Hoje trago-vos novidades fresquinhas, directamente do mundo da maquilhagem. A Essence lançou uma nova colecção de maquilhagem, a sua habitual colecção de Verão. É a Hip Girls Wear Blue Jeans! 

Today I bring you fresh news, directly from the makeup world. Essence has launched a new makeup collection, the usual Summer collection. It's the Hip Girls Wear Blue Jeans! 

Esta é uma colecção bem descontraída, tal como a maquilhagem se quer no verão. Inspirada no bronze e na ganga, uma combinação perfeita para o verão.

This is a very relaxed collection, just like we want makeup to be in Summer. Inspired by the tan and jeans, a perfect combination for Summer.

Mostro-vos agora um pouco melhor esta bronzeada colecção.  

Now I'll show you this tanned collection a little bit better. 

Começamos com a categoria de rosto, onde apenas foi lançado um creme iluminador. Este é o Illuminating Face Cream Gel! Um creme em gel para dar luminosidade à nossa pele, porque todas gostamos de ter aquele glow de verão. 

We begin with the face category, in which only an illuminating cream was released. This is the Illuminating Face Cream Gel! A gel cream that gives luminosity to our skin, because we all like to have that Summer glow.

Ainda na categoria de rosto, foi lançado um blush e um bronzer no estilo mosaico. A mistura de cores dá um toque único aos produtos. 

Still in the face category, a mosaic blush and bronzer were launched. The mix of colors gives a unique touch to the products.

Foram também lançados iluminadores em stick. Porque não há nada mais prático para o verão do que um iluminador em creme. Estão disponíveis em dois tons, um mais rosado e outro mais branco. Estes são os Highlighter Stick! 

Highlighting sticks were also launched. Because there is nothing more practical for Summer than a cream highlighter. They are available in two shades, one pink and one whiter. These are the Highlighter Sticks!

Foi também lançado um trio de blushes e bronzer, este é o Bronze & Blush Sunkissed Palette! Uma paleta constituída por dois blushes de tom rosado, mas de intensidades diferentes, e um bronzer. 

It was also released a trio of blushes and bronzer, this is the Bronze & Blush Sunkissed Palette! A palette consisting of two blushes in a pink tone, but with different intensities, and one bronzer. 

A novidade da marca é este Metallic Foil Lip Powder! Um pó iluminador metálico, no típico formato compacto. Pode ser aplicado nos lábios, para um acabamento de lábios metálicos, ou pode ser utilizado apenas como iluminador. 

Something new from the brand is this Metallic Foil Lip Powder! A metallic illuminating powder, in the typical compact format. It can be applied on the lips, for a metallic lip finish, or it can be used only as an highlighter.

Na categoria de olhos, foi lançado um quarteto de sombras. Esta é a Illuminating Eyeshadow Palette! Uma paleta com quatro sombras em pó, no típico formato compacto e em tons neutros.

For the eyes, a quartet of eyeshadows was released. This is the Illuminating Eyeshadow Palette! A palette with four powder shadows, in the typical compact format and in neutral tones.

 1- Hip lips go blue!
2- Hip lips go coral!

3- Hip lips go rosy! 

Sim, chegámos à minha parte favorita, os batons! Estes são os Illuminating Lipsticks! Batons de acabamento luminoso e de longa duração. 

Yes, we have arrived to my favorite part, lipsticks! These are the Illuminating Lipsticks! Lipsticks with a luminous finish that are long lasting.

Foi também lançado um novo pincel de rosto. Este é o Face Perfector Brush! Um pincel de rosto, ideal para a aplicação de produtos em pó e de cerdas sintécticas.  

A new face brush was also launched. This is the Face Perfector Brush! A face brush, ideal for the application of powder products with synthetic bristles.

1- Show me what you got! (high gloss effect)

2- Don't be shy! (soft matt effect)

3- Start the blue rebellion! (denim effect)

4- Cute but cool! (illuminating effect)

Claro que numa colecção de maquilhagem não podia faltar uma gama de vernizes. Estes são os novos vernizes da marca. Foram lançadas quatro novas cores com acabamentos diferentes.

Of course a makeup collection has to have a range of nail polishes. These are the brand's new nail polishes. Four new colors with different finishes were released.

  

E esta é a colecção de maquilhagem de verão da Essence! A Hip Girls Wear Blue Jeans já está nas lojas e vai permanecer até ao fim de Agosto, pois é de edição limitada. 

And this is Essence Summer makeup collection! The Hip Girls Wear Blue Jeans is already in stores and will remain until the end of August, as it is limited edition.

Gostei bastante desta nova colecção, da simplicidade dos produtos, do facto de ser centrada no bronze e na iluminação. Só ainda não consigo compreender esta moda do batom azul.  

I really liked this new collection, the simplicity of the products, the fact that it is focused on bronze and highlight. But I still can’t understand this blue lipstick trend.
