Last movie

Good morning everyone!

O primeiro fim-de-semana de Agosto já está quase a passar, é impressionante a rapidez com que está a passar este Verão não é? É por isso que temos de o aproveitar bem. Hoje volto para Lisboa durante uns dias, até voltar para cá para ficar o resto do mês. E como é Domingo, aqui vai o filme que vi esta semana no cinema IMAX: Batalha do Pacífico.

The first weekend of August is almost passing, it's impressive how fast this Summer is passing right? That's why we have to enjoy it. Today I'm back to Lisbon for a few days until I come back here to stay the rest of the month. And because it's Sunday, here is the movie I saw this week in the IMAX theaters: Pacific Rim.

Em Batalha do Pacífico, uma legião de criaturas monstruosas, os Kaiju, começam a emergir do Oceano Pacífico e iniciam uma guerra contra os humanos, pois pretendem tirar a vida a milhões de pessoas e consumir os recursos da Humanidade. Para combater os gigantes Kaiju, os humanos têm de criar um novo tipo de arma: robôs gigantes chamados Jaegers, que são controlados por dois pilotos simultaneamente. Quando até os Jaegers se encontram à beira da derrota, a Humanidade vai ter de recorrer a dois heróis improváveis: um ex-piloto e uma inexperiente estagiária. Juntos, serão a última esperança face ao apocalipse.

In Pacific Rim, a legion of monstrous creatures, the Kaiju, starts to emerge from the Pacific Ocean and begins a war against humans, because they pretend to take the life of millions of people and consume all resources of mankind. To fight the giant Kaijus, humans have to create a new kind of weapon: giant robots named Jaegers, that are controlled by two pilots at the same time. When even the Jaegers find themselves facing defeat, mankind will have to resort to two unlikely heroes: an ex-pilot and an inexperient intern. Together, they will be the last hope facing the apocalypse.
