Ontem a Ana falou-nos sobre a Gala Met deste ano onde grandes nomes desfilaram na passadeira vermelha. O post de hoje tem o
mesmo tema, mas falaremos apenas da maquilhagem que desfilou da Gala Met de
2014.
Yesterday Ana told us about this year's Met Gala where big names appeared on the red carpet. Today's post has the same theme, but we'll only talk
about the makeup that was seen on the 2014 Met Gala.
Começamos com um grande ícone de tendências
do mundo da maquilhagem, a fantástica Dita Von Teese. No que toca a
maquilhagem, esta mulher está sempre no seu melhor! O clássico estilo pin up já
faz parte da sua imagem e uma vez mais decidiu utilizá-lo na Gala Met. E fez muito bem, porque lhe assenta na perfeição!
We start with a big trend icon in the
makeup world, the amazing Dita Von Teese. When it comes to makeup, this woman
is always at her best! The classic pin up style is already part of her image
and once again she decided to use it at the Met Gala. And she did very well, because
it fits her perfectly!
A grande Katie Holmes tem-nos habituado
mal. Aparece sempre no seu melhor em todas as passadeiras vermelhas mas nesta
Gala Met deve ter tido uma forte crise de meia-idade e decidiu optar pelo
estilo minimalista. Pois bem, quanto à preparação de pele, acho que está
fantástica, mas quando nos viramos para os olhos acho que a maquilhagem está
com um ar “pobrezinho”. Será que a crise já chegou à casa Holmes?
The great
Katie Holmes always
appears at her best in all the red carpets but in this Met Gala she must have had a
strong midlife crisis and decided to opt for the minimalist style. Well, concerning the
skin preparation, I think it's fantastic, but when we turn to the eyes, I think
the makeup looks a little bit "poor". Has the crisis arrived to the Holmes's house?
A modelo sensação, Cara Delevingne! Sou uma
apaixonada pelas sobrancelhas desta mulher! A nova tendência de sobrancelhas
mais grossas não é para toda a gente, mas esta mulher aderiu em grande e
fica-lhe tão bem, já para não falar de que são das sobrancelhas mais perfeitas
(se não as mais perfeitas) que já vi. Quanto à maquilhagem, é caso para dizer
“chegou e arrasou”! A pele está perfeita e os olhos um estrondo, uns olhos
esfumados em tons de castanho e delineados a preto, evidencia imenso os seus
olhos claros. Optou por um visual bastante neutro, os tons terra nos olhos e o
batom nude nos lábios. Uma combinação que nunca nos deixa ficar mal.
The sensation model, Cara Delevingne! I’m in love with the eyebrows of this woman! The new trend of thicker eyebrows
isn’t for everyone, but this woman does it so well, not to
mention that they are some of the most perfect (if not the most perfect) eyebrows I've
ever seen. For the makeup, she could say "I'm here and I killed it!" The skin is
perfect and the eyes are “bang”, with a smoky eye in brown tones and black eyeliner, which enhances a lot her clear eyes. She opted for a neutral look,
earth tones on the eyes and a nude lipstick on the lips. A combination that
never lets us down.
Temos de ser sinceros quando dizemos que
nunca esperamos muito dos mais jovens. Mas, a Selena Gomez veio para contrariar
isso. Nesta Gala Met optou por um visual romântico. Uma preparação de pele
impecável, com o rosto ligeiramente contornado. Os olhos em tons de prata e
rosa, com um delineado simples em preto e pestanas longas, nada muito
exagerado, mas que resultou na perfeição. Nos lábios um batôm burgundy com um
subtom rosa, foi o foco da maquilhagem. Um
resultado final impecável, romântico e iluminado.
We must be honest when we say that we never
expect much from the younger people. But Selena Gomez has come to oppose that.
In this Met Gala she opted for a romantic look. A flawless skin preparation,
with a slightly contoured face. The eyes with shades of silver and pink, with a simple
black eyeliner and long eyelashes, nothing too extreme, but that worked perfectly. A burgundy lipstick on the lips with a pink undertone was the
focus of the makeup. A
perfect final result, romantic and light.
Há uns
tempos que a Taylor Swift quis deixar para trás a sua fama de menina, desde aí
fez um novo amigo, o batôm vermelho. O típico visual regido pela regra “olhos
nada, boca tudo”, resulta sempre bem sim, mas como acho que nós jovens devemos
sempre “arriscar” um pouco mais, acho que se torna um pouco aborrecido. Uma
pele perfeita, uns olhos neutros marcados por um delineado preto ao estilo
“gatinho” e o foco de cor na boca, um batôm vermelho vivo de acabamento mate.
Taylor, já diz o típico ditado português, “quem não arrisca, não petisca”.
Taylor Swift has been wanting to
leave behind her little girl fame for a while now, and since then she made a new friend, the red lipstick. The typical look by the rule
"nothing on the eyes, everything on the mouth", it always works

A simpática Emma Stone, que nos traz sempre
um toque de cor mas numa versão sóbria. Um ligeiro toque de cor nos olhos, com
uma sombra cobre e um delicado delineado em preto. E uma boca ligeiramente
rosada. Gostei do resultado final!

pink. I liked the final result!
Finalmente houve alguém que decidiu arriscar
e ser irreverente na passadeira vermelha! Joan Smalls arriscou e eu arrisco-me
a dizer que acertou. Dona de uma pele de um tom “bronzeado” invejável, optou
por uma boa preparação de pele, evidenciando o seu tom natural através do
bronzer, blush e iluminador. Adorei o resultado. Os olhos simples, sombras em
tons terra, delineado simples em preto e pontos de luz com sombra iluminadora.
E o grande foco de toda a maquilhagem, os lábios! Um choque para muitos, uma admiração
para outros, a irreverente Joan apareceu de lábios roxos! É verdade, um roxo
escuro e bem forte, um tom muito pouco usual para uma gala (pouco usual no
geral). Mas eu confesso que adorei o resultado! Há que arriscar e ela teve
coragem para isso! Parabéns Joan!
Finally there was someone who decided to risk and be irreverent on the red carpet! Joan Smalls risked and I venture to
say that she nailed it. Owner of a skin with an enviable "tan," she opted
for a good skin preparation, highlighting her natural tone through the
bronzer, blush and illuminator. I loved the result. With simple eyes, eye shadows
in earthy tones, simple and black eyeliner with light spots with
illuminating shadow. And the big focus of the entire makeup, the lips! A shock for
some people, an admiration for others, the irreverent Joan appeared with purple
lips! It’s true, a dark and strong purple, a very unusual tone for a gala
(unusual in general). But I confess, I loved the result! We must take risks and
she had the guts to do it! Congratulations

Lively e Anne Hathaway, o verdadeiro exemplo de que “menos é mais”. Optaram por
um visual simples, mas cheio de glamour. Um rosto limpo e livre de
imperfeições, com contornos ligeiramente definidos e um subtil toque de blush.
Uns olhos muito simples, com o côncavo ligeiramente marcado, um delineado fino
em preto, sombra luminosa em alguns pontos estratégicos para abrir o olhar e
longas pestanas. Aqui o foco são as pestanas, destacam imenso o olhar, uma vez
que uma é dona de uns belos olhos azuis e outra de uns grandes olhos castanhos
(que apesar de mais comuns também são sempre apaixonantes). Na boca, optaram
por um tom simples, um batôm rosa com um subtom vermelho, para dar um pouco de
cor ao rosto. Mais um resultado final perfeito!

As giras das gémeas Olsen! Sempre achei
estas miúdas lindas, sabiam como jogar para estarem sempre no seu melhor, mas há
uns tempos para cá devem ter tido algum ataque de qualquer coisa (não sei bem o
que se anda a passar com esta juventude). São jovens e bonitas e depois
aparecem numa gala com um visual completamente apagado. É verdade que o visual
clean está em voga, mas acho que elas exageraram. Uma pele bonita e sem
imperfeições, mas abusaram no bronzer e escolheram um pouco mal o blush, a
estrutura óssea ficou demasiado marcada e ficaram com um ar um pouco
envelhecido. Os olhos despidos de cor, também não ajudaram nada no visual. O
mesmo se pode dizer do batom nude. Meninas, onde estavam com a cabeça? Estariam
elas atrasadas para a gala? (Espero que tenha sido isso mesmo!) O resultado
final foi mau, são jovens senhoras e ficaram a parecer que eram bem mais velhas
do que na realidade são.
The beautiful Olsen twins! I always thought
these girls were beautiful, they knew how to play to always be at their best, but as of late they must had some kind of attack (I'm not sure what's going on with
this youth). They are young and beautiful and then appear in a gala with an
entirely faded look. It’s true that the clean look is in, but I think they exaggerated. A beautiful and flawless skin, but they used too much bronzer and
chose the color of the blush badly, the bone structure was too marked
and they were looking older. The eyes without any color didn’t help at all. The same can be said about the nude lipstick. Girls, where were your
heads? Were they late for the gala? (I hope it was that!) The final result was
bad, they are young ladies and they looked like they were so much older than they
really are.
Claro que tínhamos de acabar com “chave de
ouro”, literalmente! A estonteante Jessica Alba! Dona de um tom de pele ligeiramente
bronzeado, decidiu tirar partido disso e brilhar na passadeira vermelha. Com
uma preparação de pele perfeita em tudo, quer em bronzer, blush e iluminador,
tudo jogou a seu favor. Uns olhos dourados, bem iluminados e ligeiramente
esfumados em tons mais escuros (como castanho e cinza chumbo). Uma boca bem
simples, com um batôm nude. Foi sem dúvida das melhores apostas. A iluminação
da maquilhagem estava perfeita! A utilização do iluminador de rosto foi a ideal
e as sombras cintilantes fecharam o visual na perfeição. Não era de esperar
outra coisa, a nossa Jessica nunca nos deixou mal.
Of course we had to end with a "golden
key", literally! The stunning Jessica Alba! Owner of a slightly tanned
skin tone, she decided to take advantage of that and shine on the red carpet. With
a perfect skin preparation, including bronzer, blush and illuminator, everything worked at her favor. Golden eyes, bright and slightly smoky in darker
shades (like brown and dark gray). A simple mouth with a really nude lipstick.
It was certainly the best bet. The highlighting of the makeup was perfect! The use of
the illuminator on the face was amazing and the shimmering eye shadows
closed perfectly the look. I wasn’t expecting anything different, our Jessica never let us down.
