Apesar de o tempo estar chuvoso, o Verão aproxima-se cada vez mais e a pensar no sol e no calor as marcas de renome já lançaram as suas novas colecções de verão. E hoje trago-vos novidades fresquinhas! 

Although the weather is still rainy, Summer is approaching and thinking about sun and heat some brands have launched their new Summer collections. And today I bring you fresh news! 

Hoje venho falar-vos de uma marca bastante conhecida, tanto no mundo da maquilhagem, como no mundo da cosmética em geral. Venho falar-vos então da nova colecção de maquilhagem da Clarins! Uma marca mais luxuosa, mas de excelente qualidade. A sua nova colecção tem como nome Sun Kissed. 

Today I want to talk about a very well known brand in the makeup world, and also in the world of cosmetics in general. I want to tell you about the new makeup collection by Clarins! A more luxurious brand, but with excellent quality. Its new collection is called Sun Kissed.

Começamos com a categoria de rosto. Este é o Poudre Soleil & Blush! Um pó bronzeador que também pode ser utilizado como blush. Com várias tonalidades num só produto, promete iluminar de imediato a tez e proporcionar um bronzeado natural e uniforme. Está disponível pelo preço de 48€. 

Let's begin with the face. This is the Poudre Soleil & Blush! A bronzing powder which can also be used as a blush. With several shades in one product, it promises to illuminate the complexion and to provide a natural tan. It’s available for the price of 48€.

Passamos agora à categoria de olhos. A marca lançou 4 novas sombras em creme e todas com acabamento metálico. Estas são as Ombre Waterproof! São sombras em creme, untuosas, à prova de água, de cores puras e brilhantes. Cada sombra custa 22€. 

Now let's move on to the eyes. The brand has launched 4 new cream eye shadows and all with metallic finishes. These are the Ombre Waterproof! They are cream shadows, waterproof, with pure and bright colors. Each eye shadow costs 22€. 

Ainda na categoria de olhos temos uma máscara de pestanas revolucionária. Esta é a Double Fix Mascara! É a primeira máscara impermeabilizante de dupla utilização, serve para impermeabilizar as pestanas e fixar as sobrancelhas. Nós mulheres adoramos produtos com dupla funcionalidade! É incolor e está disponível pelo preço de 22€. 

Still on the eyes category we have a revolutionary mascara. This is the Double Fix Mascara! It’s the first dual-use waterproof mascara, used to waterproof the eyelashes and to fix the eyebrows. We women love products with dual functionality! It’s colorless and is available for the price of 22€.

Passamos agora à minha parte favorita, os lábios (já estão fartinhos de saber isto não é?). Este ano a marca traz imensos conceitos diferentes e este é um deles. Não temos batons, mas sim óleos labiais! Estes são os Eclat Minute Huile Confort Lèvres! São óleos vegetais com um ligeiro toque de cor, a sua fórmula ajuda a nutrir e hidratar os lábios. A marca promete um efeito leve e nada pegajoso. Estão disponíveis em 3 cores e fragrâncias e pelo preço de 21,50€ cada. 

Now we have arrived to my favorite part, lips (you already know this, right?). This year the brand brings several different concepts and this is one of them. These are not lipsticks, but labial oils! These are the Eclat Minute Huile Confort Lèvres! They are vegetable oils with a slight touch of color, its formula helps to nourish and moisturize the lips. The brand promises a light and non-sticky effect. They are available in 3 colors and fragrances and for the price of 21,50€ each.

Na altura do calor a nossa maquilhagem tem tendência a derreter um pouco, por isso nada melhor do que um fixador de maquilhagem. Este é o Fix’ Make-Up! Uma bruma leve e refrescante, que fixa a maquilhagem e confere-lhe uma maior durabilidade. A embalagem é fantástica, parece um perfume de alta qualidade. Está disponível pelo preço de 29,50€. 

Usually in the heat our makeup tends to melt a little bit, so what better way to prevent it than with a makeup fixer? This is the Fix 'Make-Up! A light and refreshing mist, fixing the make-up and giving it a longer life. The packaging is fantastic, looks like a high quality perfume. It’s available for the price of 29,50€.

E que melhor produto para o verão do que um autobronzeador? Este é o Addition Concentré Eclat Auto-bronzant! É um óleo para o rosto que junta todos os benefícios da pele ao auto bronzeado. Indicado para todos os tipos de pele juntando a hidratação, efeito refirmante, anti-rugas e os cuidados de dia habituais. 

And what better product for Summer than a self-tanner? This is the Addition Concentré Eclat Auto-bronzant! It’s a face oil that brings together all the skin benefits to self tan. Suitable for all skin types joining hydration, firming effect, anti-wrinkle and all the usual daily care.

TOP 5: KIKO Favorite Products

O post de hoje é dedicado a uma das minhas marcas de maquilhagem preferidas, a KIKO. Ao longo dos tempos tenho vindo a acumular bastantes produtos desta marca, por isso hoje decidi vir partilhar convosco os meus cinco produtos preferidos. Sou sincera, a escolha não foi muito fácil, pois quase todos são favoritos, mas aqui fica o top 5!

Today's post is dedicated to one of my favorite makeup brands, KIKO Cosmetics. I've been gathering a lot of products from this brand for a while now, so today I decided to share with you my five favorite products. I'm honest, the choice wasn't easy, because almost all of them are favorites, but here is the top 5!

Começando pelo Perfect Base Corrector (à direita), 12,90€, este é um primer de rosto com um efeito aperfeiçoador, que uniformiza e alisa a tez, preparando a mesma para receber a restante maquilhagem. Tem uma textura muito aveludada, deixa a pele super macia e torna a aplicação da base muito mais fácil. Como podem ver em cima, o produto é líquido e bastante fácil de espalhar na pele, tornando-a assim muito mais uniforme e fazendo a maquilhagem durar mais tempo. 

Starting with the Perfect Base Corrector (on the right), 12,90€, this one is a face primer with a perfecting effect, which smoothes and evens out the complexion, leaving the skin prepared to receive the rest of the makeup. It has a velvety texture, it leaves the skin super soft and makes the application of the foundation super easy. As you can see above, the product comes out liquid and is pretty easy to blend into the skin, making it look uniform and making the makeup last a lot longer.

Um produto mais recente, o Radiant Fusion Baked Powder, 14,90€, é um pó mineral cozido com um acabamento luminoso. Contém Vitamina E e Óleo de Argão, sendo um produto bastante sedoso e muito fácil de aplicar e esbater. Este produto foi amor à primeira vista, ou neste caso, à primeira utilização! A começar pela embalagem que é super luxuosa (tem um espelho na tampa bastante razoável e um fecho magnético) e a terminar pelo produto em si, que é maravilhoso! Por ser cozido, este pó permite um acabamento luminoso e muito homogéneo, sem tornar a nosso pele pesada, mesmo depois de retocar com ele ao longo do dia. Tornou-se um must-have, já não quero outro pó na minha vida!

A more recent product, the Radiant Fusion Baked Powder, 14,90€, is a mineral baked powder with a luminous finish. It has Vitamin E and Argan Oil, being very silky and very easy to apply and to blend. This product was love at first sight, or in this case, at first application! Starting with the packaging which is super luxurious (it has a pretty decent mirror on the cover and a magnetic closure) and finishing with the product itself, which is amazing! Because it's baked, this powder allows us to obtain a very luminous and even finish, without making the skin look heavy, even after retouching throughout the day. It has become a must-have, I don't want any other powder in my life!

O Face Makeup Fixer, 7,90€, é um spray fixador de maquilhagem. Quase todas as marcas hoje em dia têm um spray deste género, mas o que é certo é que alguns nem sempre funcionam. Já este spray é uma história diferente! Ele contém álcool cosmético e extracto de camomila, não tem qualquer fragrância e ao aplicar torna-se imperceptível e nada pegajoso. É o toque final de qualquer maquilhagem que eu faça, pois ajuda imenso a fixar a maquilhagem durante o dia. Funciona mesmo! 

The Face Makeup Fixer, 7,90€, is a makeup fixer spray. Almost every brand nowadays have a spray like this, but not all of them really work. Now this one is a different story! It has cosmetic alcohol and chamomile extract, it doesn't have any type of fragrance and when applied it becomes imperceptible and non-sticky. It's the final touch of any makeup that I do, because it really helps to fix my makeup throughout the day. It really does work!

De seguida temos um produto de sobrancelhas. E vocês podem pensar "ah mas qualquer marca tem este produto, não é nenhuma inovação". E não, realmente não é, mas de todos os que já experimentei de outras marcas e depois de várias tentativas, este mantém-se o meu preferido. É o Eyebrow Designer Gel Mascara, 7,20€, e é um gel fixante de sobrancelhas transparente. A escova tem o formato perfeito para a aplicação do produto, o que é sempre um bónus, porque normalmente as escovas são sempre grandes demais. O produto não fica pegajoso, não cola nem deixa qualquer vestígio nas sobrancelhas. Para mim, é a fórmula perfeita!

Next we have a brow product. And you might think "oh but any brand now has this type of product, there's nothing new there". And actually there isn't, but from everything that I've tried from other brands and after several attempts, this one is still my favorite. It's the Eyebrow Designer Gel Mascara, 7,20€, and it's a transparent fixing gel mascara for eyebrows. The brush has the perfect size to apply the product, which is always a bonus, because usually they're too big. The product doesn't get sticky, doesn't glue or leaves any trace on the eyebrows. For me, it's the perfect formula!

Por último temos um produto muito especial, uma sombra em caneta de longa duração. Chama-se Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow, 6,90€, e a minha é na cor 07. Tem uma fórmula cremosa, uniforme, brilhante, resistente à água e quando aplicado a cor mantém-se pura e vibrante. A aplicação é fácil e confortável, devido ao seu formato arredondado e à sua textura suave e leve. Existem 32 cores e todas lindíssimas, dá vontade de trazer todas para casa. Pode usar-se com outra sombra por cima, mas funciona muito bem só assim, pois é muito pigmentada.

Lastly we have a very special product, a long-lasting eyeshadow pen. It's called Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow, 6,90€, and mine is in the color 07. It has a very creamy, uniform, radiant, water resistant formula and when applied the color remains pure and vibrant. There are 32 colors and they're all beautiful, we just want to bring them all home with us. It can be used with another shadow on top of it, but it works really well on its own, because it's very pigmented.

Shopping for florals

O padrão floral pode ser usado todo o ano, mas é sem dúvida na Primavera que está no seu auge. Estilistas internacionais mostraram-nos que as flores são tudo menos um padrão aborrecido, e que pode ser divertido, atrevido e muito feminino. Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Oscar de La Renta, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren e Chloe foram apenas algumas das marcas de renome que nos trouxeram o padrão floral de forma arrojada e extra-feminina, principalmente em lindos vestidos longos e primaveris. 

The floral pattern can be used all year round, but it's definitely during Spring that it is at its peak. International stylists have shown us that flowers are everything but a boring pattern, and that they can be fun, bold and very feminine. Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Oscar de La Renta, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Chloe were some of the brands that brought us the floral pattern in a bold and extra-feminine way, with beautiful long Spring dresses.

Das passarelas para as ruas, este padrão foi rapidamente adaptado pelas bloggers e it-girls do momento, enchendo a Primavera de cor e muitas muitas flores. 

From the runways to streetstyle, this pattern was quickly adapted by bloggers and it-girls, filling Spring with lots of color and lots and lots of flowers.

Por já ser um padrão tão óbvio, para as mais discretas o ideal é conjugar uma peça floral com peças lisas dentro da mesma paleta de cores, ou então arriscar e usar as flores de cima a baixo num vestido  longo ou mesmo num conjunto top + calções. É fácil descobrir algo com este padrão que se adeque ao nosso estilo pessoal, nem que seja usando-o apenas nos acessórios ou nas malas, por exemplo.  Seja como for, não existe padrão que grite mais Primavera do que este, por isso é só começar a usar e divertirem-se com a ajuda das flores!

Because it's already such an obvious pattern, for the most discreete girls the ideal is to mix a floral piece with something in the same color range, or take a risk and use flowers from top to bottom in a long dress or even in a matching top and shorts. It's easy to find something with this pattern that can be suited to our personal style, either using it on accessories or on purses, for example. Either way, there's no other pattern that screams Spring like this one, so you just have to start using it and having fun with the help of some flowers!
