2013 FAVORITES WEEK: nails ❤️

Como foi a vossa semana? A partir de segunda-feira espero já ter novidades para vos mostrar aqui no blog. O blog vai ser renovado, incluíndo o nome do blog, o logótipo, o fundo e outros detalhes. Queria muito contar-vos isto porque estou super entusiasmada com a mudança e espero muito que vocês gostem de como tudo vai ficar. Estava a precisar de uma mudança e achei que o aspecto do blog poderia ser muito mais cativante e o nome muito mais internacional. Mas vão ter de esperar para ver eheh.

How was your week? Monday I hope I already have news to show you here on the blog. The blog will be renovated, including the name, the logo, the background and other details. I really wanted to tell you this because I'm super excited with the change and I really hope that you like how everything will look. I was really needing a change and I thought that the blog's look could be so much more captivating and the name could be more international. But you will have to wait to see eheh.

Agora, quando aos favoritos de hoje. Vamos falar de unhas, neste caso dos meus produtos de unhas e alguns vernizes favoritos do ano de 2013. Eu sou daquelas pessoas que adora vernizes e adora ter as unhas arranjadas, mas também adora comprar coisas baratinhas e com qualidade, não consigo gastar 10 ou 20 euros num verniz quando existem marcas tão boas e tão acessíveis. Now, on to today's favorites. Let's talk about nails, in this case my favorite nail products and some of my favorite nail polishes from 2013. I'm one of those people that love nail polishes and having my nails done, but I also love to buy cheap things that have a great quality, I can't spend 10 or 20 euros in a nail polish when there are so many good brands out there that are so much more accessible. Começamos com a bisnaga mais maravilhosa que alguma vez experimentei. A solução de cutículas e unhas do Dr. Organic é simplesmente espectacular. Eu tenho tendência a ficar com as cutículas muito secas, mas quando estou um tempinho sem verniz (porque também é importante deixar as unhas respirar) coloco todas as noites um pouco desta solução nas minhas unhas, e além de as fortalecer, suaviza as cutículas e ainda ajuda as unhas a crescer. Uns dias a usar este produto e nem parece que temos cutículas secas e peles a sair. Depois na minha lista está o endurecedor de unhas da Essence (que normalmente uso sozinho), que também faz muito bem o seu trabalho e me deixa as unhas muito fortes e o topcoat da Essence que deixa o efeito gel-look, deixando um brilho fantástico. Quando sinto que tive de colocar uma camada de verniz a mais e vai demorar uma eternidade a secar coloco o vaporizador de secagem rápida da AVON que ajuda o verniz a secar mais rapidamente e além disso hidrata as cutículas também com o seu óleo. E claro a base de verniz fortificante da Andreia, que coloco antes do verniz, e que ajuda a que o verniz se mantenha durante mais tempo, além de proteger a unha.

We start with the most wonderful squirt I have ever tried. The cuticle & nails solution by Dr. Organic is simply amazing. I have tendency to have very dry cuticles, but when I'm a while without any nail polish (because it is also important to let our nails breath) I use this solution every night on my nails, and besides strengthening them, it also softens the cuticles and helps the nails to grow. A few days using this product and it doesn't even seem that we have dry cuticles and skin. After that I have in my list the nails hardener by Essence (that I usually use alone), which works really well too and leaves my nails very strong and the Essence Topcoat with the gel-effect look, leaving a fantastic glow. When I feel that I had to use another layer of the nail polish and that it will last an eternity to dry, I use my quick dry nail spray by AVON that helps my nail polish to dry faster and besides that hydrates the cuticles with its oil. And of course the fortifying nail polish base by Andreia, which I use before the regular nail polish and that helps maintaining the nail polish longer, besides protecting the nails.

E agora quanto às cores e marcas que eu mais utilizei durante 2013. Começamos com a H&M que me surpreendeu imenso com os seus vernizes. Duram imenso tempo nas unhas e têm uma grande variedade de cores, o único que tenho por agora é este verde esmeralda (que embora não se veja na foto, tem brilho). De seguida a minha marca de vernizes preferida, a Andreia, com este roxo lindo que eu adoro usar em qualquer altura do ano. Depois temos uma pechincha, um conjunto de 4 vernizes que comprei nos últimos saldos da Sephora que trás um verniz rosa, um vermelho, um com brilhos dourados e outro dourado opaco (que adoro usar numa só unha). Embora a qualidade não se possa comparar a outras marcas, eu adoro as cores e são perfeitas para qualquer altura do ano também. Claro que a KIKO tinha de estar incluída na minha lista, este laranja vivo é das minhas cores preferidas para usar no verão e nem preciso de falar da qualidade deste verniz, certo? No final temos o meu burgundy preferido, da AVON, que também tem uma qualidade espectacular e uma cor linda que adoro usar no Inverno e um coral perfeito para a primavera/verão da marca INOCOS (outra marca que eu amo!).

And now about the colors and the brands that I used the most during 2013. We start with H&M that really surprised me with its nail polishes. They last a really good time on the nails and there are a great variety of colors, the one that I have is this emerald green (although it can't be seen in the picture, it has a little sparkle). Then my favorite nail polishes brand, Andreia, with this beautiful purple that I love using any time of the year. Then we have this bargain, a set with 4 nail polishes that I bought on the last sales in Sephora that brings a pink, a red, a sparkly gold and a opaque gold (which I love using in just one nail). Although the quality can't be compared with other brands, I love the colors and they are perfect for any time of the year too. Of course KIKO had to be included in my list, this bright orange is one of my favorite colors to use in the Summer and I don't even have to talk about their quality, right? In the end we have my favorite burgundy, by AVON, that has also an amazing quality and a beautiful color that I love using in Winter, and a perfect coral to Spring/Summer from INOCOS (another brand that I love!).
