Como vos tinha dito, a semana para mim ia ser mais curtinha porque hoje à noite estou de volta à casa de praia para comemorar mais um ano de casados dos papás eheh. Volto Domingo para Lisboa, e vou sempre actualizando o blog CLARO!

As I have told you, the week to me was going to be smaller because today at night I'm back to my beach house to commemorate my parent's marriage anniversary eheh. I'm back Sunday, and I will always be updating the blog OF COURSE!

Hoje venho então contar-vos a minha experiência com o IMAX.

Today I come to talk about my experience with IMAX.

 Para quem não conhece, o IMAX é a experiência cinematográfica mais moderna do mundo. É uma experiência tão real que além de vermos o filme, passamos a fazer parte dele. Esta tecnologia caracteriza-se por usar ecrãs gigantes (22x16 metros ou 36x30 metros), por ter uma resolução de imagem superior à das projecções normais, o que reduz a distância do espectador em relação ao ecrã, pelo uso de um leque diversificado de efeitos sonoros e pelo design especial da plateia. Desde a sala a toda a tecnologia, tudo está desenvolvido para nos fazer acreditar que fazemos parte da acção. 

To the ones that don't know, IMAX is the most modern cinematographic experience in the world. It's an experience so real that besides watching the movie, we are part of it. This technology is characterized by using giant screens (22x16 meters or 36x30 meters), by having an image resolution superior to the normal projections, which reduces the distance of the spectator to the screen, by the use of a diversify range of sound effects and by the special audience design. Since the room to all the technology, everything is developed to make us believe that we are part of the action.

• Todos os filmes são modificados digitalmente de forma a serem mais brilhantes, realistas e terem mais profundidade. 
• All the movies are digitally modified in order to be more brilliant, realistic and have more depth.
• Os sons são mais precisos, mais realistas, têm maior dinamismo e todas as salas IMAX estão acusticamente preparadas para tais sons.
• The sounds are more precise, realistic, have bigger dynamism and all the IMAX rooms are acoustically prepared for those sounds.
• O ecrã da sala IMAX é ligeiramente curvo, de uma parede a outra e do chão da sala até ao tecto. É maior do que o campo de visão do espectador, dando uma sensação de imersão no filme. 
• The screen of an IMAX room is slightly bent, from a wall to another wall and from the ground of the room to the ceiling. It's bigger than the spectator's view field, giving a sensation of immersion in the movie.
• O bilhete em Portugal custa 10 euros (com os óculos incluídos) e não tem qualquer desconto com cartão ZON, sendo claro diferente de país para país.
• The ticket costs 10 euros in Portugal (with the glasses included) and don't have any discount with ZON card, being different from country to country of course.

Ao início quando soube o preço achei um pouco exagerado, mas tinha de ir experimentar e fomos ver a Batalha do Pacífico. Valeu muito a pena! A qualidade de imagem, o som, a própria disposição da sala faz com que os 10 euros valham muito a pena. Superou imenso as minhas expectativas e para quem é fã de cinema recomendo muito, porque realmente parece que nós mesmos fazemos parte do filme. 

At the beginning when I heard the price I thought it was a bit too much, but I had to go try it and we went to see Pacific's Rim. It was so worthy! The images' quality, the sound, the room's arrangement make the 10 euros worthy. It overcame my expectations and to the ones who are fans of cinema I really recommend, because it really seems like we are part of the movie itself.

Trend: Maxi dresses

Já sabemos que as saias compridas estão muito na moda este Verão (post aqui), mas além das saias também os vestidos se têm visto compridos nas passereles e entre as celebridades. Seja para uma festa, para a praia ou mesmo para o dia-a-dia, existem modelos para todos os gostos.

As we already know long skirts are very trendy this Summer (post here), but beside the skirts, long dresses have also been seen in the runways and among celebrities. Either it's for a party, for the beach or even for day, there are models for all tastes.

 

Para a Primavera/ Verão os tecidos fluidos e leves são os mais queridos, tais como as cores mais vibrantes e alegres. Já existem vestidos compridos com todo o tipo de estampas e mais uma vez as estampas grandes só são amigas de pessoas mais magrinhas, como acontece com as calças estampadas (neste post). Para a noite ou para ocasiões mais especiais querem-se tecidos mais nobres, com brilhos e aplicações luxuosas. O importante é que um vestido comprido é das roupas mais versáteis que existe, com uns saltos altos está perfeito para a noite e com umas sandálias rasas perfeito para um dia descontraído.

To Spring/ Summer the fluid and light dresses are the most wanted, such as vibrant and happy colors. Now there are long dresses with all kind of prints and once again the big prints are only friends for skinny girls, as it happens with the printed pants (in this post). For the night or for special occasions what is wanted is noble materials, with shine and luxurious applications. The important is that a long dress is one of the most versatile clothes that exist, with high heels it's perfect for the night and with some flat sandals it's perfect for a relaxed day.

Last movies

Não é por estar na casa de praia que não vos venho falar dos filmes que vi durante a semana. É realmente nas férias que vejo mais filmes e aproveito para pôr tudo em dia. Os que vi nesta semana foram: Distrito 9, Gru, o Maldisposto 2 (ainda nos cinemas) e Oz, o Grande e Poderoso.

It's not because I'm in the beach house that I don't come to talk about the movies I saw this last week. It's really on vacation that I see more movies and try to catch on. The ones I saw this week were: District 9, Despicable me 2 (still in theaters) and Oz, the Great and Powerful.

Em Distrito 9, uma nave extraterrestre aparece na Terra e os humanos encontram um grupo de não-humanos refugiados. Enquanto não se decide o que fazer com eles, são enviados para um gueto - o Distrito 9 - e é a MNU que fica responsável por vigiá-los. Porém, o objectivo da MNU é descobrir o segredo de armas mais poderosas. Quando um agente da MNU, Wikus van der Merwe, contrai um vírus que começa a modificar o seu DNA este torna-se o homem mais procurado do Mundo e terá de se esconder no Distrito 9.
In District 9, an alien ship appears on Earth and humans find a group of non-humans refugees. While humans don't decide what to do with them, they're send to a ghetto - District 9 - and it's MNU that it's responsible to watch for them. However, the goal of MNU it's to find out the secret of powerful guns. When an agent of MNU, Wikus van der Merwe, contracts a virus that starts to change his DNA he becomes the most wanted man on Earth and will have to hide in District 9.

Mythic Oil - Nourishing Oil by L'Oréal Professional

Como o meu óleo hidratante para cabelo estava a acabar e apenas tinha o meu Gliss Hair Repair Oil Nutritive, de que falei neste post, decidi investir num novo. O da Gliss é muito bom mas penso que faz mais efeito com o cabelo seco, e quando deixo o meu cabelo secar sem produto nenhum ele fica muito seco por isso decidi comprar o novo óleo nutritivo da gama Mythic Oil da L'Oréal. Já o estou a usar há mais ou menos uma semana e hoje venho-vos contar a maravilha que este produto é.

Because my hair moisturizing oil was finishing and I just had my Gliss Hair Repair Oil Nutritive, that I talked about in this post, I decided to invest in a new one. The one from Gliss is very good but I think that it does more effect in dry hair, and when I let my hair dry without any product he gets dry so I decided to buy the new Nourishing Oil from the gamma Mythic Oil by L'Oreal. I've been using it for a week more or less and today I come to talk about the wonder this product is.

O óleo serve para todos os tipos de cabelo, tem 125 ml e é inspirado nas tradições orientais. Combina óleo de abacate e óleo de semente de uva e ajuda a nutrir os cabelos e adorna-os com um brilho mítico. O ideal é aplicar 1 a 2 gotas nos cabelos húmidos e começar pelas pontas, avançando até à coroa. O cabelo fica maleável, macio e facilmente deslizante. Também pode ser usado em cabelo seco para desembaraçar, iluminar os cabelos e selar as pontas duplas. Aprovadissimo!

 The oil is for all hair types, has 125 ml and it's inspired in the oriental traditions. It combines avocado oil and seed oil and helps nourishing the hair and decorates it with a mythic shine. The ideal is apply 1 to 2 drops in humid hair and start by the ends, going on until the crown. The hair will be malleable, soft and easily slippery. It also can be used in dry hair to untangle, illuminate the hair and seal the double ends. Really approved!

Trend - Printed pants

Hoje trago mais uma tendência que tem dado muito que falar e à qual vou aderir agora nos saldos, ou pelo menos tentar. As calças estampadas tanto podem ser usadas no Inverno como no Verão e quando são bem conjugadas com o resto da roupa não há como não arrasar. 

Today I bring you another trend that has been talked a lot and to which I will join now on sales, or try at least. The printed pants can be used in the Winter or in Summer and when are well conjugated with the rest of the outfit there's no possible mistake.

 

Desde flores, a padrão animal, a preto e branco (um dos looks que mais tenho usado ultimamente, um look em preto e branco não tem como errar), a riscas, a folhas e militarismo, há de tudo e é só saber escolher consoante o tipo de corpo e estilo de cada uma.

Since flowers, animal prints, black and white (one of the looks I have been using a lot lately, a black and white look never goes wrong), stripes, leafs and militarism, we have it all and we just have to know how to choose them depending on our body and personal style. 

Dica importante: Os padrões grandes só são aconselháveis às mais magrinhas, pois num corpo mais gordinho irá fazer com que pareça ainda maior. Para as mais discretas conjugar as calças estampadas com uma blusa lisa e uns sapatos no tom das calças é sempre boa ideia. Para as mais arrojadas e corajosas, podem apostar na conjugação das calças com padrões diferentes nas blusas e nos sapatos (como fez Olivia Palermo que conjugou umas calças florais com uns sapatos leopardo. Nunca erra aquela mulher!). A decisão é vossa, escolham a que acharem melhor para vocês.

Important tip: The bigger patterns are only advisable to skinny girls, because in a fatter body it only makes it look bigger. To the more discrete ones conjugate the printed pants with a simple blouse and shoes in the tone of the pants it's always a good idea. To the ones that are bolder and braver, you can always bet in conjugating the pants with different patterns in the blouses or in the shoes (like Olivia Palermo did when she conjugated floral pants with leopard shoes. That woman never goes wrong!). The choice is yours, choose what you think it's better for you.
