another week and as such we return to our makeup journey. Today's topic is Blush.
O blush é uma parte imprescindível do processo da maquilhagem. É o que vai dar cor às maçãs do rosto e um aspecto saudável a todo o visual. Mas, muitas de nós ainda não sabem a maneira correcta de o utilizar. Hoje vou explicar-vos todas as técnicas e truques por trás do blush.
The blush is a necessary part of the makeup process. It’s what will give color to the
cheeks and an healthy aspect to the whole look. But many of us still don’t know how to
properly use it. Today I’ll explain you all the techniques and tricks behind
the blush.
Nem todas temos o mesmo tipo de rosto, cor de pele ou mesmo cor do cabelo, por isso não podemos aplicar o blush sempre da mesma maneira. Vou explicar-vos agora como devem aplicar o blush consoante o vosso formato de rosto.
Not all of us have the same type of face, skin or hair color, so we can’t all apply the blush in the same way. Now I’ll explain to you how to apply blush depending on your face shape.

Round face: The ones who have a round face usually want to
tune it. Therefore the application should be directed to the mouth. For this
type of face we use a beveled brush.
Thin, long and oval faces: Those who have a thin face apply blush towards the nose, but always on the cheekbones, thus giving the impression that it’s wider and creating balance. Square face: The square faces, being larger, should also be tuned with the blush, directed towards the mouth. If the square face is too thin, then the blush should be applied only on the cheeks and nose height. Triangular face: To break the "geometric" look of the triangular face, the blush should be applied only on the cheekbones. |

diferentes maneiras de aplicar o blush e que fazem imensa diferença no nosso
aspecto.
As you can see in the picture there are different ways to apply blush
and they make a huge difference in our appearance.
Não é apenas o formato do rosto que temos
que ter atenção, mas também o nosso tom de pele. Este aspeto é muito
importante, pois vai definir o nosso tom ideal de blush.
We don't have to pay attention only to the shape of the face, but to our
skin tone too. This aspect is very important as it will set the tone for our
ideal blush tone.

White Skin (pink tone): Orange and Peach tones go well.
White Skin (yellow tone): Peach isn’t indicated. Ideally the pink tones are better to break the yellow of the skin. Black Skin: Bronze rust, brick red and brown sparkling. Darker shades, no rosy blush. Burgundy and reddish are also indicated, but never an open red. Brunette Skin: Because it is between the white and the black skin it has more options. It goes well with pink or bronzer tones, more open, but not too much in order not to get an orange look. |

| Blond hair: Any shade of pink. Black blued hair: It’s ideal to use a more nude tone, to break the dark tone of the hair. Red, reddish and light brown hair: More neutral blush, like bronze or beige. The first product
is the line of blushes by NYX. This range is developed with a special
formula for high attachment to the skin, what really happens. They are supposed to be
products of long duration and quite pigmented. The line of blushes NYX is
available in 15 different shades, all of them with a great quality and
all of them beautiful! You can find this brand at sale in any online store.
O produto seguinte é um dos meus preferidos,
é o Dallas da Benefit. Este
é um blush num tom mais queimado, o que fica lindo numa pele mais branca, que é
o meu caso no Inverno. A Benefit tem uma enorme variedade de blushes e todos de
boa qualidade e hidratantes. Podem
encontrar os produtos Benefit em qualquer loja Sephora. The next product is one of my favorites: Dallas by Benefit. This is a blush in a burned tone, which looks beautiful in a whiter skin, which is my case in the Winter. Benefit has a huge variety of blushes and all of them with good quality and moisturizers. You can find Benefit products at any Sephora store.
O último produto está também na minha lista
de favoritos e deve ser o que mais utilizo. É o Orgasm da NARS. É verdade, a
NARS insiste em dar estes nomes esquisitos aos seus produtos, mas a verdade é
que este tom é dos mais procurados e dos mais bonitos. O Orgasm é um rosa
queimado com um fundo laranja, o que fica lindo em qualquer tom de pele. São
super duradouros na pele e de ótima qualidade. A linha de blushes da Nars conta
com 28 tons e todos de arrasar!
The last product is also on my list of favorites and maybe it's the one I use the most. It's the Orgasm by NARS. It's true, NARS insists on giving these weird names to their products, but the truth is that this tone is the most popular and
the most beautiful. Orgasm is a burned pink with an orange undertone, which looks
great in any skin tone. They are long lasting and have great quality.
The line of blushes by Nars has 28 tones and they are all kick-ass!
