Dentifrice routine: Colgate Max White One

E hoje volto para Lisboa leitores! As férias acabaram e agora há novos projectos, a faculdade a começar e novidades para o blog. Fiquem muito atentos! Hoje venho então falar da minha rotina dentífrica. Desde que utilizei aparelho durante 2 anos que tenho um grande cuidado com os meus dentes, mas a falta de brancura sempre me incomodou. Investiguei algumas técnicas mas tive medo que fizessem ainda pior e branquear não foi muito recomendado pelo meu dentista. Entretanto surgiram os anúncios da pasta Colgate Max White One e tenho adorado! Tenho constatado que os dentes estão realmente mais brancos, o hálito fica fresco e os dentes suaves e limpos. Tem algo que não dispenso nas pastas de dentes: não tem um sabor muito forte. Aprovadíssimo!

And today I'm back to Lisbon! Vacations are over and now there are new projects, college is about to begin and there are news to the blog. So be very attentive! Today I come to talk about my dentifrice routine. Since I used braces for 2 years that I have very careful with my teeth, but the lack of whitening always bothered me. I researched  some techniques but I was afraid that they would make even worst and bleach them wasn't very recommended by my dentist. Meanwhile the commercials about the toothpaste Colgate Max White One came out and I've been loving it! I've been noticing that my teeth are really whiter, my breath is fresher and the teeth get soft and clean. Has something that I don't excuse in a toothpaste: it doesn't have a very strong flavor. Approved!

A pasta contém micro cristais aceleradores de branqueamento e ingredientes semelhantes aos utilizados pelos dentistas. Elimina as manchas e previne o aparecimento de tártaro e no espaço de uma semana consegue-se um tom de dentes mais branco. Wintery nails

Irá usar-se uma unha de cor diferente das restantes, vernizes com glitter, metalizados (verde, esmeralda, vermelho (desde o coral até ao vinho), chumbo e azul). Vão usar-se as unhas mais curtas.

It will be used a nail in a different color from the rest, glitter nails,  metal nails (green, emerald, red (since the coral until the wine), lead and blue). The nails will be used shorter.

Supatra Thai Restaurant

Bom dia a todos meus amores!

Good morning my loves!

Hoje é um dia especial porque é o aniversário do meu amor e vou passar o dia inteirinho com ele por aqui na Areia Branca. Mas não podia deixar de escrever no blog claro, e hoje quero falar-vos da minha primeira experiência tailandesa.

Today it's a special day because it's my love b-day and I will spend the entire day with him around here in Areia Branca. But I could not spend the day without writing on the blog of course, and today I want to talk about my first Thai experience.

No dia da visita ao Buddha Eden Garden (que podem ver aqui) fomos almoçar a um restaurante tailandês, Supatra Thai, e ADOREI! Comemos muito bem e experimentámos algumas especialidades tailandesas. A comida é toda deliciosa e as pessoas foram muito simpáticas.

In the day of visiting the Buddha Eden Garden (that you can see here) we went have lunch to a Thai restaurant, Supatra Thai, and I LOVED IT! We ate so well and we tried some Thai specialties. The food is so delicious and the people were very nice.

 

O Supatra Thai é o restaurante Tailândes mais antigo em Portugal. Abriu portas em 1991, nas Caldas da Rainha, e após uma pequena pausa, reabriu na freguesia do Carvalhal, numa adega recuperada construída em 1928. A comida é preparada com autenticidade e personalidade pela Chefe Supatra Silva e resulta num menu moderno e elegante. O restaurante está situado a menos de 60 minutos de Lisboa e perto do Buddha Eden, da Quinta dos Loridos e de Óbidos.

Supatra Thai is the oldest Thai restaurant in Portugal. It opened in 1991, in Caldas da Rainha, and after a little break, it reopen in Carvalhal, in a recovered cellar built in 1928. The food is prepared with authenticity and personality by the Chief Supatra Silva and it turns out in a modern and elegant menu. The restaurant is situated in less of 60 minutes from Lisbon and near Buddha Eden, Quinta dos Loridos and Óbidos.

Trend: Hair styles for 2013/2014

O Verão vai chegando ao fim e temos de estar atentas às tendências que aí vêm na próxima estação. Neste post já falei das tendências em relação à roupa e hoje venho falar das tendências em relação aos nossos queridos cabelos.

Summer is coming to an end and we have to be attentive to the trends that are coming in the next season. In this post I talked about the trend concerning clothes and today I come to talk about the trend concerning our dear hairs.

Os penteados certos valorizam o nosso rosto e com o Inverno têm tendência a ser mais tratados e estruturados. Mas, tal como no Verão, também na altura do frio temos de ter cuidados com o cabelo. Antes de escolher não se esqueçam que o penteado tem de ter a ver convosco e adequar-se ao vosso estilo de vida. Vamos lá ver então os penteados que vão estar IN neste Outono/Inverno.

The right hair styles value our face and with Winter they are normally more treated and structured. But, just like in Summer, in cold times we have to be careful with our hair too. Before choosing don't forget that the hair style has to be related to you and fit your life style. Let's see then which hair styles will be IN this Fall/Winter season.

Asymmetrical cuts

Bem marcados, com franja e mais compridos à frente ou de lado.
Well traced, with bangs and longer at the front or on the sides.

Short cuts

Escadeados ou assimétricos mas muito curtos e com movimento.
Lightly layered or asymmetrical but very short and with movement.

Low Ponytails

Os rabos-de-cavalo querem-se bem apanhados e o mais em baixo possível.
The ponytails are wanted well catch and as lower as possible.

Bangs are back!

As franjas querem-se compridas, a cobrir as sobrancelhas e a tocar nos olhos.
The bangs are wanted long, covering the eyebrows and touching the eyes.

High chignons

Os coques querem-se bem altos, pouco estruturados e bagunçados.
The chignons are wanted very high, not too much structured and messy.

Dark colors

A cor escura será a preferida, em tons castanhos. Deve haver o minímo de variação de cores.
Dark colors will be the favorite ones, in brown tones. It must have the minimal variation of colors.

Volume vs. flat

Quer-se volume, ondas largas e suaves ou então cabelos muito lisos.
We want volume, wide and soft curls or instead very flat hair.

Last movie

Boa noite a todos!

Good evening everyone!

Mais uma semana que passou e sem darmos por isso as férias estão a acabar. Hoje venho falar de um filme que vi durante a semana e que nem acredito que nunca tinha visto: Assalto ao Arranha-Céus. Eu nem sabia que este filme era o conhecido Die Hard (nome do filme em inglês), o que é normal porque os nomes não têm nada a ver e como tradutora chateia-me imenso a forma como se traduzem os nomes dos filmes hoje em dia.

Another week is gone and without noticing it the vacations are ending. Today I come to talk about a movie I saw during the week and that I don't believe I never saw before: Die Hard. I didn't even know that this movie was the known Die Hard (name of the movie in English; in portuguese is "Assalto ao Arranha-Céus"), what is normal because the names have nothing to do with each other and as a translator it really upsets me the way that the names of the movies are translated nowadays.

 O filme é protagonizado por Bruce Willis no papel de John McClane, que é um detective de Nova Iorque. É durante a época natalícia e num imponente arranha-céus em Los Angeles que a acção decorre e que se dá um ataque terrorista, no qual John se vê envolvido e vai ter de o resolver como um herói do cinema clássico.

 

O filme é antigo, de 1988, e é um tipíco filme de acção e suspense. Claro que o Bruce Willis representa o seu papel na perfeição e encaixa muito bem no seu papel. Já viram este filme? O que acharam?

The movie is old, from 1988, and it's a typical action and suspense movie. Of course that Bruce Willis represents his part perfectly and fits very good in his role. Have you seen this movie? What did you think?

Buddha Eden Garden + look

Olá a todos! Hoje fui visitar o Jardim Buddha Eden e só tenho uma palavra: MAGNÍFICO! Desde as estátuas, ao ambiente, ao estado preservado e limpo de tudo, até à entrada da casa-de-banho toda em pedra, tudo no jardim da paz é maravilhoso e como tal tinha de vos mostrar algumas fotos. Eu realmente senti que não estava em Portugal, tudo transmite uma sensação única. Aproveito para vos mostrar também o look que usei. Foi um look muito fresquinho e "à verão": as calças brancas são muito a cara do Verão e usei a minha nova aquisição: um maxi-colar.
Hello everyone! Today I went to visit the Buddha Eden Garden and I only have one word: AMAZING! Since the statues, the environment, the preserved and clean state of the garden, until the entry of the bathroom all in stone, everything in the garden of peace is wonderful and I have to show you some photos.I really felt that I wasn't in Portugal, everything transmits an unique feeling. I also show you the look I wore. It was a very fresh and summery look: white jeans are the face of Summer and I used my new acquisition: a maxi-collar.

O Buddha Eden Garden tem cerca de 35 hectares e foi idealizado e concebido pelo Comendador José Berardo como resposta à destruição dos Budas Gigantes de Bayman. Em 2001, chocado com a atitude do governo Talibã, que destruiu momentos únicos do Património da Humanidade, Berardo deu início à construcção deste jardim oriental. Presta assim homenagem aos budas esculpidos na rocha do vale de Bayman, no centro de Afeganistão, e que foram durante séculos referências culturais e espirituais. Esta é uma instituição cultural sem fins lucrativos e ao serviço da comunidade nacional e internacional. O jardim está todo vocacionado para a meditação e para a promoção da interacção social e cultural, de acordo com os princípios de solidariedade e de dignidade humana. Visitem aqui o site.

Buddha Eden Garden has about 35 hectares and was idealized and conceived by the Commander José Berardo as an answer to the destruction of the Giant Buddhas of Bayman. In 2001, shocked  with the Taliban government's attitude, that destroyed unique moments from the Humanity Patrimony, Berardo initiated the construction of this oriental garden. It gives tribute to the Buddhas sculptured in the rocks in Bayman valley, in the center of Afeganistan, and that were during centuries cultural and spiritual references. The garden is all dedicated to meditation and for the promotion of social and cultural interaction, according to the principles of solidarity and human dignity. Visit the website here.
