Advance Techniques Daily Shine Serum by AVON

Vamos terminar a semana com uma review. Como eu sei que vocês andam sempre à procura de novos produtos, novidades a preços acessíveis e que realmente funcionem, hoje quero falar-vos do Sérum para Pontas Secas da AVON (30 ml). A AVON já conta com uma grande gama de produtos para cabelo, mas este produto em especial surpreendeu-me. Como podem ver o frasco já terminou (isto é o que dá ter muito cabelo e necessitar de muita hidratação!) e mal conseguir vou comprar outro. 
Let's finish the week with a review. Because I know you're always looking for new products with affordable prices and that really work, today I want to tell you about the Dry Ends Serum by AVON (30 ml). AVON already has a great hair range, but this specific product surprised me. As you can see the bottle is over (that's what happens when we have too much hair that needs a lot of hydration) and as soon as I can I'll buy another one.

Este sérum é apropriado para todos os tipos de cabelo e, ao contrário de muitos produtos para o cabelo, ao aplicar não deixa o cabelo pegajoso, colado ou com aquela sensação de ficar molhado/oleoso. O cabelo fica muito hidratado sem ficar pesado, as pontas ficam mais cuidadas (embora continue a ser preciso um corte de vez em quando claro). Basta colocar duas ou três gotinhas na palma da mão, espalhar pelas mãos e passar no cabelo. Como é um sérum, basta colocar nas pontas e nunca na raiz, porque aí não haverá cabelo que aguente sem ficar oleoso rapidamente.
This serum is appropriate for all hair types and, on the contrary of a lot of hair products, when you apply it it doesn't leave the hair sticky, glued or with that wet/oily feeling. The hair gets really hydrated and not heavy, the ends look so treated (although you still need a cut once in a while of course). It's enough to put two or three drops on your hands, spread it and put it on your hair. Because it's a serum, it's enough to put it on the ends and never on the roots, because then there's no hair that lasts without getting oily.

 

O frasco poderia ser um bocadinho maior? Sim, podia! Porém, a embalagem é bastante prática e o pump dá imenso jeito para apenas deitar a quantidade de produto que precisamos. 
The bottle could be a little bigger? Yes, it could! However, the package is very practical and the pump is great so you can only drop the quantity of product you need.

Só de olhar fico maravilhada (a babar mesmo!). Todo o visual da colecção é fantástico! Marc Jacobs decidiu apostar no visual exterior dos produtos e na qualidade. As embalagens são fantásticas! Com aquele efeito espelhado muito modernista e tudo num formato muito prático, em stick. 

I’m enchanted just looking at it (drooling actually!). The look from the collection is fantastic! Marc Jacobs decided to bet on the exterior visual of the products and on the quality. The packaging is fantastic! With that mirrored effect, very modern and in a practical format, everything in a stick form. 

Mostro-vos agora mais detalhadamente alguns produtos desta fantástica linha. 

I now show you in more detail some products from this fantastic line. 

Comecemos pela minha grande perdição… batons! Estes são os Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick. São batons de longa duração e têm várias cores, desde os tons nude aos mais vibrantes. A embalagem é giríssima! Quando fechados parecem lápis, depois de abrir são os típicos batons em formato de stick, que agora está muito em voga. Ai adorooo! 

Let's start with my big disgrace ... lipsticks! These are the Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick. These lipsticks are long lasting and have various colors, since the nude tones to the more vibrant ones. The packaging is gorgeous! When closed they seem like pencils, after opening them they are the typical lipsticks in a stick format, which is now very much in vogue. I love that so much! 

Como o tema da linha é o modernismo, todos os produtos são num formato muito moderno, como é o caso da maquilhagem em stick. E as sombras de olhos não fugiram à regra. Estas são as Twinkle Pop Eye Stick. São sombras de olhos no inovador formato de stick, o que também é muito prático para aplicar. Todas são de acabamento shimmer, para um look cheio de glamour. Existem 9 cores diferentes, das mais neutras às mais arrojadas. São lindas, não são? 

Because the entire line is modern, all the products are in a very modern format, as it is the case of makeup in a stick. And the eye shadows are no exception. These are the Twinkle Pop Eye Stick. They are eye shadows in the innovative stick format, which is also very practical to apply. They all have a shimmer finish for a glamorous look. There are 9 different colors, from the most neutral to the bolder ones. They're beautiful, aren’t they? 

Seguimos agora para uma grande novidade no mundo da maquilhagem! Este é o produto chave da linha, pelo qual Marc Jacobs quer vir a ser reconhecido. Este é o formato das bases desta fantástica colecção. Toda a linha está em formato stick, mas já existem bases nesse formato. Logo, Marc Jacobs decidiu inovar neste produto. Esta é a Smart Wand Tinted Face Stick. É uma base em roll-on! Diz ser uma base inovadora, de alta cobertura, mas de acabamento leve, obtendo assim um visual natural. Promete ser prática de aplicar e tem o formato ideal para levarmos connosco no nosso dia-a-dia. Está disponível em 4 tons diferentes. Fiquei morta de curiosidade quanto a este produto! 

Now let's move to a great novelty in the makeup world! This is the key product from the line, with which Marc Jacobs wants to be recognized for. This is the format from the foundations of this fantastic collection. The entire line is in a stick format, but there are already foundations in this format. So, Marc Jacobs decided to innovate with this product. This is the Smart Wand Tinted Face Stick. It’s a roll-on foundation! It claims to be an innovative foundation, with high coverage, but a lightweight finish, giving a natural look. It promises to be practical to apply and has the ideal format for us to take it in our day-to-day. It’s available in 4 different shades. I’m dying of curiosity about this product! 

E o ultimo produto desta linha diz ser uma inovadora máscara de pestanas. Marc Jacobs diz mesmo que é um produto que veio para revolucionar os nossos dias de maquilhagem. É a Lash Lifter-Gel Volume Mascara. Uma máscara de pestanas em gel, que promete alongar, dar volume e aquele efeito encaracolado às pestanas. É também o primeiro produto deste género de longa duração. 

And the last product from the line claims to be an innovative mascara. Marc Jacob states that it is a product that came to revolutionize our makeup days. It's the Lash Lifter-Gel Volume Mascara. A gel mascara that promises to lengthen, give volume and that curly effect to the eyelashes. It’s also the first product of this kind being long lasting. 

Confesso que amei toda a linha! Desde os produtos, às cores, às fantásticas embalagens, até ao inovador formato! Ainda não há confirmações se a nova linha de maquilhagem de Marc Jacobs chegará a Portugal, mas entretanto já ficam a conhecê-la. Esta colecção já está disponível nas lojas em Paris, por isso as meninas que forem viajar aproveitem e dêem uma espreitadela. 

I confess that I loved the entire line! From the products, to the colors, to he fantastic packaging, to the innovative format! There is still no confirmation whether the new makeup line from Marc Jacobs is coming to Portugal or not, but in the meantime you get to know it. This collection is now available in stores at Paris, so the girls who are traveling enjoy and take a sneak peek.

Contouring and Blush Palette by Sleek

Bom dia a todos! Como está a ser a vossa semana?
Morning everyone! How is your week going?

Hoje venho falar-vos de uma das minhas últimas aquisições de maquilhagem: a paleta de contorno e blush da Sleek (20g). A Joana já nos falou várias vezes das paletas de sombras da Sleek e de como elas são maravilhosas (por exemplo, aqui, aqui e aqui), mas quando vi esta paleta à venda na Sephora não resisti. Talvez uma das razões mais fortes foi a de ter três produtos num só e ser uma embalagem tão compacta e fácil de transportar. Quando fui de férias levei-a comigo e, apesar de ter levado mais um blush e um iluminador, acabei por nem os utilizar porque esta paleta tinha tudo o que eu precisava. 
Today I come to talk about one of my latest makeup acquisitions: the contouring and blush palette by Sleek (20g). Joana has spoken about the sleek palettes several times and has explained how amazing they are (for example here, here and here), but when I saw this palette at Sephora I couldn't resist. Maybe one of the strongest reasons was that it has three products in one and is such a compact and easy to transport package. When I went on vacation I brought it with me and, despite bringing another blush and highlighter with me, I ended up not even using them, because this palette had everything I needed.

A paleta é na cor Light 373 e contém um bronzer, um iluminador e um blush. Além disso, trás também um espelho de tamanho bastante razoável que se torna muito útil. Os produtos são todos muito fáceis de aplicar e, pelo preço que custou a paleta (à volta de 10€), bastante pigmentados e de óptima qualidade. 
The palette is in Light 373 and has a bronzer, a highlighter and a blush. Besides that, it also brings a mirror with a pretty reasonable size that is very useful. The products are all very easy to apply and, for the price of the palette (around 10€), are very pigmented and great quality.

O bronzer é pigmentado mas não é demasiado escuro. Utilizo-o no contorno do rosto e no nariz e dá-me um ligeiro bronze enquanto contorna o rosto perfeitamente e não deixa quaisquer marcas. O iluminador é perfeito para o dia-a-dia pois as partículas são muito pequeninas e a pele fica com um iluminado perfeito e nada exagerado. Costumo colocá-lo acima das bochechas e no arco da sobrancelha, dá um glow fantástico. O blush é talvez a parte que menos gosto nesta paleta. O rosa é muito bonito e fácil de aplicar, mas ao colocar no rosto quase não se nota. Eu gosto que o blush seja discreto mas que ainda assim se note, pois o propósito é esculpir um pouco o rosto e dar-lhe cor. Este blush talvez seja discreto demais para mim, mas talvez funcione noutro tipo de pele mais clara.
The bronzer is pigmented but it's not too dark. I use it around the face and on my nose and it gives me a slight bronze while it contours my face perfectly and it doesn't leave any marks. The highlighter is perfect for the day because its particles are very small and the skin gets a perfect highlight and not exaggerated at all. I usually apply it above my cheeks and on my brow bone, it gives a fantastic glow. The blush is maybe the part that I like the least on this palette. The pink is very pretty and easy to apply, but when I apply it on my face it barely shows up. I like that a blush is discreet but that it shows also, because the purpose is to sculpt the face a little bit and give it some color. This blush is maybe too discreet for me, but it maybe work on someone with a lighter skin tone.

Em geral recomendo imenso esta paleta pela sua funcionalidade e pela qualidade dos três produtos. Digam-me o que acham se experimentarem.
In general I really recommend this palette by its functionality and by the quality of the three products. Tell me what do you think if you try it.
