Today we finish the week with the last day we spent in Vienna. Vienna was the city where Mozart became famous and reached the top of his musical career. As such, references to him are spread everywhere. We had been to Mozart Cafe in the first day (here), which is right behind the Opera, and on this day we decided to go to his house first thing in the morning. The entire building where he used to live is now a space for the exhibition. We learned a lot about his life, his career, the difficulties he faced and we left even more in love with his music.

As I mentioned on the last post (here), the day before we managed to find the Stephansdom but it was so late that the photos turned out very dark. As the Mozart's House was right next to it, we went back there so I could shoot during the day. This is the most emblematic cathedral in Vienna and it has been since Middle Age the spiritual centre for all Vienna inhabitants.
It's amazing how in every corner we would find something so wonderful that it had to be photographed and it would make us stop or change our direction. This time it was Peterskische, which is very curious because it looks like it was built with a mold, because it's located in a very narrow place among the buildings.

Next stop: Jewish Quarter. We really wanted to go to this area to see the Holocaust Memorial, which grabs our attention as soon as we arrive to Judenplatz. This Memorial evokes the 65 000 Austrian Jews who died during the Second World War and when we got there someone had left flowers as an homage. In that same area we also went to see two museums dedicated to Austrian jews history.

The last museum we went in Vienna was Madame Tussauds. And visiting this museum is always a party, right? The one in London was definitely my fave until today, but the one in Vienna is also very fun and it has something I never saw in London, or Dublin, props so we can dress up just like the wax figures. You can already imagine what's coming, total fun!
