Hoje é sábado e faz um mês que o meu avôzinho morreu. Apesar das imensas saudades que tenho dele e do seu carácter, a vida continua e estou feliz com a forma como a minha vida está neste momento. Tenho a certeza que onde quer que ele esteja está feliz e orgulhoso por mim também. Hoje à noite vou com o meu namorado para a Areia Branca durante dois dias, também merecemos descansar um bocadinho. Vou tentar ir actualizando o blog sempre, claro está :)

Today it's Saturday and it has been a month since my grandpa died. Despite the huge longing I have from him and his character, life goes on and I'm really happy about my life right now. I'm sure that wherever he is he's happy and proud for me too. Later me and my boyfriend will spend two days in Areia Branca, we deserve some rest too. I'll always try to update the blog, of course :) 

Mas hoje venho falar-vos de uma tendência que se tem visto muito nas passerelas e em muitas celebridades. Estou a falar dos famosos ear cuffs. Eles existem simples, em forma de cobra, com laços, com penas, e de muitas outras formas. O ear cuff cobre toda a orelha e dependendo do material pode ser bastante delicado e utilizado no trabalho, numa festa ou durante o dia-a-dia.  

But today I come to talk to you about a trend that has been seen a lot in the runways and among celebrities. I am talking about the famous ear cuffs. They exist in simple forms, in snake forms, with bows, with feathers, and various other shapes. The ear cuff covers all the ear and depending on the material it can be very delicate and used for work, for a party or during the day.

 

O importante é escolher o ear cuff que mais se adequa ao nosso estilo e não parecer que o brinco vai cair da orelha. Outro aspecto importante nesta tendência é nunca usar nas duas orelhas ao mesmo tempo e adequar o material do ear cuff para cada ocasião. Na outra orelha pode-se usar um brinco mais pequeno e que fique bem com o look total, ou mesmo nenhum brinco. Os ear cuffs tanto ficam bem com o cabelo preso como com um penteado mais arrojado, dando aquele ar mais rock&roll. Vamos então espreitar como as celebridades e os estilistas andam a usar esta peça tão marcante.
