's a black lace body, which I wore with a black tank top underneath. It's definitely a sexy piece without being vulgar and I'm sure I'll wear it a lot in the future. I could have chosen some basic black shoes to match the body and the coat sleeves but I decided to run from the obvious and went for nude shoes. The touch of color was definitely the red lipstick. I loved the final result. What do you think?

SAY MY NAME

O primeiro desfile do dia foi Say My Name. Uma colecção que me surpreendeu por ser diferente e arrojada. O vermelho foi a cor predominante e os chapéus completaram os looks, dando um ar até roqueiro e atrevido às modelos. Gostei bastante dos cabelos pois estavam bastante originais. Os lindos caracóis das modelos sobressaíram ainda mais no meio de algumas mechas esticadas.

The first show of the day was Say My Name. A collection that actually really surprised me for being different and daring. Red was the predominant color and the hats completed the looks, giving the models a rocker and bold look. I really liked the hair because it was so original. The beautiful curls from the models stood out even more with some straight hairs in the middle.

LUÍS CARVALHO

Depois de ter ficado sem palavras no desfile de Miguel Vieira, chega Luís Carvalho! Que colecção maravilhosa! Mais uma vez não foi possível escolher apenas quatro ou cinco looks, pois são todos tão perfeitos. As cores da estação voltaram em força nesta colecção para provar que o próximo Outono/Inverno vai ser muito sofisticado e feminino: o rosa velho, o burgundy, o branco, o preto e até o cinzento. Mais uma colecção perfeita que me faz querer que o Inverno não se vá embora.

After being speechless in Miguel Vieira's show, here comes Luís Carvalho! What an amazing collection! Once again I couldn't choose just four or five looks, because they're all so perfect. The colors of the season came back once again in this collection to prove that the next Fall/Winter will be very sophisticated and feminine: rose, burgundy, white, black and even gray. Another perfect collection that makes me wish that Winter never ends.

Moda Lisboa: Makeup trends by Joana Pedro

Estamos a chegar ao fim de mais uma semana e apesar de o sol estar a começar a aparecer, hoje venho falar-vos das tendências de maquilhagem para o próximo Outono/Inverno.

We are getting closer to the end of another week and although the sun is starting to appear, today I'm here to tell you about the makeup trends for the next Fall/Winter. 

No fim-de-semana passado decorreu a Semana da Moda de Lisboa! Eu e a Ana estivemos presentes e pudemos ver as novas tendências que aí vêm. Hoje venho falar-vos da maquilhagem que desfilou nas passarelas do Pátio da Galé. 

Last weekend Lisbon Fashion Week took place! Me and Ana were present and we were able to see the new trends that are coming. Today I'm here to tell you about the makeup that was shown on the runways. 

Abrimos a nossa semana da moda com o desfile de Ricardo Andrez, onde a maquilhagem foi muito pouca, contrastando assim com a extravagância da roupa. Os rostos apareceram muito limpos, os olhos sem quaisquer sombras e nos lábios apenas um leve brilho natural. Um aspecto muito clean, tendo as sobrancelhas como foco principal, estas usam-se espessas e bem definidas. 

We started our fashion week with Ricardo Andrez, where the makeup was barely there, contrasting with the extravagance of the clothing. The faces appeared very clean, the eyes without shadows and the lips only with a light natural glow. A very clean look, where the eyebrows were the main focus, these are used thick and well defined. 

Segue-se o desfile de Miguel Vieira, um dos nossos favoritos! A maquilhagem continuou na mesma linha clean, onde a mulher é apresentada ao natural, realçando assim os seus traços femininos.

Next we have Miguel Vieira, one of our favorites! The makeup continued on the same clean line, where women are presented natural, thus enhancing their feminine features. 

Pela primeira vez tivemos contacto com o trabalho da Rose Palhares e ficámos fãs! Desde as roupas à maquilhagem, esta mulher é fantástica no que faz! As modelos apareceram com a pele bem preparada, sem contornos e apenas com um ligeiro toque de blush para dar um ar saudável. Nos olhos o clássico eyeliner em preto e nos lábios o típico batom vermelho. Uma excelente aposta, pois é uma combinação de maquilhagem intemporal. Adorei! 

For the first time we had contact with the work of Rose Palhares and now we are fans! From the makeup to the clothes, this woman is fantastic at it! The models appeared with a good skin preparation, without contour and only with a light touch of blush to provide a healthy look. On the eyes the classic black eyeliner and on the lips the typical red lipstick. A good bet because that's a timeless makeup combination. I loved it! 

Mais um desfile que adorámos, Carlos Gil! A preparação da pele estava novamente muito bem, a ausência de contornos no rosto torna a maquilhagem mais natural e subtil. Nos olhos, cores muito neutras, contrastando com os lábios escuros. Esta tendência veio mesmo para ficar, os lábios escuros vão estar novamente em voga. Neste caso optaram por um tom beringela, com um subtom roxo. É uma tendência que adoro! 

Another show that we loved, Carlos Gil! The skin preparation was again very good, the absence of contour on the face makes the makeup look more natural and subtle. On the eyes very neutral colors, contrasting with the dark lips. This trend is here to stay, dark lips will be back. In this case they chose aubergine, with a purple undertone. It's a trend that I love! 

Say My Name presenteou-nos com um visual mais juvenil e roqueiro. A pele novamente muito limpa, sem contornos e com um leve toque de iluminação. Nos olhos tons mais escuros e esfumados. Nos lábios tons naturais, como nude e coral, com um leve brilho. Gostei bastante desta vibe mais arrojada. 

Say My Name presented us with a more youthful and rocker look. The skin again very clean, without contour and with a light touch of highlighting. On the eyes darker and smoky eyeshadows. On the lips natural tones like nude and coral, with a light sheen. I really liked this boldest vibe.  

Fechámos a nossa semana da moda com o desfile de Luís Carvalho, mais uma vez foi uma óptima surpresa, pois adorámos! A preparação da pele estava muito boa, sem contornos e com um leve toque de blush. Os lábios despidos de cor, apenas com um leve brilho natural. O foco principal foram os olhos, onde a ausência de sombras foi notória, dando destaque ao ponto de luz dourado no canto interior dos olhos, obtendo assim uma maquilhagem iluminada destacando o olhar. Não era algo em que apostaria, mas gostei do resultado final. 

We finished our fashion week with Luís Carvalho, that once again was a great surprise, because we loved it! The skin preparation was very good, without contour and with a light touch of blush, and the lips had also no color, only a light natural sheen. The main focus were the eyes, where the absence of eyeshadows was notorious, highlighting the inner corner of the eyes with a golden shade, thereby obtaining a more highlighted makeup. It was not something that I would do, but I liked the final result. 

E esta foi a maquilhagem que desfilou na Semana da Moda de Lisboa! Confesso que adorei a maquilhagem da Rose Palhares, o facto de os lábios escuros continuarem em voga, o esfumado roqueiro vir para ficar e os pontos de luz nos olhos como destaque. 

And this was the makeup that was shown during Lisbon Fashion Week! I confess that I loved the makeup in Rose Palhares fashion show, the fact that the dark lips are still in fashion, the rocker smoky eyes are here to stay and the touch of light in the eyes as a highlight.
