Raining in Rome: day III

Hi everyone!

Como está a ser o vosso feriado? Hoje venho mostrar-vos mais umas fotos da minha viagem a Roma. Se ainda não viram os outros dois dias podem ver aqui e aqui. Mais uma vez fiz uma graaaande selecção de fotos para vos mostrar, mas acho que são suficientes para se perceber bem a beleza de Roma mais uma vez.
How is your day going? Today I come to show you more pictures from my trip to Rome. If you haven't seen the other two days you can see them here and here. Once again I had to make a biiiig selection of photos to show you, but I think they're enough to understand the beauty of Rome once again.

Piazza San Pietro & Basilica di San Pietro

Neste dia decidimos ir então ao Vaticano finalmente (estava muito curiosa) e foi o ponto alto deste dia. A Praça de São Pedro e a Basílica são de cortar a respiração. Passámos mais de uma manhã só no Vaticano pois o museu é enorme e como o dia estava de chuva (e granizo) tinhamos de nos ir abrigando mais e iamos andando mais devagar. Mas nem a chuva tirou a beleza ao Vaticano.
On this day we finally decided to go to the Vatican (I was very curious about it) and it was the high point of the day. St. Peter's Square and the Basilica are breath-taking. We spent more than one morning in the Vatican because the Museum is huge and because it was raining and there was hail too we had to refuge sometimes and we would walk slower. But not even the rain took the beauty out of the Vatican.

Infelizmente neste dia o meu amor não me conseguiu tirar muitas fotos porque estava sempre a chover e dentro dos monumentos também não ficavam muito bem por causa das luzes, por isso a única coisa que conseguiram ver foi o meu casaco verde tropa da La Redoute que é óptimo para a chuva. Neste dia era para levar os meus Converse calçados e ainda bem que não o fiz e os troquei pelas botas da Timberland pois iriam ficar encharcados.

Unfortunately on this day my love didn't take me a lot of photos because it was always raining and inside the monuments they didn't look good because of the lights, so the only thing you were able to see was my green jacket from La Redoute that is great for the rain. On this day I was going to use my Converse but I'm glad I didn't  and I switched them for the Timberland boots, because they would be totally soaked.

Espero que tenham gostado das fotografias de mais um dia em Roma. É realmente uma cidade linda, cheia de detalhes fantásticos em todos os cantos e o Vaticano vale mesmo uma visita.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures from another day in Rome. It's really a beautiful city, full of amazing details in every corner and the Vatican is really worth the visit.
