Mask of Magnaminty & Bubblegum lips exfoliant by LUSH

Há umas semanas atrás finalmente tive a oportunidade de ir até à LUSH comprar umas coisinhas que queria há algum tempo. Comprei três produtos, um deles era uma balística que já utilizei claro (adorei, cheirava tãoo bem), e hoje venho falar-vos então dos outros dois produtos que trouxe para casa.
A few weeks ago I finally had the chance to go to LUSH and buy some things I wanted a long time ago. I bought three things, one of them was a ballistic that I already used of course (I loved it, it smelled so good), and today I want to talk about the other two products that I brought home.

 Mask of Magnaminty (125g, 5,95€)

Esta máscara é perfeita para peles oleosas, como é o meu caso. É constituída por menta, barro da china, gel de bentonite, feijões adzuki moídos e sementes de prímulas. Todos estes ingredientes puxam a sujidade dos nossos poros, deixam a pele esfoliada e macia e claro que a menta deixa a pele fresca e com aquela sensação de "mais limpa é impossível". 
This mask is perfect for oily skins, like mine. It's constituted by mint, china clay, bentonite gel, ground adzuki beans and primroses seeds. All these ingredients pull the dirty out of our pores, leave the skin exfoliated and soft and of course that the mint leaves the skin fresh and with that feeling of "cleaner is impossible". 

Segundo a LUSH este produto pode ser utilizado na cara e nas costas, mas eu utilizo apenas no rosto uma vez por semana. Deixa-se actuar a máscara no rosto durante 5-10 minutos e depois retira-se com água morna. Sinto que a pele fica realmente limpa em profundidade e muito macia. Tornou-se o meu ritual de Domingo à noite!
According to LUSH this products can be used on the face and on our back, but I use it only on my face once a week. You let it dry on the skin for 5-10 minutes and then you remove it with warm water. I feel it leaves my skin really deeply clean and very soft. It has become my Sunday night routine!

Ao olharmos para a cor dela pensamos "eu vou mesmo meter isto na minha cara?", mas depois de colocarem sentem o produto a esfoliar a pele e a frescura e o cheiro maravilhoso da menta. Claro que se não gostarem de menta não vos recomendo este produto, mas se quiserem uma pele limpa e fresca, e até suportarem o cheiro, apostem nesta máscara!
While looking at its color we think "am I going to put this on my face?", but after you do it you feel the product really exfoliating the skin and the fresh and the amazing smell of the mint. Of course that if you don't like mint I don't recommend you this product, but if you want a clean and fresh face, and you actually can stand the smell, bet on this mask!

Bubblegum Lips Exfoliant (25g, 7,25€)

Lembram-se da Joana ter referido este produto em dois dos seus posts (aqui a aqui)? Pois bem, eu já andava para o comprar há imenso tempo e quando fui à loja foi a primeira coisa em que agarrei! Finalmente! Os meus lábios no Inverno ficam uma desgraça autêntica e quando uso esta pequena maravilha as peles desaparecem todas e os meus lábios ficam deliciosos!
Do you remember Joana mentioning this product in two of her posts (here and here)? Well, I wanted to buy it for so long and when I went to the store it was the first thing I grab! Finally! On winter my lips really are a mess and when I use this little wonder the dead skin disappear and my lips get delicious!

 

Este produto é realmente um docinho, é feito de açúcar em pó e cheira a pastilha elática. Cheira mesmo bem! 
This product is really a sweet, it's made of powdered sugar and smells like gum. It smells so good!

Basta colocarem um pouco no dedo e espalhar bem nos lábios. As peles mortas desaparecem imediatamente e os vossos lábios ganham outra vida e outro sabor (depois podem lamber os vossos lábios à vontade e comer os restos). É perfeito para esfoliar os lábios antes de usar um batôm escuro e antes de ir dormir antes de colocar um bálsamo hidratante.
You just have to put a little bit on your finger and spread it on the lips. All the dead skin disappear immediately and your lips get another life and another flavor (after you can lick your lips and eat the remains). It's perfect to exfoliate the lips before using a dark lipstick and before going to sleep and before using a hydrating balm.

Já experimentaram produtos da LUSH? A LUSH só vende produtos feitos à mão, com ingredientes naturais e não testa em animais. Estou fã da marca e o atendimento na loja também é espectacular. Com a compra dos três produtos ofereceram-me ainda um sabonete, que por sinal também cheira muito bem e não seca nada as mãos :)
Have you tried LUSH products? LUSH only sells handmade products, with natural ingredients and it doesn't test on animals. I'm a fan of the brand and the service on the store is also amazing. With what I bought they offered me a soap, that also smells really good and doesn't dry the hands :)

O post de hoje será útil para muitas mulheres! Já todos me ouviram falar de como amo o BB Cream, entre outras coisas relacionadas com este. Mas agora chegou um novo produto ao mercado, o CC Cream. E com tanta escolha acabamos por ficar baralhadas e não sabemos o que comprar e usar. Pois bem, hoje estou aqui para vos satisfazer toda a vossa curiosidade. Vamos desvendar as diferenças e semelhanças entre estes dois tipos de produtos. Preparadas? Então bora lá!  

Today's post will be helpful for many women! You all have heard me talk about how I love BB Cream, among other things related to this. But now there's a new product in the market, the CC Cream. And with so much choice we end up getting confused and without knowing what to buy and use. Well, today I’m here to satisfy all your curiosity. Let's uncover the differences and similarities between these two types of products. Ready? Lets go! 

Começamos então pelo BB Cream. 

We begin with the BB Cream.

Primeiro que tudo alguém sabe o que quer dizer BB Cream? Pois é… então eu passo a explicar. BB Cream significa Blemish Balm Cream e foi inicialmente criado na Alemanha (inteligentes estes alemães!). Tinha como função o tratamento e recuperação da pele para pessoas que faziam tratamentos dermatológicos mais agressivos. Começou então a ganhar popularidade na Ásia (outros prós na cosmética), pois como a maioria sabe as mulheres asiáticas são “fanáticas” por maquilhagem e pela ideia de pele perfeita. Aperfeiçoaram então o produto, dando-lhe assim a vantagem de conter alguma cobertura mas com todos os poderes da hidratação e cuidados da pele. 

First of all does anyone know what BB Cream means? Yeah... so I'll explain. BB Cream means Blemish Balm Cream and was originally created in Germany (intelligent these German guys!). Its function was the treatment and skin recovery for people who were doing more aggressive skin treatments. It then began to gain popularity in Asia (other cosmetic pros), because as most of us already know Asian women are "fanatic" about makeup and love the idea of a perfect skin. They perfected the product, giving it the advantage of containing some coverage but with all the powers of hydration and skin care.

Passamos agora ao CC Cream: 

Now let's talk about the CC Cream:

Vamos começar por decifrar o próprio nome. CC Cream? Significa Complete Correction Cream e é considerado uma evolução do BB Cream. É como se fosse o mesmo produto, mas muito mais potente! Foi lançado inicialmente por coreanos (mas por que é que Portugal nunca tem ideias destas?) com a finalidade de criar um novo produto de maquilhagem. A sua composição alia uma boa hidratação, protector solar, primer, base e ainda ajuda a clarear e reparar a pele, oferecendo também a cobertura de uma base, mas numa fórmula muito mais leve e duradoura.  

Let's start by deciphering the name. CC Cream? It means Complete Correction Cream and is considered an evolution of the BB Cream. It's like the same product, but much more powerful! It was initially released by Korean (why does not Portugal ever has these ideas?) with the purpose of creating a new makeup product. The composition combines good hydration, sunscreen, primer, foundation and it even helps to brighten and repair the skin, also offering coverage like a foundation, but in a much lighter and lasting formula.

A grande diferença entre estes dois produtos parte do princípio de que o BB Cream não pode ser considerado um produto de maquilhagem, mas sim um produto dermatológico de tratamento da pele. Enquanto o CC Cream foi desenvolvido com o intuito de ser um novo produto no mundo da maquilhagem (e que produto, um grande revolucionário!) contendo uma fórmula especialmente desenvolvida para dar a cobertura de uma base mas sem pesar na pele, com todos os benefícios da hidratação de um creme altamente hidratante e com a protecção para que a pele não se danifique.

The major difference between these two products is that BB cream cannot be considered a makeup product, but a dermatological product for the treatment of skin. While the CC Cream was developed with the intention of being a new product in the makeup world (and what a product, a great revolution!) containing a specially developed formula to give coverage like a foundation but without any weight on the skin, with all the benefits of a highly moisturizing and protection cream so the skin doesn't get damaged.

Este é o BB Cream da Garnier especialmente desenvolvido para peles mistas e oleosas. Como o BB é um produto bastante hidratante, a sua fórmula original tende a ser menos apropriada para as peles oleosas. Mas todos já sabem que este é o produto dos meus sonhos, já falei dele imensas vezes. É bastante hidratante e dá-nos uma leve cobertura.

This is the BB Cream by Garnier, especially developed for combination and oily skins. Because the BB is a very moisturizing product, its original formula tends to be less suitable for oily skins. But everyone knows that this is my dream product, I have talked about it so many times. It’s very moisturizing and it gives a light coverage.

 

O próximo produto é o Super BB Cream de Tripla Ação da Skin 79. Esta é uma marca que tem uma imensa gama de BB Creams, cada um com as suas características específicas. Este promete uma tripla acção: melhorar a aparência da pele através do seu efeito clareador, protector solar (SPF25) e anti-rugas. Confesso que ando mortinha por experimentar!

The next product is the Triple Action Super BB Cream by Skin 79. This is a brand that has a huge range of BB Creams, each one with specific characteristics. This one promises a triple action: improving the skin's appearance through its lightening effect, sunscreen (SPF25) and anti-wrinkle. I confess I've been dying to try it!

 

O último produto da gama BB é o Ideal Flawless BB da Avon. Este é um dos BB Creams mais completos, pois é 10 em 1: contém activos antioxidantes que combatem os radicais livres, prevenindo assim o envelhecimento precoce da pele; ajuda a tornar a pele mais radiante, devido aos seus minerais; hidrata durante 24horas; uniformiza a tez; reduz a vermelhidão; reduz as imperfeições; tem cobertura leve; não obstrui os poros; tem proteção solar (SPF15) e deixa a pele mais bonita após o seu uso. Depois de pesquisar sobre este produto, fiquei cheia de vontade de o experimentar e acho que vou contactar a Ana e encomendá-lo. O que acham? 

The last product in the BB range is the Ideal Flawless BB by Avon. This is one of the most complete BB Creams, it’s 10 in 1: it contains active antioxidants that fight free radicals, preventing skin premature aging; helps making the skin more radiant, due to its minerals; hydrates during 24 hours; evens the complexion; reduces redness; reduces imperfections; has light coverage; doesn’t clog the pores; has sun protection (SPF15) and leaves the skin more beautiful after its use. After searching about this product, I was full of desire to try it and I think I'll contact Ana and order it. What do you think?

 

E o primeiro produto da gama CC é o CC Cream da Clinique. É um produto mais dispendioso a nível monetário, mas promete ser altamente hidratante com uma cobertura luxuosa e um elevado tratamento da pele. 

And the first product in the CC range is the CC Cream by Clinique. It’s a more expensive product, but it promises to be highly moisturizing with luxurious coverage and a high skin treatment.

  
O produto seguinte é o Ideal Flawless CC da Avon. Este é dado como a evolução do BB Cream da mesma marca, tendo uma melhor cobertura. Possui propriedades clareadoras, o que ajuda no combate das indesejáveis manchas, reduz também as linhas de expressão mais marcadas e ajuda a controlar a oleosidade da pele, além das suas propriedades hidratantes. Como sabem a Ana é revendedora AVON, por isso se quiserem algum produto já sabem com quem falar. Eu vou certamente encomendar o meu! 

The next product is the Ideal Flawless CC by AVON. This is given as the evolution of the BB Cream from the same brand, but it has a better coverage. It has brightening properties, which help fighting undesirable spots, it also reduces more marked expression lines and helps control the oiliness of the skin, in addition to its moisturizing properties. As you know Ana sells AVON, so if you want some product you already know with who you should talk. I’ll certainly order mine!

  

A L’ORÉAL Paris tem também já uma gama unicamente de CC Creams, cada um com as suas funções e características. Este é o Nude Magique CC Cream. Promete uma boa cobertura, aliada a uma óptima hidratação e um factor especial, que ajuda as peles fatigadas. Ando super curiosa com este produto!  

L'ORÉAL Paris has also a range of CC Creams, each one with its functions and features. This is the Nude Magique CC Cream. It promises good coverage, combined with great hydration and a special factor that helps tired skin. I've been super curious about this product!

And today I bring you a review. I have been trying so much new and amazing stuff and I feel that I have to share it with you. As you already know I sell AVON and I got to try the new body and hand cocoa butter creams. Let's get to know them?

A gama é constituída por 3 produtos e todos contém Vitamina E e Manteiga de Cacau e têm uma fórmula não gordurosa. São ideais para a pele seca pois os seus ingredientes são extremamente hidratantes.  

The range is constituted by 3 products and they all contain Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter and they have a non-greasy formula. They're ideal for dry skin because their ingredients are extremely hydrating.

Conditioning Moisture for Face, Hand & Body (400 ml)

Este creme é multiusos, isto é, pode ser utilizado no rosto, no corpo e nas mãos. Eu costumo colocá-lo depois do banho no corpo e estou completamente viciada. Sabem aqueles cremes que vocês colocam no corpo e dá realmente gosto espanhá-lo no corpo e sentir a pele a absorvê-lo? E o cheiro a cacau é tão delicioso que fico com vontade de comê-lo! 
This cream is suitable for several areas of our body, I mean, it can be used on the face, on the body and on the hands. I usually use it after shower on the body and I'm completely addicted to it. Do you know those kind of creams that you can use on your body and you really like to spread it and you feel your skin absorbing it? And the smell of cocoa is so delicious that I just want to eat it! 

É um creme mais espesso (mas muito fácil de espalhar) e por isso aconselhado para peles secas. 

It's a more thick cream (but really easy to spread) and thus suitable for dry skin.

   

Conditioning Moisture Body Lotion (400 ml)

A loção corporal tem uma consistência um pouco mais liquída mas continua a ser indicado para peles secas, cheira igualmente bem e deixa a pele com um brilho natural. Na campanha actual o seu preço é 4,50€.

The body lotion has a consistency that is a little bit more liquid but it's still suitable for dry skins, it smells equally good and leaves the skin with a natural glow. In the current campaign its price is 4,50€.

  

Revitalising Moisture Hand Cream (100 ml)

E claro o creme maravilhoso de mãos, que aplico antes de ir dormir e que deixa as minhas mãos muito mais macias e hidratadas, muito importante no Inverno pois o frio resseca as nossas mãos. O cheiro do cacau é realmente viciante e hidratante! Na campanha actual o seu preço é 3,90€.

And of course the wonderful hand cream that I apply before going to bed and that leaves my hands very soft and hydrated, which is so important in Winter because the cold dries our hands. The cocoa smell is really addicting and hydrating! In the current campaign its price is 3,90€.
