perfeita. Continuando a nossa jornada da maquilhagem, o tema de hoje é a base.

The weekend is
coming and with it come the parties, so we have to be in our best, and that includes
have a perfect skin. Continuing our makeup journey, today the topic is foundation.
Como o próprio nome indica, este produto vai
ser a base para a nossa “tela”, ou seja, o nosso rosto. A base serve para uniformizar o tom da pele,
disfarçando assim as imperfeições que existam no rosto. Ao aplicar uma base no
rosto esta vai facilitar a fixação de qualquer produto que seja aplicado
seguidamente. Deixa
também um ar saudável e bonito à pele, pois todas nós gostamos sempre de
mostrar o nosso melhor lado. Devemos
sempre utilizar uma base o mais semelhante possível ao tom da nossa pele.
As the name implies, this product will be the basis to our
"screen", our face. The foundation has the purpose of even out the skin tone, thus disguising the imperfections that exist
on the face. Applying the foundation in the face will facilitate the
establishment of any product that is applied after. It also leaves a beautiful and
healthy look to the skin, because we always like to show our best side. We should always use a foundation as
similar as possible to our skin tone.
Não existe nenhuma técnica para a aplicação
da base, mas existem alguns pontos aos quais devemos dar especial atenção: devemos
escolher um tom o mais semelhante possível ao nosso tom natural; devemos
espalhar a base por todo o rosto, de maneira uniforme e sem excesso de produto (sem nunca esquecer aplicar no pescoço, peito e junto às orelhas, para evitarmos
o chamado “efeito máscara”). Um dos truques utilizados é aplicar alguns
pontos de produto, como nas faces, nariz, queixo e testa e depois espalhar.
Para espalharmos a base temos várias opções, tais como: pincéis (como já vimos
em posts anteriores, aqui, aqui e aqui), esponjas, beauty blenders ou até mesmo com os dedos, isso
fica à vossa escolha e é como se sentirem mais confortáveis.
There is no technique to apply foundation, but there are some
points that we should pay special attention to: we need to choose a tone as close as
possible to our natural tone; we should spread the foundation all over the
face, uniformly and without excess of product (never forgetting to apply on the
neck, chest and around the ears, to avoid the so-called "mask
effect"). One of the tricks
used is to apply a few points of product in the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead
and then spread it. To scatter the foundation we have various options, such as:
brushes (as seen in previous posts, here, here and here), sponges, beauty blenders or even with your
fingers, it’s your choice and you choose the way that you feel more comfortable.
Existem ainda vários tipos de base e cada um
é mais adequado para cada tipo de pele.
There are various types of foundation and each one is more suitable for
each type of skin.
Base Líquida: Este tipo de base é ideal para peles
normais, oleosas e mistas. É fácil de espalhar, tem uma textura fina e oferece
uma boa cobertura. Alguns BB Creams especiais para peles mistas a oleosas são
também desta textura, pois esta tem uma fórmula especial livre de óleos
e é à base de álcool, hidratante e anti sebo.
Liquid Foundation: This type of foundation is ideal to normal, oily and combination skin. It’s
easy to spread, has a fine texture and offers good coverage. Some BB Creams
special for oily to combination skin have this texture, because it's made with a
special formula free of oils and alcohol-based, moisturizing and anti sebum.
Base em Stick: Esta base tem uma textura mais densa e por
isso cobre especialmente bem as marcas de expressão e pequenas manchas. A maioria
deste tipo de bases servem para todos os tipos de pele, mas existem algumas que
são especialmente feitas à base de óleos hidratantes, por isso devem ser evitadas
pelas peles mistas e oleosas.
Stick Foundation: This foundation has a denser texture and covers especially well the
expression marks and small stains. Most of this foundations are suitable to
all skin types, but there are some that are oil-based moisturizers, so they should
be avoided by combination and oily skins.
Base Cremosa: Esta base é especialmente indicada para
peles secas e normais. A aplicação deste tipo de base em peles mistas e
oleosas pode ajudar no aparecimento de acne, pois é feita à base de óleos
hidratantes, apesar de já existirem algumas bases cremosas livres de óleos.
Devido à sua textura cremosa é extremamente fácil de espalhar e de alta cobertura.
Creamy Foundation: This foundation is especially suitable to dry and normal skin. The
application of this type of foundation on combination and oily skins may help in the
appearance of acne, because it's oil-based
moisturizer, although there are already some creamy foundations free of oils.
Due to its creamy texture it' extremely easy to spread and has high
coverage.
Base Compacta: É ideal para peles normais, mistas e
oleosas. Tem uma dupla função, pois combina a cobertura da base com a textura
aveludada de um pó compacto. Devido à sua textura não é recomendada para peles
maduras, pois tende a acentuar as marcar de expressão e quaisquer rugas
existentes.
Compact Foundation: It’s ideal to normal, combination and oily skin. It has a double function,
it combines the foundation coverage with the velvety texture of a compact powder. Because of its
texture it's not recommended to mature skin, because it tends to accentuate the
marks of expression and any existing wrinkles.
Base em Pó: Este tipo de base não é muito utilizado,
comparado com os anteriores. Tem uma cobertura tradicional, ou seja, normal. É
mais facilmente encontrada na linha dos produtos minerais, tendo assim imensos
benefícios para a pele, por não conter conservantes. É ideal para quem tem uma
pele limpa, sem grandes marcas e imperfeições.
Powder Foundation: This type of foundations it's not very used,
compared to the previous ones. It has a traditional or normal cover. It’s easily
found in the mineral lines and has many benefits to the skin, because it
doesn’t contain preservatives. It’s ideal to those who have a clean skin
without many marks and imperfections.

Este produto é uma evolução na categoria das
bases, pois tem certificado ECOCERT, ou seja, esta é uma base orgânica que além
de fazer a função de base, desintoxica a pele dos químicos que
utilizamos diariamente. Estou
a falar-vos da Bio Détox da Bourjois. Com a sua fórmula especialmente
desenvolvida, contém clorofilas que promovem a absorção de oxigénio na pele,
protegendo-a assim dos agentes agressivos presentes no nosso dia-a-dia.
This product is an evolution in the category of foundations, it has ECOCERT certificate. In other words, this is an organic foundation that besides working as a foundation, it detoxifies the skin from chemicals that we daily use. I'm speaking about the Bio
Detox by Bourjois. With its specially developed formula, it contains chlorophyll
that promotes the absorption of oxygen in the skin, thus protecting it from
aggressive agents present in our day-to-day.
O próximo produto é a base Stay Real da
Nivea. Esta
é uma base líquida, de textura leve e boa cobertura. Desenvolvida com uma
fórmula hidratante e com factores absorventes, torna-se ideal para utilizar
diariamente. Eu pessoalmente gosto bastante desta base, já a utilizo há alguns
anos e nunca me canso dela. Podem encontrar produtos da Nivea, como este, nos
hipermercados e nas parafarmácias Wells e a um óptimo preço.
The next product is the Stay Real by Nivea. This is a liquid foundation that has a light
texture and good coverage. Developed with a moisturizing formula and absorbent
factors, it’s ideal to use daily. I personally really like this foundation, I have been using it for a few years and I never get tired of it. You can find the Nivea products, like
this, in supermarkets and drug stores like Wells and with a great price.
