A Love Story by Chloé

Hoje venho falar-vos de uma das prendas que recebi no Natal. Depois de andar a namorar este perfume nas perfumarias durante tantos meses, tive de o incluir na wishlist de natal com esperança que alguém mo oferecesse. Falo do Love Story da Chloé. Começamos logo bem, pelo nome, que suscita romance, amor, sofisticação... Depois passamos para a embalagem que é de morrer! Desde a caixa até ao frasco do perfume em si. Elegância, simplicidade, feminilidade, tudo o que uma mulher pode querer na sua colecção de perfumes e em cima da mesa do quarto.
Today I want to talk about one of the gifts I got for Christmas. After dating this perfume on the stores for so many months, I had to include it on my Christmas wishlist hoping that anyone would give it to me. I'm talking about the Love Story perfume by Chloé. We begin on the right note, with its name, that reminds me of romance, love, sophistication... Then we move to the package, which is to die for! From the box until the bottle of the perfume itself. Elegance, simplicity, femininity, everything a woman could want in her collection of perfumes and on top of a table in her bedroom.

Passamos então ao mais importante num perfume: o seu cheiro! Este coffret incluia o perfume e uma loção para o corpo, ambos com o mesmo cheiro. Ainda não usei a loção para o corpo, mas com certeza vai ficar lindamente no resto do corpo, tal como fica o perfume no pescoço e nos pulsos.
We then move to the most important thing on a perfume: its smell! This coffret included the perfume and the body lotion, both with the same smell. I haven't used the body lotion yet, but I'm sure it will be beautiful on the rest of the body, just as the perfume is on the neck and wrists.

O Love Story é descrito como uma fragrância feminina, sofisticada e sensual. E eu não podia concordar mais! É sempre difícil explicar como é uma fragrância através de um texto, mas imaginem a junção da frescura da flor de laranjeira, com a feminilidade do jasmin e a sensualidade do cedro. O resultado é um perfume fresco, floral e sensual que perdura na pele e nos deixa confiantes. É acima de tudo um símbolo de amor, paixão e sensualidade que nos dá vontade de criar a nossa própria história de amor. Como já devem ter percebido, estou rendida! Já experimentaram o Love Story? Love Story is described as a feminine, sophisticated and sensual fragrance. And I couldn't agree more! It's always hard to describe a fragrance through text, but imagine a mix of the freshness of the orange blossom, the femininity of the Jasmin and the sensuality of cedar. The result is a fresh, floral and sexy perfume that lasts on the skin and leaves us confident. It's above all a symbol of love, passion and sensuality that makes us want to create our own love story. Bom ano a todos! Este é o meu primeiro post deste ano!

Happy new year everyone! This is my first post of the year! 

O ano mudou, mas a minha paixão por maquilhagem não. Por isso começamos o ano com novidades fresquinhas! 

The year has changed, but my passion for makeup has not. So we begin the year with fresh news! 

Com a chegada do novo ano, algumas marcas de renome lançam também novos produtos. Assim começamos o ano mesmo em grande! 

With the arrival of the new year, some well known brands also launch new products. Let's start the year the best way possible!

Hoje venho falar-vos sobre o novo lançamento da Too Faced. Depois de ter lançado a paleta Chocolate Bar, que teve um enorme sucesso no mundo da maquilhagem, a marca decidiu fazer mais uma versão da paleta mais doce da história da maquilhagem. Esta é a Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar! Com uma embalagem num tom ligeiramente mais claro, continua na mesma linha de se assemelhar a um chocolate. 

Today I'll tell you about the new release by Too Faced. After having launched the Chocolate Bar palette, which was a huge success in the makeup world, the brand decided to make another version from the sweetest palette from the history of makeup. This is the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar! With a package in a slightly lighter tone, it continues following the same line resembling a chocolate. 

Apesar de por fora ser muito semelhante, os tons das sombras são bastante diferentes. Continua na linha dos neutros e tem tons mais quentes do que a primeira paleta. Apesar de tudo, temos uma grande variedade de sombras e conseguimos obter vários looks. Para ser sincera, gosto muito mais dos tons desta paleta do que da Chocolate Bar. Acho que não vou resistir a esta! 

Although on the outside they're very similar, the eyeshadow tones are quite different. It continues on the neutral line and has warmer tones comparing to the first palette. Despite that, we have a variety of eye shadows and we can get several looks. To be honest, I like the tones from this palette a lot more. I think I will not resist to this one! 

Para quem ainda tem prendas de Natal atrasadas para oferecer é uma óptima escolha, pois qualquer amante de maquilhagem gosta de ter uma boa paleta de sombras, principalmente se for novidade. Ou até mesmo um presente para vocês mesmos (que é o que eu vou fazer ahaha). 

For those of you that still have Christmas presents to offer, this is a great choice. Any makeup lover likes to have a good eyeshadow palette, especially if it’s a new one. Or you can get it as a gift to yourself (which is what I'm gonna do ahaha).

The last day of 2014

Espero que o vosso ano tenha começado melhor do que o meu, que começou com dores de garganta, sem voz e constipada. Mas agora já estou melhor e pronta para o primeiro post deste novo ano. Hoje vamos até ao último dia de 2014, em Portimão, onde fui passar duas noites com o meu amor. O tempo estava maravilhoso, tal como eu gosto, com frio mas muito sol. Assim até sabe bem passear. Aproveitámos o dia para ir visitar a cidade. Fomos até à Praia da Rocha, ao Forte de Santa Catarina, à marina e ao Aqua Portimão. Foi a maneira perfeita de terminar o ano. Namorar à beira-mar, sentir aquela sensação de ter a cara gelada mas ao mesmo tempo sentir o sol a aquecer-nos o corpo de tal forma que já não se aguentam os cachecóis e as luvas, sentir a brisa do mar, observar os barcos a entrar e a sair da marina, ver as gaivotas a voar mesmo por cima das nossas cabeças... Um dia perfeito.
I hope your year has started better than mine, which started with a sore throat, without voice and with the flu. But now I'm all better and ready for the first post of this new year. Today we're traveling to the last day of 2014, in Portimão, where I spent two nights with my love. The weather was amazing, just how I like it, with cold but really sunny. We went to visit the city on the first day. We went to Praia da Rocha, Forte de Santa Catarina, to the marina and to Aqua Portimão. It was the perfect way to finish the year. Dating by the sea, having that feeling of a cold face but at the same time feeling the sun heating our bodies in such a way that we could no longer have scarfs and gloves on, feeling the sea breeze, watching the boats going in and out of the marina, watching the seagulls flying right above our heads... A perfect day.

Este casaco é sem dúvida um dos meus preferidos! Eu adoro tudo o que tenha este tom camel, pois acho tão clean e sofisticado. Consigo facilmente combiná-lo com um look preto mas consigo também conjugá-lo com castanhos, mais especificamente da mala e das botas over the knee. Como todo o outfit estava muito sóbrio, juntei-lhe um cachecol com apontamentos coloridos. Eu recebi este cachecol há alguns anos no Natal e foi totalmente feito à mão pela minha tia e uma das minhas primas. Além do valor sentimental, é super quente e perfeito para estes dias em que as temperaturas rondam os 0 graus.
This coat is definitely one of my favorites! I love everything that has this camel color, because I think it's so clean and sophisticated. I can easily combine it with a black look but I can also mix it with browns, more specifically the bag and the over the knee boots. And because the entire outfit was so sober, I added a scarf with colorful details. I received this scarf some years ago on Christmas and it was totally handmade by my aunt and one of my cousins. Besides the sentimental value, it's super warm and perfect for these days when the temperatures are around 0.
