TREND NOW: Dublin Day IV & V

Chegámos ao fim da nossa viagem! Hoje vou mostrar-vos as fotos do dia IV e V em Dublin. Começámos o quarto dia por Trinity College, a zona das universidades, onde visitámos a exposição Book of Kells. De seguida fomos até ao Wax Museum. Estávamos com algum receio que tivesse imagens muito parecidas ao Madame Tussaud que tinhamos visto em Londres, mas não tem nada a ver! O Wax Museum de Dublin foca-se muito mais na própria história da cidade, começando nos Vikings (lembram-se de vos ter mostrado a Dublinia?) e acabando nas personagens da actualidade. Depois fomos até ao National Museum of Ireland, que é um pouco mais parecido com o Natural History Museum de Londres. Ainda assim divertimo-nos imenso nestes dois locais.

We have arrived to the end of our trip! Today I will show you the pictures from day IV and V in Dublin. We started the forth day in Trinity College, the area of all the Universities, where we visited the Book of Kells exhibition. Next we went to the Wax Museum. We were affraid it would have a lot of similar figures from the Madame Tussaus that we had seen in London, but no! The Wax Museum in Dublin focuses a lot more on Dublin's history, starting with the Vikings (do you remember me showing you Dublinia?) and finishing off with today's characters. Then we went to the National Museum of Ireland, which is a little bit similar to the London Natural History Museum. But we still had a lot of fun in both of those places.

O dia acabou na Number 29, the Georgian House Museum, em que infelizmente não se podiam tirar fotos nem filmar. A Number 29 foi uma das atracções que gostei mais! É uma casa Georgiana reconstruída, que foi ocupada pela primeira vez em 1794. Foi totalmente decorada como na época e a visita guiada leva-nos desde a cave até ao sótão. Fiquei fascinada e aconselho muito a quem está a pensar ir a Dublin.

The day finished in the Number 29, the Georgian House Museum, in which unfortunately we couldn't take any photos or film. The Number 29 was one of my favorite attractions! It's a Georgian House totally rebuilt, that was occupied for the first time in 1794. It was decorated with furnitures from those times and the tour leads us from the basement to the attic. I was fascinated and I really advise you to go there when visiting Dublin.

No último dia só nos restava ir ver a bela St. Patricks Cathedral, um dos maiores símbolos de Dublin. A Catedral é maravilhosa e foi uma óptima forma de terminar a nossa viagem.

On the last day it was only missing the beautiful St. Patricks Cathedral, one of the biggest symbols from Dublin. The Cathedral is beautiful and it was a great way to finish off our trip.
