Continuamos com a nossa semana especial Festivais de Verão. Durante um festival, seja com campismo ou sem campismo, a mala que anda connosco durante o dia deve levar todos os essenciais de que precisamos. Além de um chapéu e de um agasalho para a noite, no caso do festival durar até à noite, pode haver uma emergência e podemos ter fome mas não podermos sair do local onde estamos, o mais certo é também termos sede e precisarmos de nos refrescar, e queremos ter tudo connosco para desta forma estarmos preparadas para o que vier. Por isso, aqui ficam alguns dos essenciais que não devem faltar na vossa mala quando vão para um festival.
We continue with our Summer Festival Special Week. During a festival, whether it includes camping or not, the bag we carry with us must have all the essentials that we need. Besides a hat and a coat for the night, in case the festival lasts until late, we may have an emergency and we may have hungry and not be able to leave the place where we are, and we sure are going to be thirsty and need to refresh ourselves, and we want to have everything we need with us so this way we're ready for whatever it comes. So, here are some of the essentials that you have to have in your bag when you're going to a festival.
1. Água: nem que seja uma garrafa pequenina, não pesa assim tanto e dá sempre jeito para quando se está a meio de um concerto e não se consegue ir comprar nada para beber.
Water: a small bottle doesn't weigh that much and it's always good to drink in the middle of a concert and when you can't leave to go buy something to drink.
2. Barra de cereais: o mesmo acontece quando aparece o ratinho, uma barra de cereais na mala pode salvar-vos o dia e tirar a fome durante uns momentos.
Cereal bar: the same happens when hungry appears, a cereal bar in the bag can save your day and satisfy you for some moments.
3. Bolsa de cosméticos: e a quem nunca aconteceu precisar de um penso ou de um tampão e ter de pedir às amigas um (não é vergonha nenhuma admitir)? Andem sempre prevenidas e guardem uns quantos numa bolsinha antes de sair de casa, assim como alguns pensos rápidos para alguma emergência. Além disso, lenços e alguns produtinhos milagrosos para retocar a maquilhagem são imprescendíveis (um pó com a respectiva esponjinha, um corrector, um lip balm, um batom e umas toalhitas para absorver a oleosidade da pele).
Cosmetics bag: and who never needed a pad or a tampon and had to ask for one to her friends (it's no shame to admit it)? Always go prevented and keep some in a little bag before leaving the house, just like some band-aids for some emergency. Besides that, tissues and some little miraculous products to retouch the makeup are indispensable (a powder with the respective sponge, a concealer, a lip balm, a lipstick and some shine eraser wipes).
4. Máquina fotográfica: para recordar todos os momentos do festival com os nossos amigos levem a vossa máquina fotográfica carregadinha e cheia de espaço no cartão de memória.
Camera: to remember all the moments from the festival with our friends bring your machine charged and full of space in the memory card.
5. Telemóvel carregado: também o telemóvel deve ir com a bateria no máximo para poderem ir partilhando as novidades nas redes sociais e também para o caso de precisarem de fazer uma chamada ou mandar uma mensagem com urgência.

6. Dinheiro e cartões: no meu caso acho muito mais prático não levar a carteira cheia de cartões, pois já sei que não irei usar metade, mas cada um faz como preferir. É muito mais fácil levar apenas o cartão de identidade, o cartão bancário, para se for preciso, e dinheiro na mão, pois torna-se complicado levantar dinheiro nos festivais.
Money and cards: in my case I think it's so much more practical to not bring the entire wallet full of cards, because I already know I won't use half of them, but everyone does how they prefer. It's so much easier to bring the ID card, the bank card, in case it's needed, and money.
7. Óculos de sol: e para uma pessoa que não vive sem os seus óculos de sol, levá-los para um festival é obrigatório. Além de complementar o vosso outfit, juntamente com um chapéu, ajuda a proteger os nossos olhos e a nossa pele, o que é mais importante ainda num dia inteiro passado ao sol.
Sunglasses: and for a person who doesn't live without sunglasses, taking them for a festival is obligatory. Besides complementing your outfit, next to a hat, it helps protecting our eyes and our skin, which is the most important thing.
8. Lenço: e para quando chega o fresco da noite, levem um lenço numa cor sóbria para poderem colocar por cima ou à volta do pescoço e assim ficarem mais quentinhas.
Scarf: and for when the night arrives, take a scarf in a neutral color so you can put it on top of you or around your neck and that way you'll be so much warmer.
9. Protector solar: e protecção nunca é demais quando se passa o dia todo ao sol, por isso apliquem protector solar na vossa pele antes de sairem de casa e se acharem necessário levem e vão aplicando durante o dia. Ninguém quer ir a um festival e sair de lá toda vermelha, não é?
Sunscreen: and protection is never too much when you're spending the entire day at the sun, so apply sunscreen on your skin before leaving the house and if you think it's necessary reapply it throughout the day. Nobody wants to go to a festival and leave it with a sunburn, right?
Backpack: Parfois
Estes são alguns dos essenciais que não faltariam na minha mochila, mas claro que dependem de pessoa para pessoa. O que interessa é protegerem-se e hidratarem-se durante o dia e aquecerem-se durante a noite. E depois é só divertirem-se ao máximo e aproveitar!
These are some of the essentials that would be in my backpack, but of course they depend from person to person. What matters it to protect and hydrate during the day and get warmer during the night. And then have fun and enjoy!
