My favorites at Met Gala 2014

Vamos lá a mais uma semana e vamos começar a semana cheia de glamour e beleza com alguns dos meus outfits favoritos dos Met Gala 2014 que decorreram a semana passada.
Let's start another week and we'll start the week full of glamour and beauty with some of my favorite outfits from the Met Gala 2014 that happened last week. 

Este ano o Metropolitan Museum of Art, em Nova Iorque, recebeu a gala anual do Costume Institute sob o tema "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" e teve como inspiração a obra do designer britânico de alta costura, Charles James. Sendo as criações deste senhor tão glamorousas e elegantes, este ano a passadeira vermelha só poderia estar recheada de momentos que o representassem. Porém, o Met Gala é o evento em que se pode arriscar mais na roupa que se escolhe, celebrando-se a originalidade e a genialidade da moda. Mas dentro dos limites claro...
This year the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, received the annual Costume Institute Gala under the theme "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" and had as inspiration the work of the British high-fashion designer Charles James. Being his creations so glamorous and elegant, this year the red carpet could only be full of moments that could represent him. However, the Met Gala is the event in which people can risk the most on the outfit, celebrating originality and fashion genius. But with limits, of course...

Aqui ficam alguns dos outfits que mais gostei, pela simplicidade e elegância, mas sempre com um toque de ousadia e diferença.
Here are some of the outfits I liked the most, for their simplicity and elegance, but always with a touch of audacity and difference.

 Anna Kendrick in J.Mendel

Preto e branco NUNCA resulta mal e este conjunto é prova disso. Simples mas lindo.
Black and white NEVER go wrong and this outfit is the prove of that. Simple but beautiful.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Oscar de la Renta

Apenas Sarah Jessica Parker consegue vestir um vestido e torná-lo ainda mais especial. Tão Sex and the City! LOVE IT!
Only Sarah Jessica Parker can put on a dress and make it look even more special. So Sex and the City! LOVE IT!

 Rihanna in Stella Mccartney

Rihanna estava sexy mas nada muito exagerado. Achei que estava muito bonita.
Rihanna was sexy but nothing too exaggerated. I thought she looked very pretty.

 Hailee Steinfeld in Prabal Gurung

Mais uma vez preto e branco num conjunto lindo e muito elegante. 

Adorei especialmente a forma do vestido.
Once again black and white in a beautiful and very elegant outfit.
I specially loved the shape of the dress.

Arizona Muse in Zac Posen

Porque o vermelho total só algumas conseguem que resulte, este vestido de Zac Posen é magnífico e ficou-lhe tão bem!
Because only some can make a total red look work, this Zac Posen dress is amazing and it suited her so well!

 Beyoncé Knowles in Givenchy

Beyoncé conseguiu usar um look total black sem parecer que ia para um funeral. As transparências tornaram todo o conjunto menos pesado e aquele detalhe da renda na cabeça foi o toque que faltava. LINDA!
Beyoncé managed to use a total black look without looking that she was going to a funeral. Transparencies made the entire outfit less heavy and that lace detail on her head was the last touch. BEAUTIFUL!

Blake Lively simples, numa cor sóbria mas ainda assim linda.
A simple Blake Lively, on a sober color but still beautiful.

 Cara Delevingne in Stella Mccartney

E porque um vestido já deixou de ser obrigatório neste tipo de festas há muito tempo, todo este conjunto grita estilo e elegância. E claro que o corpinho também ajuda.
And because a dress is not obligatory in this kind of parties anymore, this entire outfit screams style and elegance. And of course that her body helps a lot. 

Gisele Bündchen in Balenciaga

E por falar em corpinho, Gisele estava deslumbrante! 
And talking about body, Gisele was stunning! 

 Hayden Panettiere in Dennis Basso

Achei este vestido tão querido com as cores pastéis e assentou-lhe na perfeição. Adoro-a!
I thought this dress was so sweet with the pastel colors and it fit her perfectly. I love her!

Kim Kardashian in Lanvin

Apesar de tudo o que se possa dizer (e do acidente de Kim antes de entrar na festa), ela estava linda. Sim, a racha do vestido podia ser mais pequena mas o vestido não deixa de ser lindo. 
Despite everything that is said (and Kim's accident before going to the party), she was beautiful. Yes, the dress split could be smaller but the dress is still beautiful.

 Selena Gomez in Diane Von Fürstenberg

Selena estava muito simples mas a cor ficou-lhe lindamente e o vestido é mais uma vez muito elegante.
Selena was very simple but the color looked beautiful on her and the dress is once again very elegant.

 Charlize Theron in Dior Couture

Aquele blazer por cima dos ombros foi a cereja no topo do bolo. Todo o conjunto ficou perfeito e a Charlize está mais linda do que nunca.
That blazer over her shoulders was the cherry on top of the cake. The entire outfit was perfect and Charlize looks more beautiful than ever.

Kendall Jenner in Topshop

Esperava um pouco mais de Kendall, mas o vestido em forma de sereia caiu-lhe na perfeição. Com a altura dela também não era díficil. 
I was waiting a little more from Kendall, but the mermaid dress fit perfectly on her. And with her height is not that difficult. 

 Reese Witherspoon in Stella McCartney

Rosa choque para alegrar a passadeira vermelha. Reese Witherspoon estava muito bonita.
Bright pink to cheer the red carpet. Reese Witherspoon was very beautiful.

Taylor Swift in Oscar de la Renta

O vestido de Taylor Swift não me encantou logo mal vi as fotos, mas ao pesquisar um pouco mais acabei por achar o vestido muito bonito, cheio de detalhes e sofisticação.
Taylor Swift's dress didn't catch my eye as soon as I saw the pictures, but while I was searching a little bit more I ended up finding the dress very beautiful, full of details and sophistication.
