Claro que eu não ia de férias sem me despedir dos meus leitores queridos. Amanhã irei para Vilamoura, finalmente vou de férias, e queria deixar-vos com esta mensagem para não pensarem que eu me esqueci de vocês ou do blog. Isso nunca acontece, mas eu ainda não tive férias este ano e mal terminei a faculdade comecei logo a trabalhar, por isso sinto-me mesmo no limite. Este Verão não tem corrido da melhor maneira, por isso espero que agora melhore e que consiga voltar com as forças recarregadas e cheia de energia para o blog e para todos os meus objectivos pessoais e profissionais.

Of course I wasn't going on vacation without saying goodbye to my dear readers. Tomorrow I'll be going to Vilamoura, I'll finally go on vacation, and I wanted to leave you this message so you don't think I forgot you or the blog. That never happens, but I haven't had a break this year and as soons as I finished college I started working the next day, so I'm feeling right on the edge. This Summer hasn't been great, so I really hope it gets better now and that I can return with my bateries charged and full of energy for the blog and for all my personal and professional goals.

Não vou de férias sem pensar em vocês claro, por isso irei levar a minha máquina fotográfica e irei fotografar todos os momentos que conseguir, para vir cheia de conteúdo para vos mostrar. Vocês sabem que eu adoro partilhar todas as minhas viagens com vocês, e estas férias não vão ser excepção.

I'm not going on vacation without thinking about you of course, so I will be taking my camera and I'll photograph all the moments I can, so I can return with lots of content to show you. You know I love sharing all my trips with you, and this one won't be an exception.

De qualquer forma irei ter sempre acesso ao telemóvel e irei partilhar todos os momentos do meu dia-a-dia no meu instagram aqui e no facebook também claro, por isso se ainda não me seguem toca a seguir e assim podemos estar mais próximos uns dos outros e eu posso partilhar um pouco das minhas férias convosco diariamente :)

Hoje temos um review! Já todos sabem da minha adoração pelos produtos da marca NARS. E principalmente os blushes! Um dos mais vendidos da marca é o Orgasm (sim, nome estranho para um blush, é verdade) e é o meu favorito e é lindooo! Pois bem, agora a marca lançou uma linha de iluminadores líquidos para complementar cada blush. É óbvio que numa visita à Sephora não consegui resistir ao novo iluminador da Nars, o Orgasm!

Today we have a review! Everyone knows about my passion for the NARS products. And especially the blushes! One of the best sellers of the brand is Orgasm (yes, a weird name for a blush, that’s true) and it’s my favorite and is beautifuuull! Well, now the brand has launched a line of liquid illuminators to complement each blush. Obviously that on a trip to Sephora I couldn’t resist to the new Nars Illuminator, Orgasm!

Este é o Iluminador Orgasm! A embalagem é giríssima e super prática! Vem neste feitio de bisnaga, o que torna a dosagem do produto muito mais fácil e assim corremos menos riscos de desperdiçar produto. Devido ao seu prático design é também fácil de transportar no dia-a-dia.
This is the Orgasm Illuminator! The packaging is really fantastic and super practical! It comes in this shape of tube, which makes the dosage of the product much easier and so we run less risks of wasting any product. Due to its practical design it’s also easy to carry on day-to-day.

A cor é exactamente a mesma que a do blush, mas o subtil brilho do blush foi aqui mais valorizado. Pois como este produto é um iluminador, é normal que o brilho seja mais evidente. Utilizado em conjunto com o blush fica fantástico. Além da subtil coloração, o brilho deste iluminador é o ideal. Não fica demasiado “brilhante”, dá apenas um “glow” especial à pele. E agora no Verão fica deslumbrante! 
The color is exactly the same as the blush, but the subtle glow of the blush is more valued here. Because this product is an illuminator, it’s normal that the brightness is more evident. When used together with the blush it looks fantastic. Besides the subtle coloring, the brightness of the illuminator is ideal. It’s not too "bright", it gives just a special "glow" to the skin. And now for the summer it looks gorgeous!

Este é o meu iluminador Orgasm (não é lindo este bebé?). Já o uso há algumas semanas e estou a amá-lo! Dá aquele brilho fantástico à pele e a cor é linda! A embalagem conta com 30ml de glamour. É um produto um pouco dispendioso monetariamente, mas a marca no geral é sempre assim e os produtos valem muito a pena!
This is my Orgasm illuminator (isn’t this baby lovely?). I’ve use this for a few weeks and I'm loving it! It gives that fantastic glow to the skin and the color is beautiful! The package includes 30ml of pure glamour. It's a little expensive, but the brand in general is always like that and the products are really worth it!

Mostro-vos agora como este produto fica na pele. Na primeira parte da imagem o produto está minimamente espalhado, basicamente é este o efeito que dá à pele. Na segunda parte da imagem podem ver o produto directamente aplicado na pele antes de espalhar. Como podem ver, a sua textura é bastante cremosa e fácil de espalhar, costumo aplicar mesmo com os dedos, pois assim aqueço o produto e este funde-se melhor com a pele. A sua pigmentação é fantástica, tal como a durabilidade! Consigo chegar ao final do dia e ainda ver aquele brilho glamoroso no meu rosto.
I now show you how this product gets into the skin. In the first part of the picture the product is spread, basically this is the effect that it gives to the skin. In the second part of the picture you can see the product directly applied to the skin before spreading it. As you can see, the texture is very creamy and easy to spread, I usually apply it with the fingers, to warm up the product and therefore it blends better with the skin. The pigmentation is great, such as the durability! I can get to the end of the day and still see that glamorous glow on my face.


Confesso que nunca fui muito amante de iluminadores líquidos, mas este sem dúvida que mudou a minha opinião. Se já amava o blush Orgasm, agora também amo o iluminador. A combinação não poderia ser mais perfeita e a ideia de lançar uma gama de iluminadores iguais aos blushes foi simplesmente fantástica! Nars, estão de parabéns! 
I confess that I was never a big fan of liquid illuminators, but this one without a doubt changed my opinion. If I loved the Orgasm blush, now I also love the illuminator. The combination couldn’t be more perfect and the idea of ​​launching a range of illuminators with the same color of the blushes was just fantastic! Nars, congratulations!

Este é o único pó que faz parte desta nova linha. Como é uma linha de verão, óbvio que tinha de ter um bronzer, este é em versão compacta e com um padrão tribal. Tem como nome Inti Inka (muito índio, não é?).

This is the only powder from the collection. It's a summer makeup line, so obviously it had to have a bronzer, this one is in a compact version and with a tribal print. Its name is Inka Inti (very indian, right?).

Ainda na categoria de rosto, temos o blush. Este é um blush líquido que vem nesta prática embalagem em formato de bisnaga. É cor-de-rosa, tal como a embalagem, e chama-se Waka-Waka.

Still in the face category, we have the blush. This is a liquid blush that comes in this practical package in a tube. It's pink as the package and it's called Waka-Waka.

Numa colecção de verão não podia faltar um produto que combatesse a oleosidade. Estes são uns papéis absorventes de oleosidade, ideais para esta época do ano. A embalagem é muito gira, cheia de motivos tribais e traz 50 papéis absorventes. Este produto tem como nome Matte Me Pacha Tulum.

A summer collection had to have a product that would fight the oiliness of the skin. These are oiliness absorbing papers, ideal for this time of year. The package is very cute, full of tribal motifs and it brings 50 absorbent papers. This product has the name of Matte Me Pacha Tulum.

Desta vez, em vez de sombras a Essence decidiu apostar em pigmentos. Existem 4 cores diferentes, para que consigamos fazer vários looks.

Movie time! (now during the week)

Olá a todos! Como foi o vosso fim-de-semana? Eu já conto os dias para terminar esta semana e ir finalmente de férias. Em relação ao post de hoje, já devem ter reparado que esta rubrica antes era colocada no blog aos Domingos, mas a partir de hoje começará a ser colocada durante a semana, e sempre que eu tiver uma boa quantidade de filmes para vos recomendar. Faz mais sentido eu juntar os últimos filmes que vi e falar-vos de todos de uma só vez, em vez de falar de um a um, certo? (Decidi também juntar uma novidade nesta rubrica. Irei classificar os filmes de 0 a 5, com estrelinhas, de forma a vocês saberem quais foram os meus favoritos e quais os que menos gostei). E se há algo que eu gosto de fazer é estar a par dos últimos filmes que saíram e depois vos poder recomendar. Ultimamente tenho visto bastantes (a maior parte saiu recentemente), por isso está na altura de vos falar um pouco sobre eles e, quem sabe, dar-vos ideias de filmes para verem durante as vossas férias ou fins-de-semana. Então vamos a isso.
Hi everyone! How was your weekend? I'm already counting the days to finish this week and finally go on vacation. Concerning today's post, you probably have noticed that this rubric was usually posted on Sundays, but since today it will be posted during the week, and when I have a good amount of movies to recommend you. It makes more sense to join all the movies that I saw and talk about them once, than one by one, right? (I also joined something new to this rubric. I will classify the movies from 0 to 5, with little stars, so you can know which were my favorites and which were the ones I liked the least). And if there is something I like doing is to catch up on the last movies and recommend them to you. Lately I have seen a lot of them (most of them recent), so it's time to tell you a little bit about them and, who knows, give you some ideas so you can watch them on your vacation or weekends. So let's do this.

Maleficent (****)

Quem não conhece a "Bela Adormecida"? Neste filme temos a história da vilã de um dos filmes mais clássicos da Disney e a história de como os elementos da sua traição lhe transformaram o coração em pedra. Maléfica lança uma cruel maldição sobre Aurora, a filha dos reis, e à medida que esta cresce vai ser apanhada no meio do conflito entre o reino da floresta, que ela aprendeu a amar, e o reino humano, ao qual ela pertence.
Who doesn't know the "Sleeping Beauty"? In this movie we have the story of the villain from one of the most classic Disney movies and the story of how the elements of her betrayal transformed her heart into stone. Maleficent launches a cruel curse on Aurora, the king's daughter, and while she grows up she will be caught in the middle of this conflict between the kingdom of the woods, that she learned to love, and the human kingdom, to which she belongs.

A million ways to die in the west (**)

Em Mil e Uma Maneiras de Morrer no Oeste temos a história de um cobarde pastor de ovelhas que consegue, por sorte, escapar de um tiroteio. Quando a sua namorada o deixa por outro homem, uma bela mulher aparece na cidade e vai ajudá-lo a encontrar a sua coragem. O problema é que eles se apaixonam e o marido da bela mulher chega à cidade à procura de vingança. É nessa altura que Albert terá de mostrar a sua coragem.
In this movie we have the story of a coward shepherd that manages to escape from a gunshot. When his girlfriend leaves him for another man, a beautiful woman appears on the city and will help him to find his courage. The problem is that they fall in love and her husband arrives looking for revenge. It's on that moment that Albert will have to show his courage.

 The Heat (2013) (***)

Armadas e Perigosas conta a história de Sarah Ashburn, uma agente metódica do FBI, com uma excelente reputação e muita arrogância, e de Shannon Mullins, uma detective de Boston com métodos muito pouco convencionais e temperamental. Estas duas personalidades incompatíveis vão ter de se juntar, unir forças e capturar um barão da droga. Juntas irão ter de enfrentar uma poderosa rede de crime.
The Heat tells the story of Sarah Ashburn, a methodical FBI agent, with an excellent reputation and arrogance, and Shannon Mullins, a Boston detective with very unconventional methods and temperamental. These two incompatible personalities with have to join their forces and capture a drug dealer. Together they will face a very powerful crime network.

Transformers: Age of extinction (****)

Os Transformers voltaram com um novo elenco e com novos Transformers, os Dinobots. Um mecânico de automóveis e a sua filha fazem uma descoberta surpreendente que irá trazer de volta os Autobots e os Decepticons, além de um funcionário paranoico que os persegue e vai colocar as suas vidas em perigo.
Transformers are back with a new cast and new Transformers, the Dinobots. A mechanic and his daughter discover something amazing that will bring the Autobots and the Decepticons back, besides a paranoiac man that will hunt them and put their lives in danger. 

Dawn of the planet of the apes (****)

The Nut job (***)

O Gangue do Parque conta a história do esquilo Flecha que é expulso do parque da cidade e tem de encontrar outra forma de sobreviver. Com o seu fiel companheiro Migo, encontra um lugar de sonho, uma loja repleta de frutos secos. O problema é que a loja não está abandonada e Flecha vai ter de reunir uma equipa e elaborar um plano para invadir a loja e roubar toda a comida para conseguir sobreviver durante o inverno.
This movie tells the story of a squirrel that is expelled from the city park and has to find a way to survive. With his loyal friend next to him, he finds a dream place, a store full of nuts. The problem is that the store is not abandoned and he will have to reunite a team and elaborate a plan to invade the store and steal the food so he can survive through winter.

A small confidence + my sale picks at Venca

Bom dia a todos! Como está a ser o vosso mês de Agosto? Espero que o meu melhore rapidamente, porque entre receber más notícias consecutivamente, até estar doente e não sair de casa durantes uns dias, este Verão não está a ser dos melhores definitivamente. I really hope mine gets better fast, because between consecutive bad news, to being sick and not leaving the house for a couple of days, this Summer is definitely not being one of the best ones. But now let's hope it gets better, because I'm finally going on vacation! After a lot of thinking, I finally decided that I'll be going to Vilamoura with my parents on the last two weeks of August. Later my boyfriend will meet us there and will spend a week with us (and his birthday too). I'm already dreaming with those two weeks and I can barely wait until they arrive.
