TREND NOW: Smile

Sorrir... algo que faço questão em fazer todos os dias, porque mesmo quando parece que estamos no fundo e tudo nos corre mal, há sempre algo que pode mudar a situação e tornar a vida muito mais completa, e esse algo somos nós. Não há ninguém que nos conhece melhor do que nós próprios, por isso quando a vida está lá em baixo sorriam, aproveitem as coisas boas da vida e, o mais importante de tudo, vão atrás dos vossos sonhos porque eles não se concretizam sozinhos. Há uns meses eu sentia-me assim, no fundo. As aulas estavam a terminar e não havia qualquer sinal do que iria ser o meu futuro. Eu sentia-me deprimida, triste e sem saber o que iria ser a minha vida quando a faculdade acabasse. Como sabia que o meu futuro não se ia decidir sozinho, decidi tomar o controlo e começar a fazer algo que o definisse. Foi assim que há uma semana atrás recebi uma das melhores notícias dos últimos tempos: dia 18 vou começar a trabalhar. Vou trabalhar em algo que também envolve a minha área de estudos, num sítio que é mesmo a minha cara e vou ter um horário bastante aceitável, algo que era muito importante para mim, para continuar a escrever no blog e ter tempo para mim e para as minhas coisas. Mas nada disto acontecia se eu não tivesse decidido mudar o meu futuro e sair daquela angústia. E agora estou ansiosa por começar uma nova fase da minha vida :)
Smiling... something I try to do every day in my life, because even when it seems that we're at the bottom, there is always something that can change that and make our life so much more complete, and that something is us. There's no one that knows us better than ourselves, so when life is miserable smile, enjoy the good things in life and , the most important thing, go after your dreams because they don't come true by themselves. A few months ago I was feeling like that, at the bottom. My classes were finishing and there was no sign of what would be my life after college. I knew my future wouldn't be decided alone, so I decided to take control and start doing something that would define it. That's why a week ago I received really good news: on the 18th I'll start working. I'll work on something also related to my studies, in a place that has everything to do with me and I'll have a reasonable schedule, which was really important to me, so I can continue writing on the blog and continue having time for me and for my things. But nothing would happen if I hadn't decided to change my future and stop having that horrible feeling. And now I'm excited to start a new stage in my life :)

Agora vamos ao post de hoje? O outfit que vos quero mostrar hoje foi algo que usei o fim-de-semana passado quando fui passear com o meu namorado e com o sobrinho dele. Tivemos uma tarde espectacular, e enquanto eles se divertiam a jogar à bola, eu deliciei-me com a vista do local onde estávamos e aproveitei a natureza. Sempre que descubro novos cantinhos em Lisboa apaixono-me pela minha cidade mais um bocadinho.
Now let's go to today's post? The outfit I want to show you today was something I wore last weekend when I went to walk with my boyfriend and his nephew. We had an amazing afternoon, and while they were playing futebol, I was delighted with the view from that place and enjoying the nature. Every time I discover a new little place in Lisbon I fall in love with my city a little bit more.

O outfit é algo MUITO simples, pois no fim-de-semana é mesmo assim que eu gosto de andar. Decidi vestir uns jeans (eu podia viver nestas calças se fosse possível eheh) e uma camisa branca, colocando a cor nas sandálias, que têm uma inspiração tribal que eu adoro. Espero que gostem das fotos e que tenham uma semana fantástica.
The outfit is something really simple, because on weekends that's how I like to be. I decided to dress some jeans (I could live on these jeans if I could eheh) and a white blouse, being the color only on my sandals, that have a tribal inspiration that I love.
