Cannes 2016: My Favorite Red Carpet Looks

Agora que a edição do Festival de Cinema de Cannes deste ano já terminou podemos rever todos os looks que passaram pela passadeira vermelha e pelas after-parties e escolher os nossos preferidos. Este é dos eventos mais esperados do ano e é também um dos mais ricos quando se fala de moda. Este ano, tal como todos os anos, algumas celebridades decidiram inovar nas suas escolhas, usando calças, crop tops, capas ou fatos completos. Já outras decidiram apostar no clássico, que na minha opinião é a melhor escolha, visto que é um evento tão elegante. Sem mais demoras, aqui ficam os meus looks preferidos que passaram na passadeira vermelha de Cannes.
Now that this year's Cannes Festival is over we can take a look at all the looks that appeared on the red carpet and the after-parties and chose our favorites. This is one of the most anticipated events of the year and it's also one of the richest when it comes to fashion. This year, like every year, some celebrities decided to get bold on their choices, wearing trousers, crop tops, capes or suits. Others decided to go for the classic, that in my opinion is the best choice, because this is such an elegant event. Without further ado, here are my favorite looks from this year's Cannes red carpet.

Li Bing Bing nunca me desilude neste tipo de eventos. Desta vez optou pelo clássico preto e branco num Stephan Rolland lindo de morrer! Ela optou por usar o cabelo preso de forma a poder mostrar a beleza da parte de trás do vestido e deixar brilhar os brincos. Uma escolha minimalista que resultou na perfeição!
Li Bing Bing never lets me down in this type of events. This time she went for the classic black and white in a Stephan Rolland dress that was to die for! She wore her hair like a bun so she could show the beauty of the back of the dress and let the earrings shine. A minimalistic choice that worked out perfectly!

 

Jourdan Dunn escolheu este Ralph & Russo maravilhoso com tons de azul e branco. As cores do vestido favoreceram imenso o seu tom de pele. Ela manteve tudo bem minimalista mas funcionou na perfeição, com o cabelo apanhado a mostrar os seus belos brincos e os ombros. 
Jourdan Dunn chose this wonderful Ralph & Russo in tones of blue and white. The colors of the dress looked great with her skin tone. She kept everything very minimalistic but it worked out perfectly, with the hair pulled back showing her earrings and shoulders.

O que posso dizer sobre Blake Lively? Além de ser fã do trabalho dela, adorei quase todos os looks que ela usou em Cannes este ano, sendo que estes dois foram sem dúvida os momentos altos. Azul é definitivamente a sua cor. Primeiro num vestido estilo Cinderela Vivienne Westwood que parece que foi feito especialmente para ela! E depois num Atelier Versace que tirava a respiração a qualquer um! Num parecia uma princesa e no outro uma sereia, de qualquer forma em qualquer um deles estava perfeita e a sua barriguinha de grávida só tornou os seus looks ainda mais especiais.
What can I say about Blake Lively? Besides being a fan of her work, I loved almost every outfit she wore in Cannes this year, these two definitely being the high moments. Blue is definitely her color. First in a Cinderela style dress from Vivienne Westwood that looked like it was especially made for her! And then in an Atelier Versace that could take our breath away! In one she looked like a princess and in the other she looked like a mermaid, in any of them she was perfect and her pregnant little belly only made the looks extra special. 

Jessica Chastain brilhou num vestido Armani em amarelo. A cor do vestido fez a combinação perfeita com a cor do seu cabelo e o decote em coração apenas salientou mais o seu lindo colar e deixou-a sem dúvida muito elegante.
Jessica Chastain shined in a yellow Armani dress. The color of the dress made the perfect combination with her hair color and the heart shaped neckline only highlighted even more her beautiful necklace and overall she looked very elegant.

Julia Roberts estava muito elegante neste Armani Privé. O corte do vestido e a cor favoreceram-na muito, tendo usado apenas um ponto de cor no colar. Optou por levar o cabelo solto e foi uma escolha acertada, pois deu mais alguma informação ao look. Facto importante: por baixo do vestido Julia estava descalça, como forma de protesto, pois o ano passado a organização do evento recusou a entrada de senhoras que não usavam saltos altos. Well done Julia!
Julia Roberts was very elegant in this Armani Privé. The cut of the dress and the color suited her very well, being the pop of color only on her necklace. She went for loose hair and it was the right choice, because it gave more information to the outfit. Important fact: under her dress, Julia was barefoot, as a way of protesting, because last year the organization of the event denied the entrance of the ladies that weren't wearing heels. Well done Julia!

A brasileira Izabel Goulart optou por algo completamente diferente e eu adorei! Em vez de um vestido normal, ela decidiu usar um body de cristais maravilhoso e por cima colocou um vestido longo de seda de Ralph & Russo ligeiramente aberto, de forma a mostrar os detalhes do body. Juntou-lhe uns brincos chamativos e um cabelo do género "acordei assim mesmo" e ficou mais sexy do que nunca.
The Brasilian Izabel Goulart chose something completely different and I loved it! Instead of a normal dress, she decided to go with a wonderful body filled with crystals and on top she wore a long silk dress from Ralph & Russo slightly open, so the body details were at sight. She paired it with some outstanding earrings and "I woke up like this" hair and she looked sexier than ever. 

Natasha Poly escolheu um Prada muito colorido e divertido. Adorei as cores e o formato do vestido, algo um pouco diferente do que se viu na passadeira vermelha de Cannes este ano. Escolheu usar o cabelo liso para trás de forma a dar toda a atenção ao vestido e aos seus brincos. Estava muito elegante.
Natasha Poly chose a very colorful and fun Prada dress. I loved the colors and the shape of the dress, something a little bit different from what we saw on Cannes red carpet this year. She wore her hair sleek to the back, so she could give all the attention to the dress and earrings. She looked very elegant.

Foi difícil encontrar uma foto só do vestido da Amal Clooney, visto que ela não largou o seu amado por nada deste mundo. Bem, de qualquer forma não custa nada olhar para o George também, não é? E a forma como ele a admira? Bem, mas voltemos ao vestido... Amal escolheu este Atelier Versace e arrasou. A cor contrastou perfeitamente com a cor da sua pele e do seu cabelo e o formato do vestido deu-lhe um estilo de deusa grega que lhe assentou muito bem. Adorei o conjunto completo.

It wasn't easy to find a picture with only Amal Clooney's dress, because she didn't let her lover go for one second. Oh well, it doesn't hurt a thing to look at George too, right? And what about the way he admires her? Well, let's go back to the dress... Amal chose this Atelier Versace and she nailed it! The color looked beautiful with the color of her skin and hair and the shape of the dress gave her that Greek Goddess style that suited her very well. I loved the entire outfit.

Soonam Kapoor sempre maravilhosa. Estes dois vestidos foram os meus preferidos! As cores claras e neutras ficam-lhe bem e ela sabe disso, tendo escolhido dois modelos Ralph & Russo nesses tons. Ambos os looks foram parecidos, com as capas bastante trabalhadas e as jóias muito bem escolhidas. Os vestidos assentaram-lhe na perfeição, salientando as suas formas e a sua beleza.
Soonam Kapoor always looks wonderful. These two dresses were my favorites! The neutral and soft colors look great on her and she knows it, haven chose these two models from Ralph & Russo in those tones. Both the looks were similar, with the capes and the jewels very well chosen. The dresses suited her perfectly, enhancing her shape and her beauty.

Adorei a escolha de Barbara Palvin. Este vestido da marca Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini é dos mais femininos que vi passar no Festival. O rosa suave, o decote em V, os folhos nas mangas, o plissado por todo o tecido, aquela faixa preta a marcar a cintura, juntamente com o cabelo meio desarranjado a contrastar com o estilo do vestido, tornaram o look muito elegante, delicado e jovial. Adorei a escolha!
I loved Barbara Palvin's choice. This Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini dress is one of the most feminine dresses I saw at the festival. The soft pink, the V-neck, the ruffles on the sleeves, the pleated effect, that black belt shaping her waist, together with the messy hair contrasting with the dress, made the entire look very elegant, delicate and youthful. Loved her choice!

Foi uma edição cheia de variedade no que toca a moda, com cores variadas, modelos arrojados e joalharia de fazer parar o trânsito.
It was an edition full of varitety when it comes to fashion, with different colors, bold styles and jewelry that could stop traffic.
