Menswear on New York Fashion Week 2013

Hello everyone!

Como eu sei que existem homens a seguir o blog, decidi trazer hoje as tendências para homem que se viram nas passereles da Semana da Moda de Nova Iorque. Além das apresentações dos estilistas trago-vos também algumas fotografias de Street Style que mais uma vez tenho de partilhar convosco. Por isso, para as meninas, chamem os namorados, os pais e os irmãos e para os meninos, espero que gostem do que aí vem para vocês. Vamos lá ver!

Because I know there are men following the blog, I decided to bring today the trends for man that were seen on the runways of New York Fashion Week. Besides the stylists' presentations I also bring you some photos of Street Style that once again I have to share with you. So, for the girls, call your boyfriends, your dads or your brothers and for the boys, I hope you like what's coming for you. Let's go see!

Houve sem dúvida uma mistura de estilos nas colecções de homem. Tanto se viu roupa muito formal, fatos completos escuros e bem trabalhados, como roupa muito desportiva e casual. O branco foi muito visto, não estivessemos nós a falar da estação Primavera/Verão, mas cores fortes foram igualmente uma aposta (verde, laranja e azul, principalmente nas calças). As calças enroladas ao fundo, tal como já é tendência nas colecções de mulher, também foram vistas e os calções, uma peça essencial para o homem na estação quente, são casuais e desportivos, tal como qualquer homem quer. Não houve medo em arriscar nos padrões, por isso meninos nada de medo em arriscar.

There were without a doubt a mixture of styles in the men collections. Very formal clothes were seen, dark and well-crafted suits, and very sportive and casual clothes as well. The white was very seen, weren't we talking about the Spring/Summer season, but strong colors were equally a bet (green, orange and blue specially on the trousers). The pants rolled up at the bottom, just like it's a trend in women collections, were also seen and shorts, an essential piece for a man in the hot season, are casual and sportive, just like any man wants. There was no fear on risking on the prints, so boys nothing to be afraid of taking a risk.
