A semana
passada tivemos como tema os pinceis quanto ao tipo de cerdas. Hoje venho
esclarecer algumas dúvidas quanto à lavagem de pinceis. Se querem saber alguns
truques continuem a ler!
Last week we talked about brushes concerning the type of bristles. Today I come to clarify on how to clean the makeup

Os
pinceis são um instrumento indispensável para a nossa maquilhagem e é verdade
que são dos artigos de maquilhagem mais monetariamente dispendiosos. Claro
que queremos ter sempre dos melhores produtos, para assim obtermos melhores
resultados, e por isso para que os nossos pinceis durem durante mais tempo e em
perfeito estado temos de cuidar muito bem deles. E isso passa por os lavarmos
regularmente, pois com o uso estes acabam por se sujarem. Convém lavarmos os
pinceis com bastante frequência, no mínimo dos mínimos duas vezes por semana,
pois são um instrumento que ao estar muito tempo sujo com a maquilhagem começa
a gerar bactérias e se estas entrarem em contacto com a pele acabam por formar o tal
acne indesejado, entre outras coisas.
Brushes are an indispensable tool for
our makeup and it’s true that they are some of the most expensive makeup tools. Of course we always want the best products in order to obtain
better results and therefore to our brushes last longer and in perfect
condition we have to take very good care of them. And that only happens if we wash them
regularly, because with the use they end up getting dirty. The best is to wash them often enough, at the very least twice a week, because if they stay too much time with makeup they begin producing bacteria, and if they get in touch with the skin there will be eventually the so unwanted acne, among other things.
Existem várias maneiras de limpar os pinceis, explico-vos agora algumas delas.
There are several ways to clean the makeup
brushes, I now explain you some of them.
Limpeza Rápida / Quick
Cleaning
A limpeza
rápida é uma limpeza superficial, devemos apenas utilizá-la quando estamos com
urgência em utilizar um pincel que está sujo. Para este tipo de limpeza devemos utilizar um líquido de limpeza para pinceis, existem vários no mercado
e de várias marcas, dos que vos apresento aqui os que mais gosto são o da
Sephora e o da Kiko, se bem que o da Sephora é monetariamente menos acessível e
traz menos produto. Com estes “brushes cleanser” os pinceis secam rapidamente
(demora cerca de 2 a 3 minutos a estarem completamente secos) e assim podem
logo utilizar o pincel. Este tipo de limpeza pode
ser feito diariamente.
A quick cleaning is a superficial cleaning,
we should only use it when we urgently need to use a brush that is dirty. For this
type of cleaning we must use a brush cleanser, there are several on the
market and several brands, from the ones that I present you here the one I like the most is the one from Sephora and Kiko, although the Sephora one is monetarily more expensive
and has less product. With these brush cleansers the brushes dry
quickly (it takes about 2-3 minutes until the brush is completely dry) and so we
can immediately use the brush. This type of cleaning can be done daily.
Limpeza Profunda / Deep Cleaning
A limpeza
profunda é mais demorada, pois os pinceis têm de secar por si e dependendo do
tipo de cerdas pode demorar mais ou menos tempo. Os pinceis necessitam deste
tipo de limpeza pelo menos uma vez por semana, pois assim sabemos que ficam
limpos em profundidade.
The deep cleaning takes more time, because the brushes have to dry and
depending on the type of bristles it can take more or less time. The brushes need
this kind of cleaning at least once a week because then we know they are totally cleaned.
É aqui
que entram as diferenças entre cerdas sintéticas e cerdas naturais.
This is where the differences between
synthetic and natural bristles come in.
Para os
pinceis de cerdas sintéticas utilizo um gel ou sabonete antibacteriano, assim
ao mesmo tempo que limpa os pinceis também desinfeta.
For brushes with synthetic bristles I use a
gel or antibacterial soap, so while it cleans the brush it also disinfects it.
Basta
humedecer um pouco as cerdas do pincel, colocar um pouco de gel na palma da mão
e esfregar o pincel suavemente em movimentos circulares e depois é só passar o
pincel por água corrente. Para que o pincel fique mesmo bem limpo, costumo
repetir o processo mais uma vez.
You just have to wet the bristles of the
brush a little bit, put a little of the gel on the palm of your hand and rub the brush gently in a circular
motion and then just put the brush under running water. In order to the brush stay really
clean, I repeat the process one more time.
Para os
pinceis de cerdas naturais devemos utilizar produtos mais gentis.
For brushes with natural bristles we should use
more gentle products.

processo é exactamente o mesmo mas devem utilizar um champô mais delicado,
como o champô de bebé. No fim devem aplicar apenas na ponta das cerdas um
pouco de condicionador do cabelo, aguardem alguns segundos e passem o pincel
por água corrente.
The process is exactly the same, but we use
a more gentle shampoo, like a baby shampoo. In the end you just have to apply a little bit of hair conditioner on the tip of
the bristles, wait a few seconds and wash the
brush under running water.

vou deixar-vos uma dica e é sobre a forma como eu lavo os meus pinceis de cerdas
naturais:
Now I’ll leave you a tip and it's about how I wash my
natural bristle brushes:

processo é exactamente o mesmo, a única coisa que muda é o produto utilizado. Em vez de utilizar champô de bebé utilizo champô para cavalos. É
verdade meninas! E posso garantir-vos que faz milagres pelos vossos pinceis.
The process is exactly the same, the only
thing that changes is the product used. Instead of using baby shampoo,
I use shampoo for horses. It's true girls! And I can assure you it does
wonders for your brushes.
Utilizo
o champô para cavalos Man ‘n Tail. Compro na Decathlon e dura imenso, pois a
embalagem é enorme e vocês só precisam de um pouco de produto. No fim da
lavagem aplico também um pouco de condicionador de cabelo nas pontas e volto a
enxaguar o pincel.
I use the Man 'n Tail horses shampoo.
I buy it at Decathlon and it lasts ages, because the packaging is huge and you just
need a little bit of product. After washing I also apply some hair conditioner on
the ends and I put the brush under water again.
Depois é só deixarem os vossos pinceis secarem. Aconselho a utilizarem uma toalha por baixo destes, pois assim a
humidade será absorvida e os pinceis secarão mais rápido.
Then you just leave the brushes to dry. I
advise you to use a towel underneath them, so the humidity is absorbed and the
brushes dry faster.
