back to another week and now is officially Fall!
O post de hoje é um pouco mais especial. Venho
falar-vos da maquilhagem que fiz para o meu exame final na escola de
maquilhagem da Make Up For Ever.
Today's post is a little bit more
special. I want to tell you about the makeup look I had to do for my final exam in the makeup
school by Make Up For Ever.
Pois é, não basta querermos ser
maquilhadoras profissionais, também temos de investir na nossa formação. Decidi
fazê-lo na melhor escola de maquilhagem de Lisboa e associada a uma marca
internacional, a Make Up For Ever.
It’s not enough to have the wish to
be a professional makeup artist, we also have to invest on our training. I decided
to do it in the best makeup school in Lisbon and associated with an
international brand, Make Up For Ever.
Faz agora um ano que me tornei oficialmente
maquilhadora, formada pela Makeup School by Make Up For Ever. Tenho orgulho no
meu percurso e na minha profissão e adoro aquilo que faço. No final do curso
temos o exame final de maquilhagem, no qual temos de fazer dois looks completos
de maquilhagem. Uma maquilhagem de dia e uma maquilhagem de noite, e vou
mostrar-vos o resultado final do meu exame.
It has been a year now since I
became officially a makeup artist, graduated from the Makeup School by Make Up For
Ever. I’m proud of my career and my job and I love what I do. In the
end of the course we have the final makeup exam, in which we have to do two
complete makeup looks. A day and a
night makeup look and I’ll show you the result of my final exam.
Começámos pelo look de dia! O objectivo é ser
um look mais clean, mais discreto e luminoso. Optei por preparar normalmente a
pele, mas saltando o passo do bronzer, para que o rosto não ficasse demasiado
definido. Nos olhos, optei por tons neutros, mas luminosos, como o cobre e os
castanhos. Depois apliquei pontos de luz, no canto interno dos olhos e
abaixo do arco da sobrancelha, e finalizei os olhos com máscara de pestanas. Nos
lábios, optei por um batom rosado, mas de acabamento glossy, o que deu um ar
muito natural a todo o visual.
Let's start with the day
look! The goal is to do a cleaner, more discreet and bright look. I chose to prepare the skin as I always do, but skipping the bronzer, so that her face
wouldn’t be too defined. On the eyes, I chose neutral tones, but bright at the same time, as
copper and brown. Then I applied spots of light, on the inner corner of the eyes
and under the eyebrow, and finished the eyes with mascara. On the lips, I
opted for a pink lipstick, but with a glossy finish, which gave it a very natural
look.

Now I show you a little bit
closer the final result of this day makeup look.
Um visual muito clean, mas iluminado, tal
como eu pretendia. Fiquei bastante satisfeita com o meu trabalho e isso
reflectiu-se na nota final.
A more clean look, but illuminated,
as I intended. I was quite satisfied with my work and that was reflected on the
final grade.
Para a maquilhagem de noite o objectivo era
mostrarmos algo mais arrojado, com a utilização das várias técnicas que
tínhamos aprendido. Optei por um smoky eye em tons de preto, um visual muito
roqueiro, mas que gostei imenso. Preparei a pele exactamente da mesma maneira
que para o outro look, mas desta vez nos olhos utilizei apenas sombra preta,
esfumando em todo o olho e acompanhado pela parte de baixo do olho também.
Depois de aplicar os habituais pontos de luz no olhar, utilizei uma sombra
cintilante, uma espécie de glitter (star powder) e apliquei-a apenas no centro da
pálpebra. Deu um ar muito mais iluminado ao visual e gostei bastante. Para
lábios, optei por um tom muito neutro, um batom ligeiramente rosado e com
acabamento glossy.
For the night makeup look the
goal was to show something bolder, with the use of various techniques we had
learned. I opted for a smoky eye in shades of black, a very rocker look, but I
liked it a lot. I prepared
the skin the exact same way as the other look, but this time on the
eyes I only used black shadows blended around the eyes and on the bottom
of the eye as well. After applying the usual points of light in the eyes, I
used a shimmering shadow, like a glitter (star powder) and applied it only on
the center of the eyelid. It gave a much brighter look to the eye and I really
liked it. For lips, I opted for a very neutral tone, a light pink lipstick with a glossy finish.
O resultado final foi mesmo o que eu
desejava. Um visual roqueiro e bem arrojado. Gostei bastante!
The final result was just what I wanted. A
rocker and bold look. I really liked it!
Apesar dos nervos daquele dia, o exame
correu bastante bem e terminei o curso com uma boa nota. A Makeup School é
mesmo uma excelente escola de maquilhagem, isto se não for a melhor de
Portugal, pois é a única associada a uma marca internacional. Tive formadores
fantásticos e adorei tudo.
Despite the stress of that day, the exam
went well and I finished the course with a good grade. The Makeup School is
an excellent school of makeup, perhaps the best in Portugal, it’s the only one
associated with an international makeup brand. I had fantastic trainers and loved
everything.

A maquilhagem é mesmo a minha paixão, o meu
mundo e aquilo que realmente gosto de fazer. Como nunca sabemos tudo, com
certeza que vou voltar à Makeup School para continuar a ter conhecimentos desta
fantástica arte que é a maquilhagem.
Makeup is my passion, my world and
what I really like to do. As we never know everything, for sure I will
return to Makeup School to continue to learn more about this wonderful art
that is makeup.
